Don't know if you want to use it but I manually created a preset. Just look back a little and you'll see my try at it. It's incomplete as I didn't fill the cabinets but it should get you along the way.
Where you able to download the individual components? Classroom Environment, Class Props, Science Props, Ms. Rin, and Z Late Teen?
My guess is that the "Science Classroom Bundle" zip is just empty and wasn't intended to be added. When a bundle is added, like a Pro Bundle, you don't usually see "Pro Bundle" listed you see the individual components listed. My guess is that it was just added on accident.
or it was meant to be the preload if there was one
I do agree the props should have been split more though, those binders for example meant to fit the shelves only fit one shelf position
If you check in your Product Library, the Science Class Bundle has nothing to download in any manner. It just lists the parts which it includes, i.e. the 5 other products.
Right you are! How silly do I feel?
I had 3 files in the ~10GB that failed to download in DIM this morning, and the other 2 did download OK when I clicked on them to retry. This one did not, so like an idiot I only skimmed this thread before posting. Thanks for setting me straight lol.

ETA: Thanks for taking the time to chime in, too, @Catherine3678ab.
I've done that too and I was very proud on me, finding the red Apple texture in the texture directory and used it to change the texture on one of the apples on my own, and hoped to be able to do the same for the missing science books but unfortunately they are all made with different UVs :-(. I really hope, Daz can fix this set and not just remove it from the marketplace since I'm a big Dekogon fan, just always short on money to buy his items from other marketplaces.
That would be very cool thank you, as I am one of those that like to have the scene as it is shown in the promo's most of the time and then go from there.. It just has me stumped that the PA has all these pre made scenes of their product, and not at least supply a base set up for the props..
maybe the reason it was offered so cheaply? Considering what was included which was a huge amount you kinda expect or at least I did to be way more expensive
so just started up dim to see if there have been updates/fixes to this download problem and it's no longer there weird thing now to be downloaded is and it's not an update is nouveau vignette legacy which couldn't remember it looked it up and it's a Jack Thomalin product bought ages ago though dim says it's the legacy version and ps version
cool sentence
Stream of conciousness
Ahhh, I see that now after scanning through all the promo images. In fact, there's one render that shows both the squared cube and the twisted cube together. My initial thought is that they're the same cube; I take it the cube isn't rigged so the different "planes" of the cube can't be rotated?
What’s the deal here? Could somebody who knows update those of us who are on the fence about buying this?
(1) can all files of this product be downloaded (at least—if not DIM then at least — manually)?
(2) are there still files or props missing?
(3) do we have a PA scene file, or none yet?
it's not rigged and has no morphs.
Im curious about the shader used on the props. They use a RMA map, which is placed in a 'reflectivity' channel. I'm not familiar with this type of shader and I always wondered how to use those RMA maps because sometimes they are the only version of a map that comes with a product on third party marketplaces.
Is this the correct way of doing that?
I combed through my installed props and the "what's included" from the promo pages, and off hand, everything is there. The missing props being discussed are from what is shown in the promo images. However it is not uncommon for folk to use props, etc. from other other products. For the money this is an excellent buy. I mean really the bundle came up less expensive than any one of its parts. Also the PC coupon [if you haven't alreay used it] can be applied :-)
Thanks for the info. No doubt a great buy (I got the math end of things without getting helped on that). I just like to know exactly what I am getting into (how much of a hassle things are) before I jump into things. And yes, I also know one can always return stuff, but I might not have time to comb thru everything to figure out if I got shafted before the 30 days return policy elapses (that's happened to me more than once ..... arghhhh). So, I've got good reasons for asking. Thanks for the clarification =)
You're welcome. Not everybody reading these posts searches all the possibilities before hitting the place order button ;-)
I figured for myself that considering the price, we got a LOT of props! I found that by copying down the location information of say a cupboard door, loading a prop meant to be placed on said cupboard door - changing its location by adjusting that x,y, z info got it near enough to manually see it so it could be manually positioned as desired. Then saved a pose file for it :-) There is one PA scene file to load the actual room.
Now I haven't bought this set (not sure I'd ever use it, though I was tempted by the price) but has anyone noticed that there is (unusually) a ReadMe for the Bundle which shows a whole pile of content (including the missing microscope and molecules) and also two things called "Science Classroom Daytime" and "Science Classroom Nightime, which may or may not be preload sets? (Though they could just be lighting presets.) Maybe there should be a Bundle downoad?
ReadMe filelist is here.
I have a microscope and molecules. But nothing indicating for daytime or nightime {unless it's hiding someplace}.
Made a few icons which I used to replace their counterparts. I like icons that indicate what the product is. Putting them here if anybody else wants them too, help yourself.
I decided I would like a solved cube, and I was somewhat surprised when I saw the UV layout - it was from from obvious which side that was where. I mean, I think most when starting with UV unwrapping learns how to unwrap a cube
It was a little puzzle (!) to solve that, but I got it done.
I have included the texture if any is interested.
When I looked at the UV it was obvious that it was intended for rigging, so I would try that too. I have never done much rigging in Daz, as I find it a little cumbersome. Although getting it rigged isn't too bad, but you has to be carefull with how much you twist it and how close it will be on the camera, as there will come holes between the layers.
I don't know anything about rigging, so I tried a different way..
I used the geometry tool to cut the cube in three slices. In fact, I used three loaded cubes and reduced them to one slice - Up, Middle and Bottom - which I could then move and turn as I wanted. Made two copies of the Top slice, reduced scale to 98% and coloured them both black. These were then moved down to fill the gaps.. It's what I would call the "Dummy way to get s solution" as I still don't know anything about modelling or rigging or whatever and I am too lazy to learn.. so I just use my own imagination to figure out how to achieve a result. Most of the time there probably are simpler solutions, but hey, as long as I get my result it's time well spent
As everyone knows, the Rubik Cube is made from black plastic with coloured stickers on the small cubes.. ;)
.
Yes, there's definitely missing a lot of the stuff listed in the ReadMe.
Sorry, was looking in the Content Library only, those folders I thought were missing are in Smart Content.
But yes, the night time preset seems to be missing...
This product is now becoming very annoying as finding out that there are things missing from it, as reading that readme filelist some there are things in there, that are nowhere to be found in what is downloaded..
These do not even exist in what DiM downloads..

/Environments/Architecture/HS Science Classroom/HS Science Classroom Daytime.png
/Environments/Architecture/HS Science Classroom/HS Science Classroom Nighttime.duf
/Environments/Architecture/HS Science Classroom/HS Science Classroom Nighttime.png
Instead this is all that we get in the DiM download..
/Environments/Architecture/HS Classroom Environment/HS Classroom Environment.duf
/Environments/Architecture/HS Classroom Environment/HS Classroom Environment.png
I did find that there are night time textures for the classroom, but that there is no preset to make use of these textures..
/Runtime/Textures/Tesla3DCorp/HS Science Classroom/CLUT_Classroom_Night_01a.jpg
/Runtime/Textures/Tesla3DCorp/HS Science Classroom/CLUT_Classroom_Night_02a.jpg
So makes me wonder what else is missing from this product..
I can't wait to buy this bundle!
I wouldn't go as far as to say it was disappointing as it only cost me $12
so by any stretch still a bargain
the fact it is incomplete is a bit of a shame but not a dealbreaker to anyone considering it
one can use the classroom perfectly without the props too and put others in, the bundle was not much more and you got a character and poses so worth it for that alone
I did buy it as it was something that I had been after and it has some good parts about it, but reading that file list it has me wondering why the class nightime files do not exist in what DiM downloads..
So, does it need to be upgraded, or is it going to stand as is?
one would have to ask DAZ, I am personally too lazy to file a ticket but others may have
never mind...
