Darn! To bad, Daz is loosing a great spokesperson, but I think we (the forumites and customers) are loosing a trusted company rep to lean on.

I'm sure your students are going to be the really lucky one's!

Best wishes, hope to "see" you around often.

Jared, as much as it's sad to see another big figure here leave us, I want to personally applaud you for walking down the path of something that this world desperately needs more of in this day and age. This path is well known for the struggles and challenges it bears, both interactively and financially, yet knowing that you're willing to be apart of it to provide experienced education shows that there are people who still care for the importance of building good opportunity for our youth.

As a guy who struggled with mental disability in school, I really do thank you and wish you all the best. :)

It's about 4:00 DAZ time so that means time for me to pack up my stuff. This will be my last post as a DAZ employee.

Just wanted to say thanks for all of the kind words. I'm sure my replacement will be even better than me.

For those of you interested in my PA store you can check it out here: http://www.daz3d.com/jr-pupn-such Its kind of sparse right now, but hopefully it will fill up soon.

    Take care everyone.

    from moderator to MIDDLE SCHOOL?

    mann you luv punishment

best of luck and Cheers :)

Actually, it's a transition that makes perfect sense -- to me, anyway.

My two all-time favorite bartenders, in all of my nearly two decades as an 'itinerant rent-a-geek', have been, in their 'day jobs', teachers; both of them second-grade, as it turned out.

The lesson is clear: skill-sets are surprisingly transferrable.

    Greetings,
Yipe! Wanted to share this story with you, although I'm sure you've already seen it...

I wish you the world of luck. I remember my best teachers {mumble} years later, so it's a darn good job you go to.

And you did a darn good job here. It felt a little bare of DAZ presence for a while, before you came along. Thanks for changing that.

...just came across this (having no Net access from home again really makes it difficult to stay current).

Anyways, after dealing with us "kids" here, handling in middle school kids should be a cinch (well...maybe).

Good luck in your new endeavour and don't be a total stranger.
