The image was rendered in daz studo with the manga skin filters and eye filters and toenails and lips darkened . and taken into Topaz Labs. Topaz labs is free and offers many great free filters to enjoy playing with. =-)

Here's Owen wearing the my guy outfit. Pretty nice looking I must say. It dforces quickly too. Some outfits take a long time.  I think Owen's found another of Boyd's shoes.wink

I haven't worked with it sufficiently, however I like it enough to keep it.

I like the fact that it has some wrinkles grooves, and definition and that there are rumples and creases in the shirt without using dfoce. Most dforce models are smooth and you can't get the elbow folds at all.

The collar seems rumpled by nature and loads that way as you can see on toony sam. I haven't figured out if there is a way to get it loaded straight.

When dforced the shirt will open up but dforced is limited to poses where there is no touching and that is hard to really do in DAZ- one wants to have poses where people touch and fold their arms. So you can get those really cool poses if you are willing to contort your character.

You can try posing to just before the touch (or, more to the point, intersection), drape, and then finish the pose off - dForce, unlike OptiTex, doesn't clear if you adjust the pose. You could also use dForms to pull the contacta reas apart. An update of X-Away to deal with things like this would be useful, or maybe Zev0 will do something.

I’m getting deja vu between this pose in the  best friends pose sets released today and the gen 7 brotherly pose sets with this pose.

I only recall it since I just rendered this  pose last page....wink

I thought of your image when I saw the new product and wondered if you had been a tester for it. smiley

I tested out the new CC shave this product and found it turned out nice. Very nice selection of blonde hairs and you can go from subtle to strong. Boyd has very little body hair, so that works well for him. The shorts are Dudetrunks from rendo. A nice amount of morphs with those. Converts well to Gen 8.

Looks really great on him! I was actually on the fence about getting this hair until I saw this.

Yes, I think the light subtle hair with the numerous colors is an improvement on the many manle hair products I own. Plus the hair doesn't float as much as other hairs I've owned.

Sadly there aren't enough male/male friends/brother/boyfriends sets that similar ones don't stand out. I'm sure I'd have trouble recognizing Vicky repeats though and I'm sure there are a sizeable amount of those.  the leaning pose is also a bit similar, but not as close as this one. wink

And I like Zeddicus poses. Less one thinks I diss them.  I bought the set... I just hate that 4 are repeats.

This pose I'm very curious about? Is he pulling off the other dudes shirt?

Well it looks like a cuffing move if the guy in back had a police uniform on but maybe he's just plucking a tick or something off the guy in front or re-locating a dislocation.

I once had a doctor trick me into letting him re-locate my dislocated thumb that was pointing backwards. My thumb was pointing back toward me armpit and he non-chalantly asked to see it and was looking at it non-chalantly with my wrist in his hand & boom, LOL laugh, he seized my arm & my thumb and put it back into place and it didn't even hurt. I guess he & other doctors had enough experience to know that it is not as easy as it should be if you tell the patient you are going to re-locate a dislocation because they'll tense their muscles and make it more difficult. I was like a lion that had a thorn pulled from his paw after that. I didn't start following the doctor around though. laugh

Whatever is going on the guy in front doesn't look too happy. Thats nice of that doctor to spare you the anxiety of anticipation before fixing your thumb. I admit I tend to have anticipation anxiety, and things are rarely as bad as I think they will turn out to be- so I can relate.

I will be finishing the car crush and daddies sets, but my next is going to be cowboys. I'm really intrigued by cowboys (not gunfighters, they are so over represented in western fiction), but well, I like difficult posing issues, and you've got the horse, those hats, and, well the horse.....  Unfortunately, the poses will likely be bareback... Because the saddles bridles and tack don't function properly... But, you'll at least get a few romantic looking cowboys. I'm glad I added the hats, because.... The broad brims add a layer of posing difficulty. Without tack though, not sure what I will do with the  main rider's hands.

Hmm. So my next car crush pose will feature the little tractor. https://www.daz3d.com/tractor-f9n   It definitely needs a new coat of paint! what farmboy in his right mind would let it get THAT rusty?

I wanted to paint it classic John Deere colors but sadly the body and tire rims are one piece!

    These are looking great.

For the lead rider, maybe just position his hands in the general area/pose of someone holding reins and folks can paint in reins, or whatever they do with the squirrly tack.

That's a good idea. I shall do that.

I don't think I have that one. I'll have to look for it. Thansk for the suggestion.

Car Crush is moving along nicely with this farmer almost about to lose his hat. This one is called Hold on to your hat! =-) It probably could go in with the cowboy set too... But Ohwell. I shall work a bit more on the hands and fingers. The steering wheel poses a level of difficulty with reds arm.

If anyone owns the dForce My Guy Jeans and Shirt for Genesis 8 Male can you check if the black and white checkered plaid texture in the orginal packet loads correctly? It looks funky to me in my download.

I just checked this, and no. it seems to load in with a very low tiling number, if that makes sense. the pattern is weirdly huge. If I crank the texture's horizontal and vertical tiling up to 10 it looks ok.

Ah strange but I see that.  Very odd but thanks for checking.

Yes, it's very weird. Not exactly a deal breaking thing, but it seems like this is something QA should have caught. Especially since the thumbnail and promos show it properly tiled.

I think nonesuch00 was refering to the paint job - Massey Ferguson colouring would work too

Holy heck- Serene, you've been a busy bee.

Firstly-thank you for all of the couple poses, I will definitely be using those in the future. Much, much appreciated for the normal, every day kinda posing.

Second-Wow.  The renders in the past five pages are just awesome.  Took a while to catch up since I've been off so much with the move and everything, but well worth the effort. :)

Yes, I was refering to the paint job. Massey-Ferguson and Husqvarna are also popular brands here too...

Hmm, yeah I like that coloration. Would be easier than John Deere too since I can’t do big yellow tires... well I can with two renders or if I want to do a new mat zone but I’m lazy...
