PRZ White Tie Outfit for Genesis 8 Male

Is it just me, or do the pants and shoulders here really stand out compared to most of the male clothing available?

I've purchased all of @Protozoon's wonderful instruments, and look forward to grabbing this set as soon as I get to the office. Please make more like this!

  • Superb! I have a white-tie evening-dress suit and for once here is an item of tailored clothing that does not disappoint. Please make more suits and jackets and coats - I'll buy them all :-)

  • Yes, outstanding! One of the very few male clothing items I wouldn't mind to present my real-life partner with at an event.

  • I just wish that the mess dress textures were right. The PA went to the trouble of creating them and then didn't do the research to get the details right.

  • I'm so happy to get this. Totally awesome

Hi! I did research a lot. But unfortunately duplicating military uniforms etc. isn't legal. (For example: https://www.defense.gov/Resources/Trademarks/DOD-Trademark-Licensing-Guide/) I had an US Army enlisted sergeant preset ready (+cummerbund in the works), but couldn't include it. So it is just a generic version derived from the White Tie.

    P

PS. For a freebie add-on it would work :)

"The outfit is fully conforming with the tailcoat tails and trousers optimized for dForce."

@Protozoon , could you please elaborate?
does it mean no dforce necessary for the tailcoat, but trousers won't work without dforce?
does it mean the full outfit works fine just conforming, but looks way better with dforce?
could you specify which parts of the outfit NEED/DON'T NEED dforce?

Most of the promos aren't dforced. The jacket tails and trousers can be dforced, not necessary. The tails benefit greatly from dforce when the legs are bent a lot.

    Thanks!

The smoking room, titanic scene and military wedding promo aren't dforced ar all. In the three guys chatting outside -promo the middle man's tails are dforced.

  • Wow! This is just outstanding work! Sets the new bar for male clothing.

Probably one of THE best male clothing sets I've ever seen. Bought immediately. :)

And now the conductor of your orchastra has something decent to wear...

(ETA: As do the marching bands, now I think of it.)

It's very well done, I'm purchasing. Men's clothing makers, please take note of the details of this set.

I'm not even really into tuxes but this looks really impressive!

If it does well, whatever add-on that will make it more like (generic) armed forces formal wear would be appreciated!

Amazing! Once I stopped drooling over it, it went into my cart. Instabuy!

    Thank you!

I should add that my purchases skew heavily towards medieval/fantasy, and lately with an Asian bent for a project I'm working on, but I wasn't going to not buy something this good.

  • I'm surprised no one else has mentioned it so I will...lol

This is perfect for anyone wanting to make a Sebastian Michaelis (from Black Butler anime) character and render. The coat is so close to what that character wears. The last time anyone got close to this was the Casablanca set for Michael 3, the only thing missing is the watch and chain, the white gloves and a different neck tie easlily replaced.

    Sebastian

  • I just hope that all of the people complaining about men's clothing over the years are able to buy it.

This is our chance to show PA s that time spent on well made menswear can pay off.

I don't really have an immediate use for a modern white tie outfit (like Gordig my purchases skew very heavily toward medieval/fantasy), and I will still be buying it because I want to support PAs when they make beautiful, tailored menswear! I may not need it but hopefully PAs will be encouraged to one day make something that I do, to the same standards as this outfit. Especially if lots of us buy it promptly.

  • I don't usually get male clothing but this set was worth it, though mostly to convert to g8f for me.

It is currently top of the "What's Hot" list, including outselling the latest Daz Original bundles, so it seems a lot of people are buying it.

Immediately went into my cart the moement I saw it. My faith in Daz has (almost) been restored.

So when will there be more dressing uniforms (here we go: Dress Blues, for example), for man?

Also, freebie with extra textures would be really appreciated!

I very rarely do male renders but I couldn't resist this outfit - the pants look fantastic! No cyclinder legs!!!!!!!! And knowing that the promos weren't dForced, you can just see the quality of this outfit - everything fits and works great!

More male pants, Protozoon!!!!! Please!!!! laugh

  • I don't often purchase male clothes but I wanted to support this PA in the hopes that more good quality modern male clothes will come to market
  • I am messing around with it now. I really like that the bowtie is not conforming to the neck, and can be moved around, making it look a lot beter in certain poses.
