is the house attached to the hill bit? Removing the house takes away the hill as well? (For any others that have it, I’ll let Novica sleep) laugh

Bad news. Removing the house takes away the hill and stairs. You can't even just hide the house by turning down opacity because there is no mesh under the house. There are no separate loadable props, as suggested by the what's included. I actually might return this, because the product description was misleading. I also was interested in using it without the house, and thought the props lists meant I could.

Oh damn. I was hoping for the hillside to at least remain.

Honestly I am so lost without access to the browser add on, even just to see if there are any images in gallery.

@jakiblue   Under surfaces, there are many sections- yes you can turn off the house separately from the vegetation, the stairs are separate, the stairs are on cliff face which is separate, etc. So while you can't identify all the parts in Scene, they are there in Surfaces. It just doesn't look good, frankly. There is cliff face which is different from rock face.  However, these are all very square and blocky and do not look realistic from MOST camera shots. I'm moving the camera around right now and the only good shot is from water level, with the camera turned so a bush hides most of the scene. So although there are different sections, they are square, blocky, and look like something is "missing."  Where the mill goes leaves a weird gap  Here's a few examples.   (These are only rendered at 0%, to give you an idea only)

subscribing to a thread hasn't worked from my since way way back so I turned off notifications all together for all threads.

@Novica, I have that set and after looking at your renders, my first reaction was the aftermath of a horrendous flood surge or hurricane or something... (Except for that tree floating in the air!) Isn't there a product that will bust-up sets. I wonder what might happen if used on the house?)

    Novica, thanks for the renders!

  • NovicaNovica Posts: 23,887

@jakiblue   Sure. I was disappointed in the blocky environment, aka squared off sections, but honestly the water renders really well and if anyone needs just a good water plane and good vegetation instances it is worth the 1.99

I just got back from seeing Mom, my sister, niece, and my great nephews are in town so we had my birthday cake in mom's room :)   Yep today was the big 65th. I celebrated today by getting back on track walking my miles, I have been working on the book so much I had to let it slide awhile. 6.75 miles so far and doing at least .25 more to get to 7 miles. Have to walk off that CAKE  lol.

That one invest is now up to 60% but I think that is the one that stays to the south in the Caribbean. The other one is a lower Georgia/ Florida Jax area with rain and some wind. Wish we could send the rain out West to the fire areas which are dry. And hope you folks out in Seattle, etc get a break from that heat!

I bought the mill house too. The stairs and greenery over the water was the clincher for me.

Happy Birthday! That's a fun crew you got to spend time with.

Today in the southeastern mountains of USA it was 91 degrees Fahrenheit as I mowed the lawn so I feel for those in the northwest & the Canadians as I can remember visiting in July in Montreal and freezing because the high was in the 70s. It was easier than last year mowing when it was this nearly this hot even though it was hotter this year. I got done much faster too which I like because it's a drag. I did get a bit sunburnt though as usual.

    Hey, Happy Birthday for yesterday!

Happy Birthday a little late Novica! You are blessed with your family and friends.

Having been in the Mojave Desert for a 24 hour period for a crash recovery in 120 degree heat, I feel for those who are not used to those temps. So many coastal homes built in the Western and Northwestern US before the 1980s don't have A/C and those on the coast today often don't. I expect that is changing though. Before I moved from the Central Coast, I noticed the number of days we felt the Santa Ana winds and heat go from a few days in the summer to weeks in the summer, and the year I moved, the grass was burned down and the earth was grey due to drought, and fires common.

Thanks everyone, and @xmasrose @robertfriese what beautiful cards!

The 1.99 item selection is nicely varied, but even at 1.99 there are just some things I know I'll never use. I'm still puzzled as to why they are doing this when the regular PC+ sale is in the fall.

Interesting- someone pointed out there are products in the 1.99 sale again  (EDIT 3.99 but still cheaper)which are part of an expensive bundle (which is not on sale.) Buying the products individually is MUCH cheaper than the bundle. If you haven't spotted them, just PM me and I'll let you know. (many people have already, and I just got online.)  It's not a glitch as they have done this several times in the past few weeks with the PCFAD.

    Edited that it's 3.99 not 1.99 but it's still a lot cheaper than 38.95

Huh. In the current $1.99 for PC members Flash Sale, that Message Magic bundle is there. The individual items have popped up in the PC for a day recently so if you didn’t get them then, the entire bundle is now only $1.99

i had purchased two of the plugins two days ago, waiting for the base item to turn up - which it did in today’s fubar’d PCFAD - and ended up getting the base at $3.99 Just purchased the far cheaper bundle and sent in request for refund on my earlier order lol.

@jakiblue thanks for letting us know there was a flash sale!  I would have missed it.

Even better yet grab this entire bundle for $2 whereas the individual items are on sale for $3

    Thank you @Novica.

Didn't know about the flash sale either.

Anybody has Daz Studio 4 Scene Tools Set 3 - Pose Symmetry ? What do you think of it? Seems useful and saving time. Thank you.

I get the emails for new sales/new daz promos from my options chosen in the browser Addon. I happened to wake up - it was about 2ish AM here and my sleep has been disrupted lately - and checked emails on the iPad. Pretty good selection of items in there! It’s better than the actual PCFAD. Lol

That’s the one I meant! I keep calling it message magic instead of message shirt magic lol
