Download Errors?

Is anyone else having download issues? Yesterday things seemed fine, but today DIM and Daz Connect ctd, and Nature Trees Pack 4 will not download at all. I get maybe 100mb in, and I recieve a netwerk interrupt error. in Opera. Chrome also generates a network error for that file. 

As far as I can tell my connection is fine since I haveTwitch,  netflix and Amazon Prime going just fine. (No not all at once, and not while I was attempting to DL.)

    Yes I am also having trouble downloading certain products. Many things download just fine but there are some that won't, it gets a little way through the download and then says "download failed, network error". HD Dark Knight for Daz Horse 2 is one of the things I can't seem to download, I've tried through DIM and I've tried downloading a zip file from the product page, it fails either way.

    I'm having dowload problems as well. Fermion Racing Helmets failed first time I tried in DIM but worked OK on the second try. Vivy Character and Hair pack fails every time I try in DIM and if I try a manual download I get a Netwrok Error message in Chrome.

    That's the exact same error I get, plus both DIM and DC are now CTDing on me. I'm wondering if those are both connected. With DIM and Daz Connect, I cannot download anything at all. I did manage to manually download almost all of yesterdays order except for one file that will not download at all. Stonemasons Urban Alley thingy was another that gave the same error bur a couple of download restarts seemed to work for that one.

    I'm re-downloading my last order from Rendo, so far that hasn't generated a single error.

    Must be something on the Daz end of the things...I'm also having the same problem today. Some files will download, some won't. Size of file doesn't seem to be a factor. It's not clear whether it's based on relative newness or some other factor.

    Is this something that needs a Support ticket submitted?

    I'm getting this too. Most of what I bought today downloaded in DIM immediately. One package took something like twenty retries to download; the last package I've been trying to get to download for maybe an hour (40+ retries) without success. It doesn't seem to be any general connection or network issues, though I notice that DIM's reported download rates are horribad today.

    The #4 Porefect file is another one that is not downloading.  Can't even download manually from my product page.

    I did submit a ticket and a refund request. I have managed to trace some of my DIM/Connect issues to the My Book drive I have everything installed on, there are issues with the drive. But the one file in particular will not download at all on any drive.

    I received the same message following purchase this morning - 12 items in cart but one didn't load on DIM (failed message showing).  I tried manually but recevied Failed-Network Error.  Also, there was an update for another asset which had same thing occur too.  I did successfuly downlaod the item manually but DIM still showing failed to load.  The update however is still giving me the Network Error message for manual downloads.

    Here's a list of products I am still unable to download through DIM, despite numerous attempts:

    • STF Brutal Weapons for Genesis 8
    • Nyorozo for Bullwarg HD
    • Wind Warrior Outfit with dForce for Genesis 8 Female(s)
    • Daz Studio Content Creation with Blender (1 of 2)
    • Rasta Tails Hair and OOT Hairblending 2.0 for Genesis 3 Female(s)
    • Iray Snow, Ice and Ash

    I have previously been able to download all of these files on a different machine. Also of note, I could download the Daz Content Creation for Blender (2 of 2) file. This is rather annoying; hopefully, it can be sorted out when the Daz team returns to the office on Monday.

    Yeah, got a 3 items not downloading as well. And the 'Deepsea Egyptian Ancient Temple' is also broken rn. NOT a very satisfying DAZ experience today.

    • Iray Super Shaders Manga Emotions (1 of 2)
    • Skate Queen Outfit Textures

    Failures both manually and through DIM. It's the weekend, so hopefully this will be taken care of very promptly tomorrow morning, but I'd been hoping to play with both of those things later today. I waited this long for them to go on sale, one day may not be that much more but it's annoying.

    A couple of my downloads also don't work, and consistently fail.

    • Celestial Moon Weapons
    • Physical Therapy Equipment

    (Don't try to figure out any connections there. Different ideas and different purposes for sure...)

    Maybe one of their boxes is having issues if it's confined to specific items?

    They sent me a reply from my refund request stating they were having issues with a server, so I'll wait on the refund. As to my recent DIM and Connect issues, Much of that is on my end. Either my new external drive is wonky, or Daz really doesn't care for it at all. 

    And maybe you need physio after trying to heft a Celestial Moon weapon?

    As an additional point (Sunday 11 Oct) I have had another download through DIM fail--I lost count of attempts to get the file--and finally I got so frustrated (I needed that file this evening) that I tried downloading the .zip file directly, the hard way ... lo and behold, that failed too.

    Not that this provides any new information, since the consensus is they've got a borked server and we're just going to have to accept that until they fix it, but if anyone was thinking of getting clever and trying a direct download ... forget it, it doesn't work around the problem.

    I'm imagining the physio/rehab is for the monsters/kaiju after getting beaten by sailor suit-wearing G8F with the Celestial Moon weapons.

    I finally managed to get both packages to download, through the highly technical process of opening DIM and spamming the Download button every single time it failed, until I was finally able to get just enough of a functional window with the server that it succeeded.

    Something is broken on the Daz side. Purchase I made today won't download with DIM, Daz Central or Manual Download. Went back and tried a few past purchases and all of those files worked fine for Manual Download. Not file size related, tried some smaller files and larger files with no issue.

    Yeah, I have three items that refuse to download and they are not new items. They range from 372MB to 702MB.

    I had a couple of items that took maybe a dozen attempts or so to download - I was quite lucky that they were only about 100-150 MB each so I could stay with it and hit the download button again as soon as they failed.

    Incidentally, the same downloads also failed downloading directly from DAZ account page, so I think it is/was a server issue and not a software issue.

    I was having download issues with 4 or 5 items, or with parts of 4 or 5 items.  Most of them eventually downloaded after multiple attempts.  Right now I seem to be stuck on Space Gate Ps, which doesn't get very far before giving a Download Failed.  I will try again later.

    Downloads failing here as well, for: Disconsolation Fallen and Meeting Lodge Textures Add-on. Another one had problems (old item as well) but managed to make it through in the end. Everything else (more than 10 items for sure) downloaded just fine.

    Feathered Fantasy Headdress for Genesis 3 and 8 Female(s).... add this one to the dowload failures...at least for me.

    Has Daz addressed this problem yet?

    I got that repeatedly on the 24 files, each 500mb, of Roman Billbopards .... I trying experience.

    Still failing for me as well.

    (Lyssa HD for Elithia 8 is 95MB, so not a huge product... still fails.)
