A List of DeviantArt Freebies
I know most of the big places to get freebies, I think, but there seem to be so many 3d freebie artists hiding in little corners of DeviantArt. So I thought maybe we could start a list of the ones we know about. Here are people who post freebies that are either Daz and/or Poser compatable, or in OBJ format for easy importing, or possibly HDRIs.
WARNING - Some of these pages are VERY NOT SFW.
Just because I've listed them, does NOT mean I have used them (most of them I haven't), so as always, USE AT YOUR OWN RISK!

A lot of these have a "Freebies" section to make it easier, and I tried to pick people with 3 or more freebies available, although there are exceptions. And as always-

It may be worth mentioning that Noone's freebies can be 'a bit' to 'very' NSFW before anyone goes searching through them.

Are you sure ? It should* be as easy as 1 - 2- 3...
*I'm fairly sure that I changed some files before the site went all eclipse, and it should still work after the redesign, although I can't be 100% certain as I haven't tried it recently

It should be, but when I tried to replace the zip file after the redesign, after I submitted it always turned up with the old zip file. People kept reporting an issue that was fixed months before in the ShareCG version (which is why the dA version now directs people to that version).
600v makes vehicle models. Their DeviantArt pages link to their Patreon pages where many of the vehicle models are downloadable for free, as .obj's.

I wonder if there are any DeviantArt pages which have 3D buildings, such as houses and stores? Or maybe 3D neighborhoods?
And what does SFW stand for?
NSFW = Not Safe For Work so presumably SFW means Safe For Work.

This is a great idea - thanks! There are a lot of excellent freebies!
But if you have never browsed DeviantArt or other similar sites, be warned that Beyond This Point There Be Dragons! NSFW is putting it mildly sometimes. It is best to use specific search terms to find DAZ-related freebies instead of just randomly looking at stuff. As Roy Blatty said in "Blade Runner": "I've seen things you people wouldn't believe!" That which is seen cannot be unseen.
There is also a whole universe of stuff for Miku Miku Dance (MMD) and Miku Miku Moving (MMM), including expanses of stylized characters, beautiful costumes, cool props, sets, etc. There are utilities and paths to bring those into Blender for conversion. However, items tend to have a list of use rules and restrictions that may fill half a page, and a lot specify that they must be used only within MMD for non-commercial use, so in a lot of cases it is just not worth it.
Scattered among those are some actual freebies - Belle, Ariel, Charizard, Venusaur and Harley Quinn, for example. You can download those for free, without having to subscribe to the Patreon.
This is SO TRUE. That's why I put the NSFW warning, DeviantArt lives up to it's name. I wish there was a better alternative, but right now there really isn't. You just have to take the creepy with the good, unfortunately. I personally use the filtered option, that helps a ton, and I've blocked certain tags as well. I still see a whole lotta NOPE, though.

Ah, I see what you mean! Yeah, I decided to allow that, since several creators do that (MostDigitalCreations has his downloads on his own webpage, but links to it from DeviantArt, for example). It's not ideal, but since they can be found from DeviantArt, I figured it's ok. In fact, I may do that sometime in the future with my own freebies. Thanks for pointing it out, though!
Hmmmmm Kerya, I tried to link that DA page before and my post was removed. He does have some amazing stuff there and now that he is using Wrap3 most characters have fully posable faces. DA has tons of useful items in other 3d formats that are fairly easily converted to DS.
