    ...Friday Complaints:

--Woke up late as I was up again into the early morning hours playing with posing and rendering.
--Probably won't get my RRRR submission finished as I will be out of town this weekend.
--Had to get a new phone card as they signed me up on the wrong calling plan. I wanted minutes as I don't have that much activity but they put me on a monthly basis. Ended up wasting 25$ for about only 31 minutes total activity last month (which included several wrong numbers). The card was for 250 min which were supposed to be good for up to 90 days. Going to demand a credit of 210 min added to my account or refund for the 21$ worth of service I never got to use.
--Comcast hitting me up for service charges for this month even though my service was cut off on the 21st of last month. I'll be buggered if I am going to pay them any extra money for no service.

    Non Complaints:

--Another beautiful summer day here in "Beervana".
--Fellow at the store where I bought the phone helped me shift to the minutes plan I wanted (I'm old school, I would set up an appointment for a a Ma Bell technician to come in, install the phone, then go up the pole to activate the line and give me a call to make sure it was working, so simple back then).
--Friend dropped by last night with the dual Radeon GPUs (7950s with 3GB VRAM and 1,750 processor threads ea) all the drivers & stuff I needed. He also dropped off a backup PSU that fits in a drive bay which will effectively give me 1,200W of power total. Will be installing after I get back from Seattle this weekend. Shouldn't have any more crashes to the desktop when working on big scenes in OpenGL mode with 2 x 3GB GDDR5.
--Got a new external USB keyboard for the notebook. Nice and light with "big" letters & numbers for my tired old eyes.
--Looking forward to getting out of town for a couple days. BBQ, Beer, and RPG gaming, couldn't be better.

..ahh so nice to have a working back arrow and "e" key again.

...yeah I had a lot of that happening when I was still on wireless. if there is even a momentary fluctuation in signal, Cloudflare cuts in and redirects (in my experience "misdirects") you.

Not been fun having to deal with it again myself.

Ow. Here I am, in stage two drought conditions, it's hotter than the apocalypse, not a single drop of rain all week(at least anywhere within five miles from work) and a mosquito bit my elbow, right where it normally rests on the desk. Now I have a big inflamed region on my arm

    Mosquitoes are evil!

Blah, had three calls right in a row from places I don't have any family or friends that would know my cell. Kingsville, tx, Phoenix, az and Florida- all spam I'm sure, especially how one would end and the next call occurred in less than two seconds (literally back to back). Especially annoying when I'm on the phone with the head of our department regarding a map she needs ASP

They left no voice message so I'm left to wonder if they wanted to sell me a home insurance plan or new electrical provider, as that's the messages I got this first time I got a weird out of state calls

Put your number on the national do not call list! It takes 30 days for it to propigate to everyone, but then the spam calls should stop. And if they don't, you can report them and they'll be fined. Certain types of calls are not under this...charitable organizations, surveys, and political campaign type calls I think. There may be one other type I'm forgetting.

I don't need big letters. I don't need letters much. My sister complains when she asks to use my computer for something, because she can't see some of the letters. I am a touch typist. As long as I can feel the little notches on the "F" and "J" keys, I'm all set. Same for the "5" key on the numeric keypad.

The shedding looks kind of itchy, though..

I bet it was. He wasn't easy to get a nice still pic. Either he was trying to wiggle his head under the stand or wiggling his tail at lot. That was the best image I could get before we moved him to a new abode.

Sigh.. now up to 51GB of 3D content.. again..

Now that I have Josie I needed to get her some non-skimpwear, so I got the Young Shirt and the texture pack with the last of my spending money. Going to be a LOT of time at home next week.. glad beer comes out of the grocery funds.. :long:

Gianni 6 Pro Bundle into the wishlist. Gotta give the G2M some loving, plus I need a hero and - face it - Mike is NOT up to the task! :gulp:

DIM grabbing and installing the young shirt thing.. now I have a teen girl to drive the fancy cars I bought a while back (lol) Note that Josie will NOT be eating Mikeburgers, she prefers the fried armadillo pieces!! :bug:

hehe but is so stylish, you get the impression Xerxes is real party animal : There are some stunning underwater scenes so far wow ! Had to stop watching & hit record cos The Big Heat with Glenn Ford came on another channel, a favourite Fritz Laing film with a favourite line: "someone will ask why you don't stop annoying people?" and snappy comeback "when I have enough answers to close this joint up...tell that to your mother"

Just looked and I'm up to 47GB of content but 200GB of modelling and mods in runtimes, no-one is getting rich here

200GB?!?!?!? :bug: :bug: Asset management must be a nightmare... :gulp:

I need to just buy one thing a month, I swear. I think Gianni is next because Mike feels lonely, it's a 3D world of ladies and he feels a but put upon.. The Girl is for pin-ups, I used to use the old Girl for creating desktop backgrounds.. :red: :red: :red:

Josie render in progress. Maybe test drop soon! :)

IN the film Xerxes has been morphed into a God by the ebil Artemisia so I guess he doesn't have any wardrobe changes

I use GIT metadata for versioning, otherwise is semi organised chaos here with the saving grace that LW will package up scene assets in a unique directory tree for rendering  http://git-scm.com

Gotcha. We used GIT for source code control a while back, seemed reasonable for a lot of things.

Yeah.. deities don't need no steenking wardrobe changes! :snake:
