Real 8.1 or masquerading as one?

For anyone keeping score, Vo Rose by VOOTW is all G8.1.  PBR materails, G8.1 UV.  Not only that, and my experience is pretty limited, but she's got the nicest PBR skin texture I've seen yet.  I find that , particular with spectral rendering (if you can work around the pesky seams either with clothing or a little postwork), except, perhaps for the eyes and nails, which you can find elsewhere.

The one thing that's concerning about PBR skins is that, because of the AO maps, it's no longer a simple thing to transfer materials from one character to another.  You can end up with some strange-looking shadows if you just slap on textures.
