The wait for Lee 6 is almost over. To get you ready for his upcoming launch here are a few images to get you ready.
Remember today is the absolute last day to purchase a new release (any item released between the 17th of July and the 21st of July) and save 20% on Lee 6.

Excellent! That's what I was saving my monthly coupon for. And I like quite a lot of the additional content that goes with him, too.
(Hm. And MEC4D has a Chinese set that she's shown previews of in the PA forum, too. Mostly the women's outfit, but there is one for a man as well.)
And of course Fisty's Asian dress for A6 is still lurking in the wings as well.
Which new items count towards the discount -- I'm thinking the new PC items don't but it'd be lovely if they did -- and how many do we need to buy?

My concern is how long do we have to take advantage of the extra 20%? I'm not sure I'm going to have the funds to swing the Pro Bundle until very close to the end of the 2 week intro period, and if the extra 20% is only good for one week, I might be better served keeping my money to use on Lee directly.
(That and none of the products released since the 17th have jumped up and said "buy me now!" though several are in the "that's interesting, might be able to use that" category, so picking the best option to get has become something of a challenge in and of itself.)
I mean, I want to get him, and plan (especially now that I've seen some of his stuff) to get the pro bundle. I just can't get the pro Bundle immediately upon release.

Hope I can get him now the Pro Bundle I always get & not wait if he is too high, get the extra 20% for buying new releases, but if he is over $100.00 he would still be high even with membership also.
Plus I'd have to have all Poser Items that goes with him.
He needs a Suit like for a spy outfit & a Bikini Bathing suit. lol :)

OH, he is gorgeous! :snake: I've been saving my PC coupon all month in hopes of catching him!
I hate to be this guy. I am honestly not impressed with the Genesis 2 male figures. The chest in particular to me still looks like flat breast, too rounded off on the bottom and there is no variation with the abdominal region.

There have been a few issues, mainly with M6, the first one to roll off the line, but...look, I can't post any of the pictures here, but if you google images search for 'topless asian guy' with safe-search disabled (insert lots of 'googler beware!' here!) this absolutely nails the look. ;) In fact, there's one, a 'stock photo' which when I looked at it larger, could have been a render of this character, with the minor addition of one of the vein morphs... I can see in the very MOST 'cut' guys a sort of 'square' around the central abs which is missing here, but...that's about the extent of picky that I can be. There are a few top guys whose chest is dead on to this, including the 'rounded off' you describe.I can only imagine that all these images are with HD most-definitely on, as I can't imagine getting that detail without it.
This is a good look, the arms and chest and lots of the body are dead on to pictures I can find. I don't know how much I need this character, in reality, but I'm deeply impressed with what they've put together.

I'm interested in seeing the rest of the characters in the bundle. I like Lee base, hope to see what other ethnic figures can be made from him, or will he be purely Asian this go around?
I agree with you about gen 2 male pecs.
In this case, this is the best I've seen so far. At least it's not too big.
Another thing I don't like is the area where the shoulders, chest and lateral muscles meet. Its Too V shaped and unrealistic. There is also no asymmetry which is also unrealistic. I pointed this out when Michael 5 came out and they have not fixed it in this generation. There are also not enough shaping options for the abdominal and serratus regions. The abdominal region, not everyone has a six pack, most people have a wide and tall four pack. To get the specific look I want I have had to sculpt the figures in Zbrush to create a custom morph. Another thing I find lacking are small detail or features like tendons. The figures are too smooth. I am sure an hd product could be created that adds to The Genesis Male 2 the features I am looking for, but that is just another product I won't be able to afford even with my platinum membership.
Just an example, Here is Bruce Lee. His chest is only slightly rounded but peaks and squares off. There is a figure that did a very nice job of capturing the general shape and detail I am looking for. There are some chest that are almost triangular at the sides, most common in comic books.

I'm not saying this is not a nice looking product, I'm just saying, like the rest of the Genesis 2 Product line. I am and no seeing a big leap forward in the technology or modeling.
There is a product from sixus1 called Outlander Fireball Skin for M4 that gave it a lot of the things M4 was missing. It is a wonderful product and extended the life span of M4 to the point where I don't see my self needing to upgrade to Genesis 2.
I often question DAZ's marketing. Its sometimes too gimmicky. At first there were only HD shapes for Genesis 2 and now you see more HD shapes for Genesis 1. Just another gimmick.
Do like I did, buy the least expensive thing you like out of the new releases. I think it is 20% off the original price before PC discounts, so that is like $24 off. so keep it away from that and you have a deal. spend more than that or very close to it, and you don't have much of a deal at all. but they got me today, I spent $30 instead of the $10 I wanted with the arlelya dress. but I have to thank DAZ a lot. it was worth it. 48 items for $30, nothing over $0.70 except the dress. $745 worth of stuff with a $715 discount. Thank You DAZ for the stackable sales!! would have gotten more, but needed to save for Lee.

When I did the math (30% intro + 30% PC +20% Bonus) It wound up actually being only around $10 to $12 off the Pro Bundle (using Gianni's Pro Bundle to calculate from).
I picked up the Vaulted Room anyway. Of all the releases, that is the most likely to see use in the near future for me.
When can I take him home with me? I wanna do my hair and my nails and straighten my posture and turn into a woman again instead of the 70-year-old frump I feel like today. He can't enter my home soon enough. ;)

Thanks finally for the sneak peak, but it would have been nice to have seen it before you released him. I'm in the UK and this thread wasn't here when I signed off last night.
I'm also a bit put out that the advert says that you et 20% extra off if you have purchased a new release between 17 -21, as well as if you have already own or buy Aiko 6, I would have saved my money and not bought one of the new releases if I'd know about the Aiko 6 discount.

I don't understand this at all. Do you mean you bought the Arlelya Dress the other day, and because of that, you got the Pro bundle and other stuff for $30?
