I like her body. Nice job.
REALISTIC:
Olympia 6
Victoria 6
Stephanie 6
Teen Josie 6
Gia 6
Lilith 6
NOT-REALISTIC:
Aiko 6
Giselle 6
The Girl 6
Looking at this it is kind of weird because IRL I prefer petite athletic body shapes. I guess they got all the curves right when they made Olympia and Aiko....
We need a Girl Next Door shape for G2F
I don't have all those morph "packs" for Gen[eration] 6 (Genesis 2). This is a bit different with Genesis 2 than with Gen 4. One thing remains the same with both these platforms. When you get your new *CHARACTER* morph downloaded and installed (no folks it is not a separate *FIGURE*), you will see that its shape is now available in Genesis 2 Base, which is the Figure.
The shared feature of Gen 4 and Gen 6 is that ALL your morphs, character morphs are available to use freely in the one Figure. OR as with Gen 4, a separate .cr2 (or .duf) is saved at install time that has only the one characters morph. Such as Aiko 6, for example. THAT is quite useful, to have all the characters and morphs in the one Figure.
SO. My favorite character is, hands down, Aiko 6. That morph is the only reason I've spent a penny on Genesis at all. :-)
McG.
But does it bend?
But does it bend?
At least as well as the original. (I personally think better.)
Nice!! She does transfer well into G2F. I use her with Genesis and GenX but would really like to see Blackhearted make a complete
updated GND for G2F. I haven't seen Blackhearted do much in some time though... May have to break down and eventually get Gen X2.

It isn't too far from GF2 shape, so I suppose thats understandable. I imagine that there will still be some some distortion the hip/thigh, torso and shin bends?
It isn't too far from GF2 shape, so I suppose thats understandable. I imagine that there will still be some some distortion the hip/thigh, torso and shin bends? The problem isn't the bends, in most cases, the problem is that the shape is so extreme that some clothing items don't look good on the shape. (But then again, that has always been the case with Blackhearted characters, and to be fair, in real life. LOL)
The hip to thigh connection can show some distortion in more extreme poses, the rest, no issues that I have seen. .
Thats one of the problems with most morphs it seems. T-pose is fine, but without JCMs bends distort to some degree.
Hmm, my favorite shapes for general, realistic use as a starting shape are actually G2F and Olympia 6. Lilith 6 is a close follow-up there. In contrast to the Genesis base the G2F base it actually very good as a starting point for dialing from my point of view. In addition, if I need a child / teen then I am using the "Growing Up" set by Zev0 mostly. For more stylised or fantasy approach it is Aiko 6 or Giselle 6 I am choosing.
This is just listing the generation 6 based shapes / morphs as I am also using e.g. the Aiko 5 shape quite often (via the G2F legacy shapes from Slosh and before that release straight via GenX2 transfer).
True, but I'm not comfortable with changes to the weight map. The editor is very slow to respond and can only be saved globally. I find changes to the rigging to be useful, but only when combined with JCMs.

True I'm sure, but the V4 version doesn't use a weight map or JCMs. My approach is that G2F FBM morphs that do not utilize JCM are almost always compromised/bound by the global weight map.
And so most FBM differ very little from default GF2 shape. For instance Giselle, superficially very different to the base G2F, but it is more a collection of scale changes to body parts than an actual sculpted FBM.

GND4 does have JCM, they just don't correct as well as the weight mapping in G2F does. Giselle is definitely sculpted, in addition to the use of the animatable joint centers and endpoints. I am not sure what you are trying to claim, but you are either using the wrong terminology or are coming at this from the wrong assumptions.
My mistake.
If I have a point its that relying on the weight map is bad for creativity.
Realistic:
A tie between Olympia and Stephanie
Victoria
Gia
Josie
Stylized:
Girl
Aiko
Giselle
Lilith
Yes I put Lilith in Stylized her proportions are way off. Her waist is so high and legs so long that there's no hope of making her look remotely like a real human being. I am actually irritated that she's described as "full-figured".
What I would like next? David 6 first. And I want David 6 to follow in the tradition of being the non-musclebound male. Following that a proper full-figured lady: a waist of 28 inches or larger, arms that are curvy rather than straight a less ridiculous thigh gap. I think I'll just have to content myself with D6 however.
Most of my G2F experiments are done with the base model, then dialling in/out various other character attributes to get unique alternative appearances.
With that said?
What convinced me to properly make the move over to Genesis 2 were the V6 and M6 HD morphs. I guess they often substitute for a generic male or female character if I want them to look good and need something in a hurry. I also find that their HD morphs are perfectly fine to make other characters look like they're HD, too. I also like experimenting with the HD-like V6 Displacement product, to make her even more realistic. Seems it's more for adding realism to the basic skin surface detail.
Girl 6 has become an absolute favourite. I want to find more excuses to render her, if anything! She's just a stunningly realistic Pixar-quality stylised cartoon figure. There are times when I'm about to do an attempt at a serious piece of art, then just dial in Girl 6 over the top of whatever the character is, just to see what the resulting combination would look like. :)
Domina is an amazing piece of work, too. I've got some amazing results with combining, say, Domina's skin with the V6 HD shapes.
Felicity HD is astonising, too. An incredibly beautiful ethnic character.
Few mention her, but I really love Heroine. I like some of my female characters to have a very strong, hard-edged look and she has a wonderfully unique appearance. I keep getting tempted to get Gia 6 and combine them and might well do during this sale. A lot of G2F characters get released and I honestly find it difficult to tell the difference between them, because they often all conform to a very similar facial template. Characters like Heroine fill that niche for a compellingly strong look.
Recently got the discounted Naida and Nalin bundle. Not quite sure why a male character was done for the G2F base, but the female counterpart, Naida, filled the elegant look I was in need of for a character! A lot of G2F heads seem strangely wide and Naida is one of the few with a slender, more feminine head. The moment I discovered the promotional images did, indeed, do her justice, I knew her facial shape is going to come in tremendously useful for several recent projects.
Further honourable character mentions:
Wachiwi, Serena, Ariadne, Yanmei, Vianne and Saskia.
Because G2M wasn't released yet when those characters were made.
I was probably a bit over-zealous with the doesn't exist, real people can have some crazy proportions for sure, my sister and myself to a lesser extent are actually the inverse of you: normal torso, shorter legs. I can definitely sympathize with finding clothes that fit though, I've accepted the fact that I will never be able to wear a tailored shirt unless I make it myself.
I'll admit I'm mostly salty about the whole "full figured" thing. As someone who would love a genuinely full figured character, It really did piss me off a bit
Same here. The only reason I picked up the Lilith base was to apply Drucilla, but she doesn't look anything like the promo images. Not to mention the nipples don't line up with the texture. Am I doing something wrong? Has anyone else seen this?
Greetings,
Check your UVs? Drucilla uses the G2F UV, not the Lilith UV, so it's possible you're dialing in Lilith, and the texture application isn't changing the UV for whatever reason. That's the most common cause of 'doesn't line up' problems with skin textures, at least.
