Your favorite G2F Model?

Hey everyone! I was kinda wondering, what is everyone´s favorite G2F model. I mean the official ones from Daz.
Most of them I am only judging by the promos as I don´t own them.
Here goes my list. I have separated it to two, realistic models and not realistic models.
REALISTIC:
1. Lilith 6
2. Olympia 6
3. Victoria 6
4. Gia 6
5. Stephanie 6
6. Teen Josie 6
NOT-REALISTIC:
1. Aiko 6
2. Giselle 6
3. The Girl 6
Also feel free to vote for your overall favorite!
And one last question, what kind of G2F model would you like to see in the store? I think we could really use a realistic looking asian female model by DAZ.

I don't really use Real-World females that much, so I can't really rank them. In fact, most of my characters involve GenX carry-overs. However, if I had to rank them based on nothing more than my own superficiality:
REALISTIC:
1. Teen Josie 6
2. Lilith 6
3. Stephanie 6
4. Victoria 6
5. Olympia 6
6. Gia 6
NOT-REALISTIC:
1. Giselle 6
2. Aiko 6
3. The Girl 6
Hey there! Wow Josie first? : ) I had her last because I really don´t like how she´s probably supposed to be a realistic teen girl, yet she still looks like a doll. I was wondering whether to put her into not realistic ones for a while.
I do like her body shape though : )
Greetings,
Interesting; you should put G2F base in there also, as it's a pretty good basic character, also.
I haven't particularly ranked them, but I like Giselle, Aiko, Josie, and Stephanie. I only just a few days ago got Gia, my last Gen6 holdout, and that because I had a $30 off DAZ O coupon (plus $10 off >$20, so an effective $40 off DAZ O's) that was going to go to waste otherwise.
So I'll try:
R: Josie, Base G2F, Stephanie, Olympia, Lilith, Victoria, Gia.
UR: Giselle, Aiko, Girl
But most of my renders have deeply mixed characters from all over the place, and then tweaked dials, so it's hard to say.

Yeah, like some other members here, I tend to make most of my characters either teenage (15 - 17) or young adult (18 - 20). Where Josie & Jayden are supposed to be mid-to-late teens, their bases definitely aids in that workflow. But as I also said, most of my characters are stylized/fictitious-looking, particularly in the toon/anime side of the spectrum, so I use GenX imports of Aiko & Hiro nearly constantly.
Though, surprisingly enough, I actually found myself favoring Giselle over Aiko this run. Aiko definitely looks great, don't get me wrong, but she doesn't have that soft, cute "3D Anime Girl" charm that predecessors like Aiko 3 and Hitomi has. Giselle is very graceful and innocent-looking in a more Fantasy style, something we've never really had as an official Iconic character until now. So it's exciting to finally have something like her in the DAZ family.
Plus, Giselle and Josie are both slim female builds and have ballet themes to them. These are things I've always found attractive in young females. That, and an otaku dancer friend of mine loves creating renders with me, so we're always looking to stock-up on the niche. :)
Maybe you could remove that feature entirely, it just confuses people who didn't read the TOS or forgot a point.
Greetings,
Maybe you could remove that feature entirely, it just confuses people who didn't read the TOS or forgot a point. The problem is, at least by my understanding, that DAZ can't selectively disable polls. The forum software is an 'all or nothing' beast with respect to polls, so if they disable them, then DAZ's forum admins can't run polls either. They're unwilling to take that feature away, in case they might use it. (For example, when voting on items to drop to PC prices for a week, during the PC Anniversary Sale. Not that they WILL do that again, but they like having the option available.)
So because of the limitations (autocorrect wanted that to be lamentations) of the Magento-related forum software, they can't do a class-of-user disable at this time. If there's ever a significant rewrite/revamp of the forum software as has been...suggested in the past, then maybe that will be another feature.

I'm not going to rank them except for my favorite is Giselle, my least favorite is Lillith.
I just love G2F! The character mixing is endless and the more you have the more you can mix.
I use GF2 most of the time, but I don't have any of the DAZ addon characters other than V6, Just don't see the point as i know I can get close myself and i have never been happy with any of the body shapes in any character package. I either use my own customs with GenX or make new ones with the morphs and/or zbrush. Who knows, maybe one will come out one day that will make me go "WOW, i need that one!"
Plus, it's kinda neat to know that the figure shape you are using is unique, LOL.
Olympia
Hard for me to choose, but I'd probably argue that Victoria gets the most mileage, with Teen Josie being a very close second. I'm happy to say there isn't a single Daz character I'm missing in the G2F line so far, but I tend to use the figures mostly for what they're aimed at.
I want to learn how to utilize scripts to create a random figure every time. It's the sort of thing which would be ideal for creating crowds.
Second that!
Least favorite Lilith.
As I own only three G2F figures, my list is rather short:
- G2F Base
- Lilith, though I had to dial my special 'Base Lilith' with shorter legs and a bigger head; don't know why the proportions of this figure are so unnatural. Maybe someone at DAZ thought that the longer the legs, the sexier the figure; but this can end up in very grotesque looks...)
- V 6
I'm not a big user of Genesis 2 but I'll cast another vote for Olympia. She has a friendly, natural looking face and a figure that can be used for a real-world woman as well as fantasy. Stephanie 6 looks interesting though I don't own her yet.
While I'm not keen on some of the others, the PA add-ons can make me take a second look, e.g. Drucilla for Lilith 6 looks amazing even though I have no interest in Lilith.
Like others here, I'd rarely use a base model 'as is' though.
I agree with Jindi. I also lean towards custom morphs, but sometimes a stock project approaches and I need a base. Many morphs require one of the DO girls, I got V6 for free and could finally use Wachiwi. Raiya's women followed :).
PS Giselle because of her face reminding me of Wednesday Addams :D.
I don't really like any of the Daz characters, but I buy them all so I can mix them with other morphs. I consider them great starting points for my custom characters.
Gianni. :)
Leon of the Night Michael5
Olympia is probably my favorite, I think she has the most unique look (that can still be used for somewhat realistic renders). Gia is a close second for pretty much the same reason. Victoria, Lilith, Stephanie and Josie are kind of tied, I like them all, but for very different reasons.
Josie would probably rank a bit higher if she looked more like a real person, but she looks a bit too much like a doll and is way too tall.
As for the non-realistic characters: 1)The Girl 2) Giselle 3) Aiko
Greetings,
Well, for the boys, it's Dan. Then....I think Dan. Probably followed by Dan.;)
Seriously though, I liked David 5 semi-stock, but M6, Gianni, and Lee are mostly interesting for what they enable other PA's to do with their morphs, I almost never start from a Gen6 male, but rather from a 3rd-party male character and then go from there.
And it's usually Dan.

LOL <3</p>
Hey everyone! It seems like Olympia is a lot of ppls favorite character! Also, feel free to share your ideas for upcoming models, what kind of new G2F model you´d like to see? I´m curious what everyone´s thinking : )
As for the boys I probably like Michael 6 best.
I woild be interested in more men and children. If women, well... Ethnic ones. Africans, Southern Americans. If there is so specialised Lee (and Mei Lin in the works), it is possible. And A3 realistic - but I now somebody is working on that.
I will tell about men if you agree. Hiro 6 with characters like Dryden. An African pal for Lee. David 6. And a cute guy for Giselle! And G6!
By the way, my pairings are:
M6 V6
O6 Gianni
Gia Lee (have not seen Mei Lin)
Jayden Josie
Well something I would like to see is a male counterpart for The Girl. Since she's a toon, you can't really use her with any of the current male Gen6 characters which really limits her usability. Vicky can make out with Lee or Gianni or Michael, but The Girl is just always alone.
Of course any non-white character would be appreciated too, but what can we expect given that for DAZ, apparently, releasing so much as a freckled character would be a mindblowing act of innovation and risk...
Good idea with the male version of G6! Also a real ginger character with freckles sounds great! : )
So we've got at least three persons who would like to pair G6, neat! Though, as I'm thinking now... Barbuary, before DAZ does something, buy her a diamond necklace. Diamonds are the girl's best friends .
Dave, I agree. If DAZ could release Lee 6, who is very specialised, then we can expect African man and woman, Irish man and woman, Polynesian man and woman, Northern American man and woman... and Mei Lin, of course, let's not forget about her.
Girl technically already has PA-brand counterpart, pdxjims's "Guy". However, he only had a Gen 4 incarnation.
Someone REALLY needs to track down pdxjims, we need a new Guy and She Freak!
I'll stick to my own character which I've had since shortly after V4.2 was released, her names Jenni and that's her in the middle of the attached pic. On the left is her Genesis version, a lot of work went into converting her as I don't have GenX or the V4 shape, so the conversion was done by hand as was the rig changes. On the right is the G2F version, conversion was much easier thanks to the Genesis clone.
Hello there Bejaymac! I really like your character! How did you create her? Did you use morphs for V4.2 to get your desired shape and then you transferred that shape to Genesis figures or did you also make changes to the figure in a modeling program? One way or another, she does have a nice shape : )
