Cottage Props has misleading required products. You do NOT have to own the building and interior to use those props. This makes it seem like that product will only work with the REQUIRED products. Required means it won't work without it, and this is not the case.

On the other side of the coin Old Crone's Home is required to use the preloads included in the product:

    What's Included and Features

    • Cottage Props (.DUF)
    • CP OCH Full Preload
    • CP OCH Load Downstairs
    • CP OCH Load Upstairs

When there are presets that require other items, DAZ has listed the other items as required as far as I can remember, since they don't have an "only required for some of the product" field. However, usually I see something in the item description that clarifies the items are only required for the presets. That would be a helpful clarification to add to the product page.

Goldie and the Bears all show as 100% off when I bring up the page.

They don't show as free if placed in the shopping cart.

That's normal when your local Cloudflare server hasn't yet completely updated with the new store items, prices and discounts sent out after DAZ!midnight. The delay has been getting steadily longer since DAZ started using Cloudflare — IIRC in the beginning it was averaging about 10-15 minutes, but for the last year or so it's frequently been more than an hour. Hopefully the major overhaul that's in the works will fix this.

urban cyber street magic promo does not give me 75% off when I select 5 items

    The offer states:

    40% OFF¥ Featured Artist Stores

Buy any new release to get 50% OFF¥*

Buy any 3 or more “Urban Cyber” New Releases along with up to 5 Featured Artist Items to get an EXTRA 50% OFF¥* those Featured Artist Items

¥ Discount excludes new releases and PC+ Items.
    * Items must be in cart simultaneously for discount to apply.

To get the full 75% off, there must be three or more new releases from the Urban Cyber promotion, (50% stacking with 50%.)

As you didn't include a screenshot, I have to ask

    1. Do you have 3 new releases from that sales page in the cart? If so…
    2. Are there 5 or fewer items from the featured artists in your cart? If so…
    3. Are these items new or PC+?

If there is fine print to this, then it's misleading. Or confusing. Or poor marketing...?

Scroll down for the "fine Print".

Farther down it says 50% off, not 70%. Makes no sense at all.

So one new release gets you 50% off, 3 or more of the "Urban Cyber" new releases plus up to 5  Featured Artist items gives you an extra 50% off the 5 items, for 75% in total.

  • Phew. I will definitely get the Linday/Mousso products. And the OutofTouch hair. But I don't know if I will get them now. Corona is definitely not affecting price policy it seems. Sure the bundle does have two outfits and two figures. But having to buy three items for an additional 10% and one of them probably the bundle? I don't know but IMO those kind of sales rather lead people away from the included bundle. If I decide to get it now I probably will go for the outfits, textures & hair leaving the two figures out. Or maybe I'll wait for a better occasion.

Any particular reason Goldie & the Bears shows before today's Double Trouble bundle?

I was wondering about that too. I almost missed seeing the new sale today.

Looks like Daz has started putting the newest offer in the second slot. Currently, second banner is a Build Your Own Flash Sale - 65% Off up to 5 Select Items with purchase of a Build Your Own New Release. Sorry, not interested.

Not sure how they are sorted, it might be that they forgot to set the sort order on this one so it always appears first.

I quite agree. Have to spend a minimum of $13.27 on something I don't need or want just to qualify.  I'd have to add that to the final cost of the items in the bundle. Not worth it.

Look at it this way: the average flash sale if 60% off. This is an extra 5% off. Does that extra 5% cover the cost of a new item? If it does, then it's a great sale.

And all the items were carefully selected to avoid stacking with the other sales. So 65% is not that much.

  • Was just about check out and noticed the intro price for the Super Hero Suit for G8F by Smay has gone away and the item is at full price in my cart and in the store.

    Anybody else seeing that?

I see it, too. I recall reading posts about discounts being temporarily disabled (until the server cache resets) whenever Daz adjusts an item in the store - perhaps that's what happened here.

    The same in my cart.

By the way, the only limit on the number of Flash carts you can build is the number of qualifying items available, 9.  If you snagged one of the double discountrd GCs the other day at the 44% off price, that takes the effective discount on the cart items from 65% off to 77% off, which is pretty snazzy.

You could purchase the same new item more than once. Click the Purchased button and buy it again.

True, but at that point the additional cost of duplicte items would significantly reduce the effective discount.

  • In case anyone else encounters this issue... I just noticed that my cart changed prices between the authorization page and the receipt page. I authorized for $52, but got charged $95.

Almost didn't notice it until I spotted my store credit went down more than it should have.

Oh, I wish you hadn't pointed this out. :-)   Only wanted two items and putting them on separate orders will drop the 20% off those new items.  However, the Monthly PA (Save6) Coupon makes up for that so Thanks!

These kind of flash sales are also a good opportunity to grab certain products that aren't on sale often, or when they are they're usually 40-50% off max.

I am not interested in any of the qualifying products. I will just wait for a sale without an Admission Price, at a time when I have more disposable income.

What's the best way (if there is one) to look for a specific type of product like Hair within the "Featured Items" for a Flash Sale? It seems using the provided filters like I can only narrow it down to over 1000 products I have to look through for g8 Female, for example...
