    BIG question:

    i now have V6 and M6. Yaay!

    BUT...

    ..I have some PowerAge V4/M4 armor that would be PERFECT for mortal kombat!

    Is there any way I can get something that will let V6 use V4 stuff, and M6 use M4 stuff?

    Otherwise I'm not going to bother downloading it...

    most of it autofits. shoes and hairs are iffy. v4 clothes looks cute on m6. :)

    @misty and Lee: Thnks! I'll try the normal first, then get the plugin for the trickier bits.. PLUS.. V4 for Gen2 is ON SALE EIGHT BUCKS!!!

    Good thing about DAZ content - no content management headaches.

    Bad thing - 3/4 of my content is RDNA or Rendo - so content management headache. I have to consider how to organize - AGAIN.

    You can select what downloads and installs and leave the rest. And you have the option of hiding the item(s) in the Ready to Download list so the ones you don't want don't show up and clutter the view. For the most part, the DIM turns out to be a pretty nice tool. Especially so if you're starting fresh, which I did because I upgraded to Windows 7 Pro and had to reinstall everything anyway.

    I think there is a tutorial or two out there on how to create the MetaData files for things not bought from DAZ3D. Maybe on ShareCG. There are even a few MetaData files for download, but they're for items you may or may not have.

    @Dana - I'm going to play around over the next 2 weeks, and see how far I can get. Should be interesting.

    Time to clean up! The local dive bar has live music tonight, and FREE CHILI DOGS after 5PM! Hard to argue with cheap beer and free chili dogs!!!

Why buy a item a second time if you have it already was my view. I did not know you had never gotten the Genesis things so carry on. But as pointed out many things you have bought in the past will work just as well or better in the New DAZ Studio. And I myself only have so much money to toss around on my hobby. Still looking forward to the Music thing...

    ...the Daz one, First you need to save a version of her as a .duf before loading into Carrara. The Poser version will load but distorts badly when posing as Carrara uses Daz's TriAx weight mapping and not Poser's.
