...would be here but too broke this weekend. Can't even get a lotto ticket.

Bank still has not credited me for the cancelled bill (still in "pending" status after three days) and weekend to boot so won't see any activity until probably Monday..

Could really use a couple cold ones today, going to be 95° and near 100° tomorrow.

Plus Germany is playing Argentina in the championship round tomorrow. How can one cheer on Germany without beer?

You suspect she was becoming unhinged? ... ;-)

    Odd...I can't...pin it down. :) ...
Sounds like she has a... handle... on it now <(^_^).</div>

Maybe we should "shut the door" on this conversation? :-P

Came home from visiting Dad to see a itty bitty gecko running down the hall. I tried to catch the little guy so I can put him back outside but he scurried under a large antique ice box. No way am I moving that sucker to get a tiny lizard; I'm worried that would hurt him. So for now, he's in hiding. Hopefully, the dog leaves it alone. Think this is the first time a lizard has been in the house since we got her, so I don't know how she'd react.

Also, Gecko, tell your little associate to slip out of the house before the dog finds him.

...nope. Going to be a long hot weekend as well. Won't see my next influx of cash until Tuesday.

Can't even get a Frappachino at the corner Starbucks.

Soft drinks don't cut it either as they all are loaded with that ebil HFCS and I don't do fake sweeteners, they're just as bad if not worse.

Crikey, banks are quick to deduct charges from your account, balance, but when it comes to adding a credit, they move as slow as molasses on a January night in Fairbanks.

Does anyone here know where the DIM "Installed" database resides? ... I'm in the situation where my (previously downloaded and installed) content directory has been lost due to hard-drive failure, and I'd like to reset DIM's Installed list completely. Fortunately my downloads (all the IM0000xxxx*.zip files) are stored on a separate drive, so they don't need re-downloading - just convincing DIM that I've got _nothing_ installed.

(I'm not certain I want to try the "Uninstall" button for these products that (now) no longer exist, but if that's the only way...).

EDIT: nvm - did a "Select Software" and "Select Plugins", then "Invert selection"... and now wiping everything else (^_^).

And this is one of the many reasons I was not really sold on DIM when it was first being talked about.

I'm still ambivalent about it... the convenience (in bulk downloading) is certainly a drawcard for me - and this bulk uninstall seems to be going through okay (takes awhile to deal with 8000+ products O.O)... v(^_^)v. Heh, I guess I do like it after all - I wish it would handle Rendo ZIPs as well X). I'm also quite confident about it's bulk-install process (although I can certainly set up a batch file to unzip things, knowing that DIM knows about special paths for plugins etc is reassuring).

Part of it is my dislike of the Content Manager... too much of my content isn't DAZ material, and needs to be easily organized for both Studio and Poser (just did the upgrade to PP14), to the extent that material is usable in both programs. And I never did like the 'official' category system. And part of it is the 'what happens if something goes wrong?' If I'm downloading and testing one item at a time, I KNOW where the problem is. If a bulk system is doing it, I might not figure out what went wrong, or even that something DID go wrong.

I used to have many geckos playing around my front porch but I haven't seen any this year. I miss those little guys. I still have lizards though.

Little gecko update - he's now back outside running free. He crawled into the dog's water bowl sometime this morning and then couldn't get out. Fiance went to check on her bowls and found him, so he took the little guy to our backyard where we have our flower garden. So he's now safe from the dog.

We have gecko's and skinks running around our backyard and our yucca plants in the front. I guess they like our house.

Little leezards are cool - we had a few in Austin. So far no leezards in Tulsa, they're probably all hiding in the shade somewhere! :bug:

8:15AM, time for coffee and breakfast, then it's INSTALL CONTENT DAY! I found some underwater backdrops so maybe the turtle can get a better scene to eat Mike in (heh).

Leftovers today - curry chicken, 2 egg rolls, and a hot and sour soup! Yummy times! :)

Time to get dressed and head for Whataburger for coffee.. urgh..

My daughter's bird dog (German Short-haired Pointer) loves to chase lizards along our back fence here in Austin. I've only had 2 cups of coffee so far. No newspaper when I got up, but it has already been redelivered and read. Statesman is always skimpy on news. Now I'm ready to get another coffee, get dressed, and empty a bedroom. Troutface, please keep the Tulsa heat up there. We don't want it.

So far, our little Shih Tzu ignores the lizards when she goes outside. But she'll chase cats, birds and icky possums, when they all outweigh her. I'm worried what will happen if she caught one as it's all bluster on her part.

My weatherworking abilities suck, so don't *literally* sweat it (lololol)!

Going to hide indoors all day, it's open mic at 4PM at the club so I might run over for a cold beer and music.. last Sunday was decent but according to the bartender it's a crapshoot. I apparently missed the guy with the singing dog... :bug:
