Finished making all the girls for my story. Have to come up with renders with some still but I did get one with Kitsune done. She's has telekinesis and teleportation. Today, she's beginning her morning Kata alongside Samuel's cousin.

    I like it!

Meanwhile it's eye-burn season here. I'll be spending the next month or so with one or two of these less than 50 yards away from the front doors of the store. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mTnhRuXwwDA With the difference that the ones we have are much larger. THey do 30 lbs at a time.

Blah, had three calls right in a row from places I don't have any family or friends that would know my cell. Kingsville, tx, Phoenix, az and Florida- all spam I'm sure, especially how one would end and the next call occurred in less than two seconds (literally back to back). Especially annoying when I'm on the phone with the head of our department regarding a map she needs ASP

They left no voice message so I'm left to wonder if they wanted to sell me a home insurance plan or new electrical provider, as that's the messages I got this first time I got a weird out of state calls

Put your number on the national do not call list! It takes 30 days for it to propigate to everyone, but then the spam calls should stop. And if they don't, you can report them and they'll be fined. Certain types of calls are not under this...charitable organizations, surveys, and political campaign type calls I think. There may be one other type I'm forgetting.

I guess they don't like you to go right to the register page. I was trying to save everyone a step. :smirk: try this

Second drop, some more work with lighting and playing with the shaders on the Morgan. I'm not super happy with Josies skin texture, that may be more work than I want for a "learning render". :blank:

.....Josie's skin texture uses SSS by default. Which lights are you using?

I wonder where that expression came from.

    Is that the Tangien set?

Feeling fly like a G6, a well known executive jet by Gulfstream Aerospace

If I were rich, that's what I'd get...a Gulfstream...and a top rated combat pilot or two to fly it.

It threw a magneto error earlier on me but I was also mid render and so I wasn't sure if that wasn't the cause.

...well back from my Sojourn to Seattle this weekend and complaint time.

--"Road Constriction Ahead" (that's what I call it). Not more than 20 min out of Portland on Saturday morning ans we go stuck inching along for over an hour because of a road construction project that WASN'T mentioned at all by the Washington State DOT on their site.
--Rubberneckers. As if the first traffic delay wasn't bad enough got stuck in an equally as long (if not slightly longer one) between Olympia and Tacoma. This time however it was due to rubberneckers in the northbound lanes all slowing down to look at a multi-car wreck in the southbound lanes. It was extremely exasperating as I as taking several of these special burgers I had (which I had ice packed the night before) for the BBQ and as worried they would thaw out too early while were often sitting still in the messed up traffic.
---Hot weather is back. 96° when I got back today and depending on which forecast you trust, will be anywhere between 100° and 109° tomorrow. If the latter prediction is correct, that will be an all time record high for the city (current record is 107°).
--Packers lost by 4 (though it only is "preseason")

    Non complaints:

--Had a fun time up in Seattle. Great to see my friends again who are next being sent down to New Zealand (Wellington). Played some D&D 3rd. Old fashioned P & P RPGs still rock over online games, something very satisfying about using dice to determine the outcome of a combat instead of a pseudo random number generator.
--Burgers survived the trip and were very tasty.,
--Appropriate quantities of beer and booze were consumed as well.
--No traffic issues on the trip home.
--Get to install the new GPUs and secondary PSU this week.
--Ben gone last several days and the thread still hasn't rolled over (though as my online time is limited it most likely will do so without me).
--While the weekend was cool and fun, always feels good to be home again.
