Are you sure that the item you are trying to buy isn't new - doesn't have a diagonal flash saying new at top-right of the image?

Actually, it discounted for me a new DO.
And no, it doesn't have to be ONE $20 or more item. Jaki, are you still online?

More confusion, using the ballerina bundle & razor thorn textures (first daz original non-new item I saw).

Ballerina bundle: $29.95 standard price, I see $14.68 discounted (yay platinum club) on the store page.

Razor thorn textures $19.95 standard price, I see $13.96 discounted (PC 30%) on the store page

Drop down cart subtotal: $28.65 (shouldbe $28.64, the $0.01 is probably a fraction that isn't showing up on the store page from the % discounts, but that isn't exactly our biggest problem ATM)

    The cart itself shows:

Ballerina bundle $9.56 ($4.50 lower than it should be because.... reasons?)

Razor thorn textures $9.09 ($4.87 below PC discount, $10.86 below standard price)

    $18.65 total.

I can only assume that punches are factoring in to part of this in some way. However I had loaded up the daz store as a break from crunching numbers for the 3d printer I'm working on. I'm now going back to working on it because computing acceleration curves for stepper motors is easier than figuring out these sales.

Daz: I buy stuff from you. A lot of stuff. An ungainly amount of stuff. I already treat your store as a jeweler's shop (if it isn't at least 50% off, skip it). Most everyone can figure out percentile discounts. Discounts after spending X dollars are pretty simple too. For this sale we need to cross reference an unadvertised percentile discount gained from quantity of items purchased in a week against either list sale or special discount price of a store bought item and modify that number by what else is in the checkout cart now or bought within the last week, add in a discount code voucher, and then refine the percent discounts again based on what class of item (PA, DO, ???) and then re do the math again to figure out if the modifiers are additive or multiplicative and in what combination.

THEN we get to find out if the price is showing up right in the card (the full page display cart, not the quick view cart that neer shows the right price).

    Simplify your sales. Please.

LOL, no joke. I have the 30% punch discount, so I had to go through and see which ones were DO's and frankly took them out of my cart, making sure I had $20 worth, then checked out with ONLY the non-affected items (meaning no DO's) then did a second, separate order with just DOs. That made it simple except for the one item that was both a DO and punch item, but as long as the total taken off is $10 then you know you're good. I'm not complaining because it's 10.00 I wouldn't have gotten otherwise, but totally agree it can be "ARRRRGGHHH!" to figure out.

Just separate your order into $20 of DO's and do another order of everything else. And enjoy the $10 off.

Pirtnac- also do a screenshot of your cart and save it, in case there is a question of how much you paid for something. Not necessarily for sales, but for daily things, if there is a better price within 30 days you get the difference as a credit. The cart makes it impossible to know what each item actually came to in the "final version." Screenshots of the cart (once you open it up, and before checkout) are invaluable. :)

Why do these offers always exclude new releases, don't you think most people have already purchased a majority of the back catalogue which makes it very hard to make good on the offer, or is that the point of the offer?

Some will have, some won't have. There will always be one vendo,r or another, whose wares you may have not purchased, but would consider by virtue of the sale. As a result, some weeks there have been lots to choose from, for me, and others, not as much. That's the nature of a sale.

It's made me look closer at the products I originally bypassed and go to thumbnail promos- and I've been really pleased as some of my finds. So while I thought I had gotten most of what I would use, there were some goodies that I hadn't discovered. I just went to the featured stores and starting clicking sets and props (I have waaaay too many characters) and after the punch discount and the 50%, some of the things I normally wouldn't buy were definitely appealing. Many were co-DAZ products. (Had a vendor plus DAZ) Have you used your discount yet Kharma?

I thought I had all of stonemason's items, but apparently I do not have Dystopian Medbay.

haven't used it yet as I don't have all day to sit here and figure out what will work and what won't unfortunately, as I am sure most people don't have that much time on there hands , so I am going to give it one more try and if it doesn't work I guess I lose out the savings :(
