I managed to download most of my problematic files through my browser by now, except for part 4 from Porefectionist, which was by far the largest one.
The point where downloads fail varies a lot. Sometimes at 4%, other times around 70%.
The download manager built into Firefox actually attempts to resume a download before retrying, so it is sometimes possible to retry a few times and actually progress from the point where it left of.
Sometimes, however, the download manager claims a succesful download, but only writes a 1Kb file. Opening that file in notepad revealed some interesting content. It said "Auth expired", nothing more, no weird codes or garble, just "Auth expired". For the rest, the file is useless, so I throw them away when that happens, and get back to trying to get a lucky streak in resumed downloads.
We made a configuration change on Saturday that should have fixed all of this.
I just tried a manual download of that product and it worked fine for me, is it still giving you problems?
I just tried and am still having problems with Failed - Network error. Here is my list of items
Not working
Muelsfell Hagswood item# 22177 *Ps.zip file
Muelsfell Modular Path Set item#55457 *Ps.zip
Nature - Plants Pack 1 item#17357 *Ps.zip file
Don't Use DIM but here are some non working files as well
Water Spring item#33097 1_33097.sep
Tactical Belts item#51973 1_51873.sep
This item did not work until later yesterday and is still working today
Morphing Jack-O-Lantern item#64879 *.zip
Hope this helps!
...and another one. The other files of that package DL'ed ok, including Carrara and Poser content (which I have no use for).
As of now, things are still failing to download. See attached
Whatever they did, they should have maintained a backup copy of the files for the server. It seems at this point, it would have been more practical to restore from the backup and just start over on whatever update they're trying to do.
Finally managed to get the fourth package from Porefectionist. Not sure if anything was changed anywhere, but suddenly it all downloaded in one go.
I'm having this problem with Super Hero Suit for Genesis 8 Female(s) (Product Sku: 71557) as well.
Alright, I see that this problem has not been successfully resolved.
I'm in contact with our cloud provider for downloads and will update you when we have a resolution. I have seen files that were previously unavailable become available so this could be a sign of some overloaded servers on their end that are being rebalanced over time.
FYI, manual DL also failed for me.
EDIT: Got it on the second try. (Or, in Batman terms, the first try.)
I'll see if a larger manual download works...
Okay!
Manual download for "Celestial Moon Weapons" also worked (~270MB).
DIM was also able to process "Physical Therapy Equipment", which failed previously.
Maybe it's working now.
DIM download of Highlands failed agian today
after 3 days I was finally able to download 3 packages I had problems with, so for me it's solved, hope it gets fixed soon for everyone
Thanks Rawb, whatever you and the cloud provider are doing is working for me at least. All my downloading is caught up!
Seems to be sorted out finally. Thanks, @DAZ_Rawb
Got the Highlands through now as well :D
As of now, things are still failing to download. See attached
Weekend purchases and today's downloads have now all completed. I think I just buy too much! ;)
Downloads completed. Thanks @DAZ_Rawb
I'm seeing good results over here as well. I think this is fixed up for real.
I am still having product updates issue failing to download. Sad thing is, I submitted a report and got a form response back saying that everything was fixed. When I said I was still experiencing problems, just got the same response again that things were fixed and my ticket was "closed." Sigh.
My failed downloads worked just now, sorry to hear others are still heaving problems though ...
As long as they're not heaving bosoms, I think they will be okay. Also, I have been able to download things that wouldn't download earlier.
