I am messing around with it now. I really like that the bowtie is not conforming to the neck, and can be moved around, making it look a lot beter in certain poses.

    Hi!

the bow also has a morph to bend its tips forward to make it look more natural.

I got competition now :P  Grats @Protozoon yes

I've been anxiously awaiting your product's arrival so when I first saw the White Tie outfit hit the store I thought it was yours - at first glance. lol I was surprised to see who the PA on it was since I hadn't seen them create clothing before. The White Tie outfit looks incredible, I'm grabbing it up for sure. And I'm super excited to see what you'll be coming out with as well. :) High quality male clothing is always something I'm interested in! :)

I hope we get a lot more quality male clothing from Protozoon too - this outfit looks awesome and I hope we get more! :D There's definitely enough room for both of you in the field since a LOT more PAs make female clothing than male clothing.

As with so many other products, this outfit doesn't quite know what to do with Felton.

Now this looks funny :) Did you dforce the pants? It might solve them. With shoes the toe pose preset might help too, or adjusting toes to about 20.

The other garments can be dforced too with appropriate mat zones' dynamic strength experimented.

I didn't try dForce on it, just loaded it onto the figure to see how it looked out of the box. I also tried Bullwarg, which fared slightly better, although the extreme head/neck morph caused a huge amount of distortion. Apes, on the other hand, wear this suit rather well (excepting the shoes, which they probably wouldn't wear anyway).

@Protozoon, have you got any thoughts for texture expansions for this? I'm curious whether you'd think you'd like to do more textures, for the tailcoat bit in particular.

hmm for the peoples which had bought it, here my basic questions

1 - the poly count of the outfit as aways (if possible for each piece)

2 - if the "buttoms" and others stuffs are "rigified(attached to the outfit and don't distort) and are props or are "part of the piece of outfit and are proper rigged and "distorte? i means that not because i want they to do that, but because the "rigid" stuff in daz only work on daz when you export to outside the stuffs will no more be "attached" to the outfit and will be just "float around and not follow any pose or animation".

Sharp looking monkey suit!  A cane, top hat, and white gloves would complete the look.Something similar:

    Hey!

You know what, this is a great idea. Not only textures but a proper expansion pack with a tophat, cane, gloves, a little bouquet for the left lapel and some textures with poses for their theme. +open hanging bowtie.
Actually I have a half-ready texture for a circus ringmaster/lion tamer (whip needed also XD)/moulin rouge announcer.

I take this in serious consideration :)

I just hope that all of the people complaining about men's clothing over the years are able to buy it.

This is our chance to show PA s that time spent on well made menswear can pay off.

I bought it for exactly this reason. It is simply spectacular and ticks so many boxes of mine concerning male clothing items...but the greatest of all the boxes to be ticked is, of course, outstanding quality. Yes, I am one of 'those people' who complain about men's clothing, but credit given where it's due. I will always support vendors who produce these type of garments.

POST EDIT - Sorry, forgot to mention the outstanding promo images....totally sold me.

hmm thanks i would say nowadays my worst enemie is not really being 'outfit poly count" but this rigid nodes, while for daz it's awesome outside daz it's a nightmare, you need to "proper parent the stuff in a 3d mesh editor", to make it work otherwise you need to "remove everything

    here a nightmare exemple:

it's look awesome and cool inside daz but if i have to remove all the rigid nodes this is what happens

I just tried this shader set on the suit. It works perfectly for the suit if you need variety of superb textures fast.

  • Great work. Looks great even without dForce, fits well on most of my male characters. Please continue laugh. I hate clothes that solely rely on dForce to look decent, especially for males.

If you are taking suggestions for an expansion; a modern tuxedo jacket to works with this shirt, waistcoat, trousers. So there would be 3 jacket styles. And if that tuxedo jacket had open and closed options... would work great with the open bow tie you mention...

Love, love, love this!  And if there will be expansion styles can I voice my request for a jabot, cravat, and embellished type shirt studs, some of which might have botanical stylings on them, or vaguely secret society type symbols that others would just admire as interesting but those in the know - or the society - would recognize.

  • Is there any specific era this outfit falls under? My first guess was Edwardian, but then I think one of the posters here said it was modern. Great looking outfit regardless of time period.

I thought it was 1920s. It that Edwardian? There a multiple variations of tuxedos and must are still around if you know where to look to buy.

Edwardian era is usually 1901-1910, but some consider it extends to the beginning of World War 1.

The picture below is considered Edwardian evening fashions including tailcoats and an early version of the tuxedo
