is there a way to convert a game scene into a movie/picture ?
well I used shadowplay
I set it to 1920 x 1080 in editor and play in standalone game
I also go into the level blueprint and add a press esc brick and a quit game brick link and compile it
often I add a beginplay brick linked to a DisableAllScreenMessages console command brick too if getting lighting messages I cannot rebuild completely
otherwise you add a camera and set up a cinematic sequence to render
each had advantages and disadvantages
need to read tutorials as too much for me to explain and my sequences don't always render as expected
thank you wendy
now put some events into your nice looking walking sim
like opening a door or crate and get some stuff
is there an inventory blueprint to get from the shop ?
I have piles of them but am too dumb to use them!
Epic gives away free assets every month as well as a permanently free collection and it included interactive blueprints of all sorts.
I was thrilled just to discover how to link pressing a key to changing which character mesh I used or making a sound, simple stuffs
permanently free

one I used that video, I had to add collision to the floor base piece

another video all from the same project of several combined assets
I some others post stuff too
Not technically a full render, but here's an animation test done in UE with the Calcarian character exported with the UE Bridge, animation is live-linked from Motionbuilder.
Had to tweak the textures a bit, and will have to play around with adding the character specific JCM's to the post-process blueprint, but I'm liking this bridge, especially since now I can get a higher quality mesh in my fbx exports, which is very handy
edit.. double weird post
very cool Bryan
Thank you Wendy, your stuff is absolutely cool too!
I'll play
Tris count is 807,935, there are 149 texture images ranging in res from 2k to 8k 175 material instances 146 material ID's Nvidia 1050ti 32 gigs memory 6 year old I7 (no idea the model number) 182 bones including facial clusters.
a run in the park
Jogging Simulator 2020 :)
Nice.
just downloaded the green park yesterday
its free
and really nice with lots of assets
yes the freebies are awesome
make sure you don't miss monthly ones
this Viking Village I bought in a sale
I have a similar Faveral one and also Unity one as a cooked demo
between all three (the Unity one as Shadowplay captured Backgrounds) I should be able to do a Viking Saga one day
Trying to get realtime motion capture working in UE, here's what I've done so far :)
she looks nice
I use Nvidia Shadowplay and play in a standalone game 1080p
more with Twinmotion renders of another village interspersed between
as I add characters it is getting decidingly heavy
Vlad in the Viking Raider crashed it a few times but he is finally there too
there is a cool log cabin in this month's free assets
oh wow this set is awesome
$149 now but I got it free
