    It looks like a lot of different things in the Build Your Own Flash Sale have suffered a significant decrease in their available discounts. All the items item I looked at earlier today are now at least twice as high than they were earlier.

    What happened? My whole cart changed prices! So sick of building carts then having to dump it because of random price changes in the middle of the day. Makes me want to stop shopping here altogether.

    some of the daz original hairs were at 58% yesterday when the sale began - they've changd to the standard 30% (for pc members) now. I think that's what she is saying.

    ok, so the new Internation Beer Day sale (really??), it's a 'buy a new release and get up to 75% off libation products OR get the discounts off the vehicles".  The Libation products have no discounts if I have three vehicles in there (and they are disocunting correctly), but if i take out the vehicles then the libation products discount correctly.

    I see them at full price. Their sale ended mid-day. Probably pulled because they stacked with other sales but the prices had been 50% off for at least 12 hours since turnover. Once something is in your cart and it's WAY after turnover, it shouldn't change prices.

    Hmmm.  I may have to pick up a sci-fi teleportation pad and drop it in the corner somewhere.  I was going to pick it up for the furniture and didn't notice the lack of entrance/exits but now I'm having second thoughts.

    Wonderland's screenshots have the times captured, and there's clearly a price change. I've noticed it, too - items jumping between 65% to 30% discounts. It's annoying - building a good Daz cart takes time, which is wasted when prices change suddenly for the worse.

    Unfortunately, I didn't take screenshots to demonstrate the point - I worked last night and had little time to browse Daz. Jessaii's items were among the affected IIRC. GeeSee3D's, too, I think.

    DAZ needs to set specific time length for sales. Like 75% off until 11am on 7/7/7070 ... how hard is that to type and program?

    Can't be that hard: Renderosity does it for every sale and coupon.

    For the up-and-down prices yesterday, I'd settle for a simple "We screwed something up and had to fix it. Apologies for that - we'll try to do better in the future!" I'm not too upset about the items - as last time they were simply "nice-to-haves". But a recognition of the need to improve - and confirmation that it's a priority - would go some ways toward making up for the hassle.

    I would have made a purchase last night ($117 cart), but the shifting prices had me considering swapping some items. Then the rollover hit and prices for some items skyrocketed, so this morning I just cleared the cart. Daz's loss - nothing was vital to my projects, and there are sales elsewhere that *don't* waste my time.

    It's been this way forever, despite periodic outcrys on the forums. Don't expect it to change. If you really feel strongly about it, turn in a ticket. With very few exceptions, Daz does not read or monitor the forums, so any input here is simply tossed into the wind to no effect.

    That must be why we don't see any people in the promo images - nobody can get in. It's easier to keep clean and tidy that way.

    No, it's just DAZ's continued lack of proper English.  If there'd been an "or" in between the libation and vehicle promotional text, everything would have been immediately clear, yet they failed to use it in all three places where the two offers are listed side by side and buried the qualifier in the small text.

    I tried too. Just a minute ago. No luck. I was trying to get a French Quarter item with Carabelle and one of the hair items. It's not coming up as free!

    I don't know how you did it. I trie a few different items from the "Hair" section on the sale page and NONE of them were free.

    Since no one from Daz said anything about my issue, I pulled the items out of the cart & put my money back in my pocket.

    I'm under too much stress to fight with people to GIVE them MY money.
