Thanks for the render. Did you turn up the bump on her face, or does she come like that?
So sweet! Nice styling too.
You should get the DAZ-Deals browser extension then. You can hide unwanted products from appearing. I use this for hiding starter bundles or PA-bundles where I already own the parts of. Comes with a ton of additional features like % discount info in the cart or the options to only show wishlisted products in listings or only show owned stuff. Highly recommended.
I think they'll be back but they've decided to do this because they were starting to really rack up a large number of Pro Characters. Anyway, they have to do the Pro Characters because that' how they sell the anatomical elements.
All I did was applied the materials and the normal map, I didn't play around with any of the settings otherwise.
If you use store credit, yes; if you pay up-front, then no, you're paying $54, with some included items available from tomorrow; you don't get them now, but have to wait for them. That would be a big no if I didn't use store credit.
I second this sentiment. I am fortunate enough to be able to keep a positive balance of store credit that I use to budget my monthly Daz3D purchases. Using gift cards, the store credit is acquired at a discount. With my bank's savings rates so low at the moment, I'm not giving up much by maintaining a positive Daz3D balance in terms of interest foregone in my savings account. Keeping all of that in mind for me, Daz returning $10 or $20 dollar in store credit tomorrow is a genuine discount. Given my budget, I get more total Daz3D stuff over the course of the year with the $10 or $20 store credit. I would consider it differently if I was maintaining my Daz3D balance by borrowing on a high interest credit card, or if I didn't have a budgeted amount that I plan to spend over the course of a year.
Thanks
Here's Sukai 8, out of the box (except I used the preset that removes her tattoo and added one of her face mask geo shells).
The bundle is delightful! It's right up my alley! :D
*Edit: Color shifted Post Work version:
@3Diva Beautiful images. She certainly is cute. I like how you used the utility belt from the Marvelous Bodysuit with the Heart Breaker outfit.
Thank you! :D And yeah, the Boots and Utility Belt are from the Marvelous Bodysuit, the rest of the outfit (and magic effects) are from the HeartBreaker Outfit. :)
Very nice. :)
Really cute @3Diva
@3Diva Great render and superhero pose! The Sukai 8 Bundle was right up my alley as well, with all the excellent Asian, Cyber, Sci-Fi, and Superhero content!
hahah Thank you, but the pose is all Capsces https://www.daz3d.com/cdi-poses-for-genesis-8-female-and-sukai-8
I'm a BIG fan of the CDI pose sets - they just often seem to be a step or two above and beyond most pose sets. :) I'm really glad they were included in the bundle.
Here's another render of Sukai 8. This one is NOT out of the box - it has color and contrast post work done it Photoshop.
@3Diva I love her expression and fierce pose! She looks tough.
I attached my offering. I adjusted the light and color a bit in postwork She's wearing the Stardust tank top with Thistle Outfit pants and arm wraps and LadyLittleFox's Bunny Hair.
Hrm. Mine is a little grainy looking; not sure why.
Dawwww So cute! :D The Thistle outfit bits go great with her (I think both that outfit and the Stardust have a cool 80's vibe).
Thanks :) I think they look cute on her, too. I love the 80's, so that's awesome. If the Stardust Outfit is a nod to Marvel's Jubilee, I read that character was created in the 80's, so maybe that is why the outfit has an 80's look?
while i do know what is the "torso and cape, i would love to know what is the "crown and the bracers and "finger ornament, where they come from?
Would love to see her all done up with your NPR style, @3Diva - she looks great!
I'm with you re: Capsces' poses. I've yet to pull the trigger on this bundle, but this CDI pose set and the hair are really tempting.
- Greg
Thanks for the renders. CDI pose sets are my first stop, followed by Shimuzu & Aeon Soul & Those Things.
So would I. :( The only version of Daz Studio that renders my NPR shaders properly will no longer boot up ever since this incident: https://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/comment/5941121/#Comment_5941121
I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling it. It still won't boot up. I've been working on it for the past two weeks trying to figure out why it won't boot up, even after uninstalling it and reinstalling it. As soon as the Log gets to "Compiling OpenGL Shader" that's it, that version of Daz Studio just freezes and won't unfreeze no matter how long I wait (and trust me, I've let it sit for HOURS hoping that it would eventually unfreeze). Losing the ability to properly render my NPR shaders has been really upsetting since I had worked hard on developing the style that I was going to be rendering my comic in. It took me ages to get the "perfect" combination of render settings and different render passes with my NPR shaders that I was going to use for my comic. Now it's pretty much back to the drawing board. I'm going to have to think "outside the box", to try and get an NPR style that I like now.
@ellessarr
Crown is the Goddess Circlet by Rhiannon, over on Rendo.
Bracers are from the Zealoth Outfit with the opacity on the spikes knocked down, I assume.
I had the privilege of creating the base textures for Thorne's beautiful Sukai model ;-)

oops
Yeah, the skin is fabulous... another good blend of stylized figure and a realism with the skin that could work on others.
I do like the beauty marks/blemishes on her face quite a bit.
You did a fantastic job! She's one of my favorite base characters.
So is the body armor. The cape is from something else. Since there's no link on the store page, it's probably something on Rendo.
