Those who own "Brutal Weapons & Poses for Genesis 3"  check your messages inbox as there is a purple banner for an extra discount off the new Genesis 8 version - it may not be showing at the top of the site if you are also getting a purple banner for having a certain amount of products in the new Walk the Plank bundle and getting a discount for that. Is there something missing with PW customizable Pirate ship? DIM Download tells me only 3 of 4 parts are available. Manual download tells the same. File 1 of 4 is missing.

I really like the look of the PW customizable Pirate Ship, but I have to admit it feels odd calling it a pirate ship when there is no pirate flag to put on the ship (unless i missed something when checking promos and what's included of course)

Today's banner has certainly answered a lot of the prayers that have been popping up in the forums since Valentino's release -- a new pirate ship, more accessories, and the return of Luthbel with a truly EPIC unisex outfit! Small thing to flag is that the third promo on dForce Giuro Vendetta HD for Genesis 8 has text saying "female morph examples" but while I don't want to pigeonhole anyone I'm pretty sure those are not female characters in the image, haha. 

  Anyway, today will be a happy Saturday for lots of people! Thanks for listening to us, Daz and PAs! 

 

Oh, also, not a complaint but I feel like I must be misunderstanding something re the purple banners lol...

It's just occured to me with the mega size of the Treasure Island bundle, I've got a 25% off purple banner and it seems it is calculated on the basis of the number of items you already own from the bundle rather than the value of the items you already own in the bundle (I own 8 out of 30; 8 is approx 26% of 30)... so would that not mean somebody who owns Valentino, Sahira, HMS Victory, FG Pirate Cabin, the Pirate Cove + 3 outfits would get 25% discount off the $97.28 bundle price BUT so would a person who owns 6 add-on textures and two prop sets? Or am I missing an important detail here? Because one of those deals sounds waaaaay better than the other lol

Issue with Staff Picks Cornucopia Free Starter Bundle Offer.

I have carted three "Staff Pics Cornucopia" new releases in order to get a SELECT starter bundle free.  My free bundle select is "FIENDS FOREVER STARTER BUNDLE" and it's not carting as free.  There are three NON-Daz Originals starter bundles within the 29 bundles to choose from.  I have the other two so this is the only NON-Daz Originals bundle I don't have. 

Is this particular NON-DAZ Originals bundle included in error in the free starter bundle selection?

The 10% discount on each item is due to the inclusion of both Giuro Vendetta products released on Saturday.

True, but why would someone have purchased the textures and not the outfits they go on? With all the discounts and get X free with Y offrs from previous deals I would suspect that trying to do a discount on the amount paid rather than number of items used would be hugely imprctical.

50% off featured artists is normal, 50% entire store is very rare. You decide if you want to wait for another sale, because as the thread title goes, there's always another one :)

My 25% off is basically from owning 4 outfits with 4 add on textures, so it's a great deal for me, versus if I owned the higher price items like the G8 characters

I'd prefer that general items such as Catherine HD and Z All Male Energy Shapes and Pose Mega Set be released on a separate day from themed sales and get a "New Faces" or "Everday Items" promotion of their own.

Being released during a pirate-themed sale (despite having nothing to do with pirates) means that the associated deals aren't very interesting to me (because I don't have a use for pirate-themed items at the present time).

The gift card sale today does offer an alternative deal - which is good - but a nice discount for buying several general items at once would probably be more enticing.

The pirate bundles are working now.... the Return to Treasure Island bundle, I own 36% of the products but the purple banner says "since I own 25%" I can get 25% off............ SIGH

They're working fine. My browser autofilled my email with a missing character in the domain name and stupidly I didn't notice.

I've purchased textures I've seen go on a deeply discounted sale if they go with a bundle that I hope to pick up for a good price or as a freebie-with-purchase later.

I own both Valentino and Sahira Pro bundles. That gives me 13/30 items of this new bundle. And got a purple banner for 50% discount with coupon. So this time, unlike with the sci-fi staff pick bundle, it seems to consider owning a couple of the most expensive items, or at least is roundng to the closets cut (25/50/75). The bad thing is that this time it requires a coupon, i don't like that.

Ah, that's good to know  It didn't sound right to me that someone could have one outfit and an accessory from the bundle items and be offered the same "2 out of 30" % discount as someone who owned Valentino and Sahira. I think it's cool that Daz have taken feedback on board, it seems, and started issuing these "scaling" discounts with bundles when users already own some items. It makes the difference for me anyway!

IIRC the total *after* discount must be $50 or more for that code. I used it a while back and I think that's how it worked. It's not very intuitive.

Edit: Also, some Daz discounts stack, so if you watch the sales the next few days, you might be able to get a *much* better price on those items if they're part of a promotion and you also use the coupon.

Looking at the code in the screenshot, the codes referenced are the single-use codes sent to new users: 30% off any order, 40% off an order of $30 or more, and 50% off an order of $50 or more.

But as I said, when I used the codes, the total *after* discount seemed to be what was checked to determine validity.

I'd guess that the codes work once for anyone - I got the email, but the codes are posted on *many* coupon sites.
