I had the privledge of creating base textures for Thorne's Daisy 8 model and she's a really fun beautiful character ;-)
I did build them with the idea in mind that she could also be used in non-fairy everyday render work ;-)

You aren't the only one! Tho mine was more of a panic attack... twice before i've had characters about done and then found out someone else was using the same name and submitted same time or right before me, and then had to back and change names on morphs, dials, thumbnails, promos... make sure there were conflicts, etc... It's the main reason I put "DD" in front of all the characters I do. It's not so people say "oh, its DD work..." its so if someone else has the same name, I don't have to go and rename it all, the likelihood of something having the same character name AND the same initial in front is a lot smaller. But yeah! Dhalia and Dahlia... I was still worried it'd be rejected for name similarity! Eek. Totally different styles though.

Now about this bundle. Really? another one?
I'm partly bias because i'm more into sci-fi than fantasy, but i just don't get why another female young fairy (is this one like what..the 4th already?). Non of the dark/goth theme items, makeup or morphs needed a "new" base. I actually don't own any of the other young fairys so i could grab this just to have one but i don't really need it. One nice hair and 2 outfits that may be used outside fairy theme. Even with the big discounts (Pro goes for $34 with the textures for 2 outfits) there are no additional good benefits. While the banner and PC+ sales discounts provides nice base, the Daisy Pro bundle provides very little in comparison to previous characters. No DO credit. Only 5 items free, mostly characters that you can get for very little when properly discounted. I think i'll have more characters than clothes for them at this rate! And the Gen3 benefits (that is not actually tied to Daisy) feels more like an extension of PC items for a day with average items.
With this character I do feel the lack of originality in new releases. But I don't think like the G8 must end. There are a lot of things people ask for; like male equivalent for Sakura, Aiko and The Girl. Female version of the freak? I think there was one in previous generations. And while i'm all open (and prefer) multi ethnics, i find the lack of Lilith 8 a huge loss for the generation. Also, make more Aliens, that can provide better variations in both male/female; just think of different morphs than an exposed spine.
I love characters by Thorne and Hinkypunk. I don't believe in limiting myself so question here is, are the textures from Pria and Fi usable on other character morphs? I have no interest in Daisy 8, pretty as she is, but the many characters created for her have textures I am very interested in.
Anyone else facing issues with the normal maps for the hip tattoo staying even after removing the hip tattoo?

Yes, thank the promo artists for a clean face promo. Some of the makup on characters makes it impossible to see what they look like. And I never thought I'd see an Arki outfit in a Pro Bundle. And a lovely one, too.
Although, to be honest, I wasn't expecting a new core figure quite this early in the PC+ summer sale event. But all the stuff in this one looks like it comes to bits and the bits are all kitbashable. So a win.
Really? I don't think the offer is good at all. Very little perks this time. But I do like the character and bundle. And the artists who did the promos for some of the addon characters are amazing, some of the best promos I've seen!

I thought it was pretty good all things considered...and I'm usually nit-picky. I was very happy to not have the same "pick-through-this-same-list-of-Daz-Originals-I've-already-picked-through-and-there's-nothing-left-I-could-possibly-ever-want-or-use" offer...
I'd rather have more of a discount off the bundle than the same list of free crap I don't want over and over.
