Let me change my statement! I do like transparency and it IS a pet peeve.
However, if a promo has something from another site, I wish the artist could let us know what it is. I do not know if Daz would allow that.
If the promo artist used something...such as a morph, that is their own, just say that!!
This is MY personal wish wanting to know what products are used.
LOL YES IT DOES!
(And really appreciate you, Mary!!)
And I also very much appreciate when vendors help us out that way. It shows how generous they are to include other vendors and help them get sales too. Thank you!
Wow, thank you. I didn't spot those at all.
Kayla and Judy Love's smiles look amazing - hopefully they'll be included!
Edit, not aimed at Havos: Regarding promos, do what you like in the primary promo - that's supposed to be eyecatching. But for the love of dog, have at least one promo that's not excessively blurred with outrageous depth of field, color corrected, or post-processed to the point that, as a potential customer, I can't tell if the perceived quality is in the product or in the promo treatment. I want to be able to determine that texture resolution is adequate and not some over-compressed and/or under-sized mess, that the secondary maps (bump, normal, spec, rough) are adequately detailed and that the model has no major defects. If I can't tell, I'll err on the side of caution, assuming that something is being deliberately hidden, and not buy.
I note that there have been a few threads lately asking for additional renders of products - that suggests the promos are not displaying the product sufficiently.
Could somebody clarify about the character in promo of "Rarestone's All Sweet Fashion Poses III for Genesis 8", " https://www.daz3d.com/rarestones-all-sweet-fashion-poses-iii-for-genesis-8 ?
What is the character on the additional promo #1, #2 and #7 (it looks the one character)?
On #7 there is a name, "Teen Gao", but I can not find anything about the character "Teen Gao" here, in Daz3d.
Thanks.
From the folder names in the product, it may have been renamed to the Gou Luk Bundle
Thanks for pointing out those names! I never noticed them. Interestingly, I have every single one of the girls except for the two works-in-progress. And I am eagerly waiting Kayla.
What's funny is that although I have all those other character, they've never looked anything like those promo images. I'd pay big for that light/camera/render setup.
aristarh1970, promo #7 "Teen Gao" I think it's Hann Mei, but I could be wrong.
I've been trying to find out where to find the T-shirt with the number 7 on it that Hann Mei is Wearing in prome #6
I don't know if they would either, but I know that Renderosity PA's (those that list their assets) never have a problem mentioning that something they used is from DAZ.
I don't get that. Sold content is sold content. If it's on Rendo or DAZ, the money is going to get spent. I'm not going to buy something else here if what I want is on Renderosity...
Having to come to the forums to ask what it is just seems childish on the part of DAZ.

I agree that it would be nice if vendors gave a closer to full list of content used, every couple of weeks I end up posting a request for help finding a costume I can't locate in the store. I know that a lot of the content artists farm out their promo's from other renderer's but I see more cool costumes in promo renders than I see over at the site I post my art, even though I'm watching a lot of the content creators over there along with several of the artists that do their promo's. I've had people here on the forums tell me "well check the promo credits." but the items I'm asking for I am asking BECAUSE they aren't listed in the promo credits That's always the first place I look if I see a costume or other item that looks interesting. Too often it's something not listed.
