Probably last render for today but I got Black Wolf finished. He's a werewolf that's mostly in control of his other half, though the full moon is still a bit of a problem. But other than that, he's a happy go lucky.
The reflection came out very odd though, with the floor up top and the mirrored back wall at the bottom. (It was doing this before I added a second mirror, just so you know). Not sure how to correct that.
Tonight might be a big problem for Black Wolf. We have a Super Moon tonight! :lol:

...well, finally caught up for now.
Have to leave for the day. When I got home discovered Bombast sent a snail mail notice that my service would be cut off if I don't pay before the 19th (didn't they do that almost three weeks ago already?). Will have to deal with them tomorrow as I refuse to pay for time that I was unable to get online, but am too tired from the trip to put my best "diplomatic" face on right now.
Time to finish up a few scenes I've been working on before take the workstation down to swap out the GPUs.

Terre's referencing a WIP story I started with the gang all invited to a costumed party except it was a full moon that night and Black couldn't go. Reld was sitting with him, though Wolf totally thought it was him watching over the dragon.
And with that, I'm off to bed. Night all Early gratz to whoever wins roll over

Would be awesome to have things like that to hold in our hands... There's this hydra I'm currently damn near well obsessed with right now that I'd love to have a physical model of to put on my desk, but the odds of that are about as good as the sun deciding it wants to set in the opposite direction one day :lol:
Odds would be just slightly better if I sculpted a version of it myself, but only just 'slightly' better.
(You'd be surprised how many games and animations put in a giant snake or something, then completely botch it by making the mouth anatomy all wrong, putting the tongue at the very back or skipping out on it's 'breathing pipe' entirely...)

Eh, not exactly my usual workflow :lol:
I was trying what a friend suggested and just using a big'ish solid brush and quickly sketching things. Just focus on loose doodles/sketches, and not worry about things. Dunno if it's helping or not really.
As for the hydra being fierce, it definitely is XD
I still think it's quite handsome though. Big fan of snakes, and I'm quite fond of hydras too. The fact it can (And easily will if given half the chance) swallow you and your characters when you battle it helps too, but snake-hydras are always a plus in my book :) Very detailed snakie too!

I don't remember if Fyre has said how old Reld is, but given what I remember from the story where she introduced him, that draggy is over 1600 years old. If she's following modern historical theory. He was an adult during the reign of King Arthur and that was back around 400 AD as far as historians can tell. At least that was the most recent I've read on the subject.

On a different note, I've been planning on restarting that tyranno sculpt I was doing, now that I got my camera working again (Guess the batteries were bad after all)
It was a pain taking pics of the model I'm going to be using as a ref, given it's in a sitting pose that doesn't give a good side-view reference of it. Stitched a few together then traced the outline, and vaguely traced the legs - it's the main body shape I'm more concerned with at the moment since that was what threw me off the most in the original sculpt.
Still don't think it's exactly right, but close enough I guess. I have the bonus of being able to hold it in my hand, but eyeballing it wasn't really working for me. Need more practice I guess :)
Welp, while I'd love to stay up and try and get the next thread naming rights, I've gotta get some sleep. It's late and it's been a busy day.
Don't have any witty suggestions for a title either, but best wishes to whoever does win it hey :)
Maybe something involving dinosaurs?
