How gruesome that there is no Poser support again. And please dont tell there will be one in future like you said last year (Dark Elves)...

Newp, there won't be. Actually, I had the Dark Elf thing half done... but I'm seriously considering only doing Genesis 2 now.

This looks pretty cool. It would be interesting to know how this set works with the LAMH presets for the Big Cat 2.

Actually, unfortunately, no. Not without having to edit the hairs to lay down beneath the geometry, so they don't poke into it. I did look into it, but since those packs are owned by someone else, I couldn't edit them to include it. It probably can be done tho. I dunno much about LAMH at this point (Im sort of new to it)

Thanks for the fast reply. I guess, there will be some poke through and can be fixed in postwork. Seems like I have to buy it and try for my own! ;-)

Well, there are lots of morphs added to help with adjustments. I think they might also help with avoiding the hair too. I havent messed with that end to see how well it will work... but I always put a lot of adjustments just in case. They should help a lot, at least.

Genesis 2 only wouldn't be a problem but why no DSON files for poser?

So this armor is for Big Cat 2? Just want to clarify as it doesn't actually say that specifically anywhere.

I would like to know as well, I know that sometimes they are not done because the product does not convert well or fully to Poser , and other times because the artist elects not to or doesn't have the time to invest in PC files and then test them fully. So I have had times when I have bought Items and been able to create the Poser companion files just fine and others where due to poor functionality have had to return the item, I am a long time committed Poser user, I only use DS to create PCFs.

so all in all it would be nice to know if there are no PCFs for reason, Like poor compatibility, textures use DS dependent functions ect. VS Just elected not to include.

I have chosen not to support DSON with my Genesis stuff because A: people complain about it a lot so, I didn't really figure many were using it B: its more work which doesn't necessarily = more profit, and just stuff being for Geneis makes enuff on its own and C: Its a glitchy system that often has had unexpected issues for me every time I have in the past.

Til last nite, I was still supporting V4... or trying to. Aside from the Dark Elves, I had 2 other things for it in progress. I had been leaning toward dropping support completely. Sadly, I think Ive finally decided not to support it anymore.

Of course, I will still support Poser when and wherever possible - ie when doing props and things that translate easier.

Thank you that was exactly what I needed to know, it won't stop me from trying to set it up with poser function for myself. but it always helps to know if the artist had already encountered a impassable issue ;) In the cart it goes and I will let anybody know how it went ;)

Your Speaking of props and things that translate easier, off topic is there still going to be more of the Portals of Power line as it was very awesome!!!

Well, I hope you have better luck with that than I have lol

As for the portals... Ill prolly give it one more shot, just to be certain. But sadly, they didn't do as well as Id hoped. But I always chalk it up to... coulda been the timing, or the historical matter, etc. Although, I can definitely say at this point, it hasn't been moving since, either. Unfortunately, if something doesn't do well, I generally tend to stop doing it. I have a very long list of projects... I guess it wouldn't serve me well to be sticking with ones that just don't sell. But I figure, Ill do one more... just to be certain.

Anyway... thanks to everyone for the compliments on the set. I can't wait to see what you guys render with it! Please feel free to post them!

I had a little fun with the promos, myself, actually. In case you couldn't tell, this set was made to work in tandem with some of my other sets... like Dark Apocalypse.... Azraella.... Dark Elves and Frostbite. I also wanted it to work with the Jungle, the snow and Desert (or any other place you guys can dream up)

Also wanted to mention to everyone... I guess the big cat is also on sale right now, despite the lack of promotion for it.

IgnisSerpentis, those renders look simply delicious, especially the top one. I'd love to know how you got that look.
Now I'm wondering if I can decently recreate my Dwarf Hunter from WoW. I took waaay too long building the rep for the cat mount.

TY :) For a dwarf, I am sure it will work... but the poses will probably have to be adjusted (since he would be much smaller than G2M)

The top one uses Azraella (tho its g2f... I simply converted the outfit and changed the uv's to v4), Phantoms and of course Battle cat. Also a background by Sveva. With promos, I keep the postwork very light, so there is minimal color correction and brightness/contrast adjustment. Also, I used a filter called Topaz clean, which smooths things out all pretty (but can even make things cartoonized) Oh and theres a little fog added using brushes

If you're interested, you can find the PS filter here: http://www.topazlabs.com/clean?referral=231624 (its a special referral link from my acct, which will save you money on it)

Yeah, I was planning on building my own pose for that. Besides, I think the gallery will be overrun with night elves already without me added another one.
Edit: I have a few of your V4 characters, I should resurrect them in G2f. Might have to do a N'Elf after all.

LOL yah a lot of folks were like ooo it goes with your elves! It is very WOW inspired. That is, of course barring one's who would be doing this lol The devil made me do it. The armor isn't exactly like He-Man, but a lot of ppl have commented how it reminds them of it.

I do have your N'Elf package btw...I love the eyebrows, and the texture variants. Good stuff as always.
And thanks again for the plugin link and discount. It's already installed, just waiting for Daz to finish a render then I can test it out.
