It's free to buy nothing?
I'm not interested (and haven't been buying) but can folks who are doing this use it on interactive licenses then?

Well, today's promotion is IMO a rather unsatisfiying end to those streak sales for getting the 20% off next week:
- No possibility of extra discount for those new releases
- A rather steep price for the PA bundle
- 3 of those releases to buy for getting the $25 off with the costly bundle being just one of them (should be bundle or 3 releases as the bundle price equals 3 other new releases)
- and finally lots of bundles in the $25 off section for which owned items do not count. Would love to finally get some of those but I won't pay the full bundle price if I own already parts of it. Why is this not standard but rather offered only on some days. Not to mention that it should work on PA bundles as well IMO.
I'll probably get $25 worth of stuff for earning that final 5% but I might ignore those - otherwise really nice - new releases for the moment.
Talking about new releases. I am fully aware that new releases are excluded from next weeks streak discount. But I wonder whether this makes sense. I have lots of new releases in my wishlist which I won't get at 30% off. Now with the streak discount working on them I might think about getting them for 44% off and not wait once they are out of the 60 days introduction period and qualifying for higher discounts. Well, DAZ decides what is offered, I decide what I buy ;-)
If you have to buy, then it isn't free - it is yet another variation on BOGOF which is also not free - it is a discount on two items.
Also frustrating: many items are in several sales day after day. In most times I have the feeling that I paid to much "the day before".
The $25 purchase can be from anything. Doesn't have to be anything from tonight if you're not interested in them.
Can it be a gift card?
Thought the same thing when i read the details. Free is Free..... not BUY this much and get these too. When you don't have to buy/pay for anything and you get content, then its free.
My understanding is yes. You just can't use the resulting discount to buy any gift cards.
Exept that BOGOF stands for Buy One Get One Free, so the acronym quoted seems to disagree with the point being asserted.

Agreed. But I'd call it a bonus. Free is: Here, take this for free. This is: buy this and I'll throw in that. It's a bonus.

Actually, that's even worse! Nothing on that list is $5, so you don't get any of them for free, just a $5 discount. At least, that's how the wording makes me think of it. Let's face it, $5 worth of $10, is not free, it's pay $5 for this $10 item. That's a 50% discount. Free is a 100% discount! Word games.

Now this becomes interesting, so if I buy a 100 USD gift card today, will I get the 20% discount next week? Or did I had to buy one 25 USD gift card every day of the discount-streak-offer-period which makes it not that interesting.
I wish these offers we're more clear.

But I am not even disappointed anymore. If they advertise some "free" stuff, I expect that I have to buy a ton of other products first. So I don't even click on the banner anymore.
Only if they write something like "absolutely free" I get my hopes up a bit.

Newbie here...how do you get these best prices emails? Are these specific "favorite" vendor type emails? Because I've already got a bunch of favorite vendors, but I don't know how to shop just their sales.
Yep, if you wanted a few of the bundles yesterday, they would have been a lot cheaper combined with the free items sale the day before. Looks like my discount will be 10% for the first two days, since I didn't want yesterday's bundle, and I don't see today happening. And I am fine with that.
There is a browser extension called Daz Deals that you can get for various browsers. It's not made by Daz, but by some of the forum regulars. It adds some really nice functions to the website, such as sort by percent off, and adds a recent price graph to product pages. Unfortunately, it has been a little broken for Chrome lately, and requires me to reinstall each time after I close my browser. But the extra seconds effort is worth it. If you do get it, go into the extension options to set up your desired emails. You can decide when you are notified, and how deep the discounts should be. The email options don't have to be redone or reinstalled, so if that's all you care about, it's an easy one time setup. I have also heard that it still works fine with Firefox.
Do I need time machine to go back? Or Daz office is two days behind the world? Offer runs Wednesday???
The flash sale says that as a PC+ member I get 65% off but I am only getting 60% off.
ditto, only getting 60 not 65 ... any chance it might get fixed before the sale ends?
