    I really, really like the hair products in the pro bundle :) ... in addition to all the other items I already wrote about before :)

    Yes, Adorable Aiko 6 is out tomorrow. ;)...and this is why I keep some powder dry for the 'Oh, and one more thing...' day. :)

    On an entirely different note, I want to call something out.

    A long time ago, there was a thread about what folks like and don't like in bundles/pro-packs, what-have-you. One of the things that was brought up was that it would be awesome for theme-appropriate props/environments to be included in the Pro pack.

    I think that huge...wait for it...props are due to DAZ for the Asian Prop Set and listening to the feedback. It's thematically appropriate, and it is the first time that I can recall a prop set coming with a character bundle.

    So if you put the Pro Bundle (at $124.95 base price) in your cart, on the actual shopping cart screen you should see the price at $41.63. (If you've kept your PC coupon, you can bring that down to $35.63...)

    I like her a lot.
    I like the stylised body shape with the over long legs, and personally I really can't see any similarity to the Girl 6.

    No, that shouldn't be 62%. Discounts multiply, they don't add-up.

    Take the pro bundle for example.
    Base price is $124.95.
    Intro discount removes 30% of that price => intro price is $87.47.
    Punch discount is applied after intro discount and so removes 32% of intro price, not of the base price => end price is $59.47, which is 47,6% of the base price => your total discount on the base price is 52.4%, not 62%.
    (You'd get the same result if you apply punch discount before intro discount).

    edit:
    Btw you won't see the result of the punch discount on the product page or mini cart, only in the full cart.
    If you see 51% off on product page that's the result of PC and intro discount. The price you see in your cart should be lower.

    Fisty, I expect it didn't make it into a bundle because they knew pretty much everyone would grab it up on its own. I just wish it had been available today :D

    Ok, oddly enough, the price is now showing up correctly in my cart. Not sure what happened.

    As usual it was presented in a very unclear manner...when I see a + sign, take that at face value. The banner clearly says Intro Price + punch discounts. That is inherently misleading.

    Either way, the Pro Bundle is showing up in my cart for $41.64 and with my monthly coupon, I can get it for $35.64 - not a bad deal in the end!

    The percentages don't add. You multiply them. The Pro Bundle is 124.95 so to calculate your discount you do the following:

    124.95 x .7 = 87.47 (Intro Discount Price)
    87.47 x .68 = 59.48 (Countdown 2 Summer Discount Price)
    If you are a PC member you would do the following
    59.48 x .7 = 41.63 (PC Discount Price)

    That's how you calculate your discount. Each discount is applied separately. The order you apply the discounts doesn't matter, you'll get the same final result.

    Usually NEVER render a figure right off but this little girl is just precious. She does remind me allot of Aiko 3 Realistic and I used that shape the most. SO.... I did this little bit. Not very good render, I need to work on the lighting more. The shadows kinda got in the way so this is post-worked in Photoshop using the Dodge brush and some filters to bring out the colors a bit more.

    Am I correct in assuming the same sale discounts will apply tomorrow as they are today with more new releases for A6? I have always rushed to buy new Bundles on the release day only to find I could have waited one day and the same sale is still available plus there are more choices to purchase from.

    Does Aiko 6 come with the toon look that Aiko 3 came with? I cannot believe I started with Aiko 3 and now there is Aiko 6.

    It's been a year since I entered the 3D creation and my first purchase was Aiko 5, so it's a great way to celebrate by getting Aiko 6 today! :D I learned a lot by following everyone's example and taking feedback to improve myself. There's still room for improvement, but as long I'm having fun is all it matters :)

    Here's a adorable picture of Aiko! It's a bit noisy and needs to render longer but I can't wait to show it to you all early :D

    Aww, thank you. I'm glad you like her. She's a re-work of the old V4/A4 version in mine and FWDesigns' store. It's not 100% the same, obviously everything has been updated and texture resolutions and details reworked. For those that bought the V4 version, I'm hoping DAZ will implement an additional discount for those that upgrade to the newer version. No promises though..... DAZ may have a different promotion in mind.

    I would love to know about the lighting setup on the Aiko 6 base preview images. i love that lighting setup and would love to find out what it is so i can use it.

    I'll have to try to remember when I get home tonight. None of what's she's wearing is made for her so there's allot of fiddling to get it all looking pretty well. There were some poke throughs I didn't catch either so nothing better than the smudge brush in PS to get those area's covered up!

    Had to play with this girl and decided to do a line up of the characters I got for her as well.. so here it is, the light needs to be adjusted a bit so it doesn't burn out poor Lotus Flower and Aiko herself so much

    As far as Xiao Mei and the cheongsam, I assumed they'd be bundled together similar to how Eve, Wachiwi, Keshi, and several other of those collaborations had been bundled together. That's really one of the exceptionally few things out of all this that has my interest.

    Here’s a lineup, A3 at left, A6 at right. (A3 is at 108% scale for consistency.) All with flat "toon" skin and toon eyes.

    It might make more sense to compare A3 Realistic, though I never used her. ;)
