    Too many clouds to see the super moon
    Too cold to sit outside waiting to see the super moon
    Too dark to sit outside and see anything else
    Too late to see thread rollover coming
    Too tired to think of scintillating thread title involving dinosaurs

    In reference to Terre last post, Reld was a young adult dragon during the time of King Arthur. He and his mate were expecting their first eggs when Mordred killed Arthur and things snowballed out of control after Merlin bound Mordred for all time in the very same mountain Reld and his mate were nesting in. I will be make a short synopsis story of Reld's history and why he's running around with Sam once I finish my current story.

    I remember being around for the first Reld-Sam stories :)

    He's a cutie despite his "age" :lol:

    Copper Dragons! Lookit that one prancing about like it was still a whelpy. Out of all the dragons in the series, I like the copper's personalities the best. Reds? Too ebil and greedy. Golds and Silvers? Too good and patient.
    As far as handsomeness goes though, the Reds are my favorite. A little biased here and always will be though - since the DnD Red Adult was the very very very first memory of a dragon I ever had. :)

    Been talking with a friend of mine over Skype about things, he still plays D&D a lot, 'homebrew' rules mostly but largely based off 3.5 / Pathfinder hybrid'ish rules, though "rules" is a bit misleading since he's got the same view as I did 20 years ago: They're just guidelines. There to help you develop your own adventures and not there to be absolute and unchanging. I mean, a lot of games were built off the DnD base mechanics but have absolutely nothing to do with the series. ARENA and Daggerfall being two good examples I can think of. On the other hand, if you're going to be working with official 'scenarios' and whatnot, then there's less room for deviations I imagine.

    Still, I've had too many people badger me about never ever being 'creative' with the rules under any circumstances, even in personal games and having a 'good' red dragon was like blasphemy to them. Seriously, had a person freaking out over a character of mine because of that - told me to 'do it right or don't do it at all' because rulebooks are law it seems >_>

    Anyways... First time I've actually been involved with these things in, well... In 20 years :lol:
    Wanted to get back in slowly and all that, so have been doing things with my friend now and then. I don't want to be flooded with information and stuff right off the bat, nor do I really want anything to do with the official stories/games. Just the mechanics and not much more (I might make an exception for Baldur's Gate though - was a childhood memory after all)

    Happy Monday :grrr: and we have COMPLAINTS!

    - It's Monday
    - Need to run errands during lunch when it's hot and humid
    - Need WAY more sleep
    - Sore shoulders
    - Too much work, not enough time
    - Can't solder worth a dang (long story)
    - Todays looks to be a real Yawnulos day snzzzzzzzzzz

    Non-complaints:

    - All evening set aside for renders
    - Coffee is fresh and hot today

    For me (At the time) Monday's mean 'Red vs Blue releases a new episode today' to me :lol:

    I don't drink coffee, and my work hours are more along the lines of weekend nights, so Monday's are more refreshing to me than something to be dreaded :)

    I don't drink coffee, and my work hours are more along the lines of weekend nights, so Monday's are more refreshing to me than something to be dreaded :)

    I'm glad someone can have a happy Monday, I'd hate to imagine a single, global day of suffering for the entire human race! :blank:

    Just bought a new Zbrush book. The more the merrier I say :)

    'Introducing Zbrush 4.0' - it has a dragon on the front :lol: Totally not the reason I bought it though - it was just a bonus :)

    Back from errands - managed to keep just slightly overheated. :blank: Whopper Jr. with cheese :cheese: for lunch!

    Bills were lower than expected, so.. what does Vicky, Aiko, Mike, or Josie need? What can I use for the Vicky's Diner project? Or something, perhaps, for.. SPACE TUNA! :ahhh:
