Actually I wouldn´t mind there is anything to discuss about the Artstudio. It was always the section I liked the most here at the forum. To see what other people can do was always inspiration. And it was the only way before the gallery was online here at DAZ3D.
You will find the same images in my gallery and in my artstudio. To me it´s just two different ways to share what I have done so far.

For others who haven't gotten the feel of it all yet- In addition to WIPS and finished works and discussions, the art studio is also where friends chit chat about what they find and then share renders of things they buy. Or we render then answer questions about what was used. It helps us be aware of what's offered.
...I agree with Slosh about the galleries, not just because of the sheer amount of work submitted, but the frequency of submissions as well. I too do not find much of an attraction to just go there on my own without some form of prompting (again a link in a thread or mention by a community member).
Over on DA there are many groups that either centre on a certain genre and/or split their galleries into specific themes, I find that so much more useful than the options given in the Gallery here. I also feel, for my own purposes, part of the incentive to submit to the galleries was lost when they no longer were considered a "challenge". Back then I would never submit anything unless I felt it was my absolute best (and certainly, not everything I submitted there was accepted either).
Even before the changeover two years ago, I rarely bothered with my "personal" gallery considering all the challenges (which offered prizes or were just for fun) and themed submission threads that were active at the time as well as the "Art Zone".
Here's more from the Art Studio that caught my attention- drop a comment to these artists if you have time :) It's only a small sample too- so many good threads and I can't get through all of them.

Lovely images you collected there Novica, and I am certainly honored seeing my name up there ^^
Anyone can add to it as they cruise through the Art Studio threads. :) I try to remember to go in once a month and see what else has been added that's really eye-catching. It's slowed down a bit during the holidays in some of the threads (like mine, lol.)

Okay, last trip through the Art Studio was November 30th, 2014, so I'm doing a quick trip through to showcase some of the new art that's been posted in December-March. (Whew.) Since it's been so long, instead of only one render from each artist, there may be several, but definitely not everything that is outstanding from one person. People who post more often will obviously have more representation here.
This will only be a "get you started" look.
Take note there is a Non-Photorealistic Render thread that you can also post your NPR's to.
I've also included links to specific products that were showcased, such as SereneNight's Zev0's tongue control.

I had considered posting something to the Gallery proper, but decided against it. I'm already posting in two places: my wfs renders go to the Art Studio, and I post everything to my deviant art account. I couldn't be bothered opening up a third place to post to. Even though there's a lot of interesting stuff in the Gallery.
When I want to look at other people's work, I check basically the same places - the Art Studio and deviant art.
