I'm trying to see what you're talking about and don't see it, Jaki.
Look at the name of the product: "Modern Military Outfit Texture Pack ((Inactive>>rolled intobase))"
It says ((Inactive>>rolled intobase)) - and it lists some of the same "what's included" as the main outfit does: https://www.daz3d.com/modern-military-outfit-for-genesis-8-males
So it looks like it was probably (as the name says) "rolled into" the base product and probably shouldn't have gone live in the store. That would be my guess.
Oh, I thought you guys meant the same gobbledy gook from the textures was on the base. Yeah, I'll contact QA.
https://www.daz3d.com/sci-fi-abandoned-outpost does not have an artist listed. Not sure if it should be Polish or a DAZ Original (listed on http://docs.daz3d.com/doku.php/public/read_me/index/70959/start ). If it is meant to be a DO, it isn't tagged as such and doesn't have the PC discount. Might just be meant as a Polish item though.
Sorry Cris, forgot the screenshot. Yes, as Diva says, the main base outfit talks about the materials included, but the add on texture pack says the same thing so I'm just wondering if the product description needs to be fixed. It also says in teh main blurb about 3 different country flags materials which is also duplicated in teh texture pack.

Regarding the Modern Military Outfir and the "texture" pack. I'm starting to think it's not supposed to be a texture pack but rather a add on pack as the accessories (the combat vest and belts) is not part of the base outfit, but it's seemingly part of the "texture" pack. What is annoying is the fact that on the small thumbnail in smart content, those accessories are part of the figure :/
When I bought the product I was confused that it wasn't mentioned in the included items, yet as it claimed to be a full outfit for a spec op I genuinly assumed it was just another mistake and that the two products /base and "texture" were supposed to be one and the same, so I took a chance, considering that I highly doubt you will find a spec op team going into any jobs without their vests and full equipment :/ alas I was disapointed in that regard :( I still like the outfit itself but not sure I will keep now that it's clearly no complete and the "texture"/add on pack is dazCentral only as well as claiming to be inactive and all that. (can't really afford buying it either for a while)

I honestly think it started out as one product, and then daz bought it out and split it up into two products (based on the original product description which obviously didn't get fixed when that happened)
You are probably right Jaki, personally I feeling kinda cheated though I admit I probably shouldn't have assumed. Still feels rather... meh
Edit - also re-reading the text for the "texture" pack.. /quote it says provides five additional textures for the Modern Military for Genesis 8 Male and Female outfit. /endquote
And of course, the text for "texture" pack doesn't mention anything about extra props, so yeah.. this is a one heck of a mess right now

It's a scarf actually, don't think it's shown in any of the promo pics for some reason. In real it's used in different ways, both to protect the head from heat or cold (according to what i read mind you) and as a scarf around the neck. In this product you can only use it as a scarf it seems, as I did not find any morphs to wrap it around the head

The discount with Kwan 8 seems to have gone wobbly. The Build a Cyborg Bundle was free, but now it isn't with Kwan, it goes to $0 if I add in any of the other todays Bundles. Tried refreshing and logging out/in - just not working with Kwan.
Sci-Fi Abandoned Outpost is totally abandoned... no artist create it.

We've reported this, but presently believe it's brokered so would be 30%.
On the Readme it says the Author is DAZ Original, but looking at directory folder names the PA is certainly Polish.
Another thing about https://www.daz3d.com/modern-military-outfit-for-genesis-8-males that isn't mentioned: it comes with a hand gun. You can see it on the promo render on the right hip in the holster, but it isn't mentioned in the description and there are no other renders of it. But it is listed in the what's included section and the read me's file list, along with a default texture.
It does seem this product was scrapped together rather hastily, but does look like a nice, complete set. It's just poorly presented.
Ok so this sale is AWESOME! Mega excited to buy, but is it best to wait until the issue is fixed with the Modern Military Texture Pack? As has been reported, it's listed on the sales page as part of the Aliens Vs. Troopers bundle but it isn't actually listed as part of the bundle if you click into the bundle product page + if you try and view it individually the link is broken.
Safe to buy on assumption that once fixed it will come through to product library, or best to hang back on purchase until fixed?

You're right! :-) Tthe Cyborg Bundle was £0 when I added it, so I didn't notice my mistake. Must have been a glitch about the time I added it. Now the Kwan 8 deal doesn't look as good as it did with just Kwan ;-)
The texure pack was, as the name implies on the sales page (inactive>>rolled into base), rolled "back" into the main product. As someone previously stated, it seems like Daz tried to break the original product up into base and texture expansion sets but then relented. Unfortunately the store doesn't seem to like that and now we have the "ghost" texture pack showing up. If you check out the read me file list for the outfit, you'll see it does in fact include the 5 additional textures that Daz tried to break out into the texture pack addon.

I forgot in my initial post to address your "advice most appreciated" request, so my advice is - if it suits your fancy, pick it up! It looks great, has lots of features, and even if there are issues with the "two" products currently, I think Daz *will* fix them. Also see my note above - there's a sidearm included that is barely referenced in the product. So you not only get the rifle but a hand gun, too!
That's not incompatible, most Daz Originals are PA creations purchased by Daz.

Thep roblem is, that it ISN'T complete. The vest and some of the other accessories that is apparently part of the "texture" pack, is Not part of the base Modern Military Outfit (unless it's been included sometime during these hours I've been away, haven't opened the program to check for an update, but I kinda doubt that). The handgun and the rifle is part of the base pack though, which is nice. I just wish that the product was in fact Complete, even mor so now that the "Texture" pack doesn't seem to exist in the store anymore (claims to be free on the page but htrows up a 404 when trying to look at it)
Wait so the base outfit doesn't come with the vest and gear, but the texture pack contains them? So essentially you need both to have a complete geared out military outfit?
