Uh oh. Somebody said the "V" word. I've been wondering if all these giveaways of older models are a prelude to another round of Vaulting...

Nor do I - but it's on my wishlist now. I don't want to buy it, then discover it went on sale later in the month - it takes time and manual intervention to get store credit applied to my account.

I have a new name for those marvellous freebies: the Thrilling Twelve!

But after the vauting, those who bought them can still get them, can't they? Because I need to make an external backup then...

THere is no suggestion that there is going to be any vaulting done, that is just speculation. However, as always, if a DAZ 3D product is in your product Library, then it will always be accessible.

Even vaulted items are staying in your product library ... no problem there!

DOES somebody know how comes we get 12 free items each weak? Is there a promotion or something?
Or is it just for people who are looking at their wishlists?
    Diligently store searchers?
    I am curious ...

I think it's for diligent store searchers as you gently put it :). I just use http://www.daz3d.com/people?cat=2 and sort by price. Everything shows up.

Besides, I was given $5 off DAZ Originals (excluding new releases and gift cards) just by using SHARECG in the coupon field. No special price minimum or expiration date is listed. Nice.

Thanks for reminding me to check. New stuff I didn't pick up a few days ago has been added. =)

I actually stumbled upon a page that listed the twelve freebies along with other things available for free (stuff that's been free for a while, like Starter Essentials and the tutorial bundles), but unfortunately I don't recall the URL or how I got there (pretty sure it was by clicking on a DAZ 3D banner ad on some other site).

I think we've just made a discovery of the year.

I was browsing ShareCG and two banners were showing up despite the fact I have AdBlock. They weren't annoying or something, just sitting in the unused area on the right side of the screen. I took screenshots and, taking a deep breath (and hoping my Norton isn't sleeping :P), I CLICKED.

    The following pages showed up:

    http://www.daz3d.com/freebies?utm_source=sharecg&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=Freebies

    http://www.daz3d.com/technology?utm_source=sharecg&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=Genesis

So it looks like one certain person behind the curtains is making us happy again. The only thing is that, as far as I know, Jamie Hair is not shipped with DS (it is shown on the second picture, between Fiery Genesis and Barefoot Dancer).

By the way, the code doesn't require a minimum price, but it works once for each customer.

Now the freebies make more sense. Daz is paying to have banner ads on ShareCG.com that link back to Daz. What better way to attract people on a freebie site than offering freebies? Good marketing plan. I'm certainly enjoying it! :-) It also looks like the ads rotate. Different ads at different times.

Something like that ;). Did you see more than those two advertisments I linked to?

...I wish they'd Fstgrab just the base figures. Don't really care for a lot of what is included in the bundles as most of the clothing is either fantasy or skimpwear (or both).

Are there any free ways of using this nice uniform ?

I do not own Aiko or the Aiko clone bases and Transfer Utility fails miserably trying to fit this to Genesis 1/2 :-(

Not free, but http://www.daz3d.com/anime-star-fighter includes Aiko 3 and is a lot cheaper than Aiko 3 alone, especially if you're PC.

I wasn't going to download this because I had gotten the fighters when they were free earlier. However, when I looked closer, I saw an elephant was part of the SciFi bundle. huh, I didn't know there were elephants in space, but I grabbed it just for the elephant because I didn't have one yet.

    New freebie. Viking poses: http://www.daz3d.com/valkyrie-poses-for-shieldmaiden

Ah, I didn't see the little pc+ symbol. I just looked at the 100% off. The website's new look is a little confusing. Usually I have to go hunting for the pc+ freebie. It isn't usually on the front page when I log in.

    ...There is also this:

    http://www.daz3d.com/3d-starter-bundle-scifi

It includes what's in the Anime Starfighter plus the base Daz Mil Animals LE and Mil Dragon. It is still free (I think) for non PC members.

Apparently it has been changed a bit as back when I got it (as the 3D Bridge Starter Pack) it still also included the Pronghorn Antelope, Zebra, and Basic Songbird.

Just signed off the site to see, and yes it is still free if you are not a PC member.

The captain's uniform works perfectly on the Aiko 3 default body. The suit has no morphs in it, however. That might explain why it does not work well on Genesis 1/2.

Here's "Captain Mulberry" using the captain's suit and A3 Mulberry.
