Hi, I just joined the platinum club again after ages away, and can't access the PC forum. I'm not showing up as a Platinum Club member on my profile, but it is showing up in my store account. No doubt it's just a delay, but I figured I'd mention it anyway. :)

Will make sure it's looked into ASAP, sorry for the delay :)

and welcome back to the PC :)

Is this still a continual problem? I just re-upped my Plat Club sub, and I have no access to (nor can I see) the Plat Club forums. :/ Well, I'm happy to be back in it, at least. :D

It appears to be, unfortunately.. but I'll make the call and get it sorted.

Welcome back to the PC :)

Yup, still have the issue. The one thing I trust about Daz is they always get this stuff sorted, sooner or later. :P

Hi Jack, I just joined the PC Plus club this morning but while the store is perfect I am not able to access the PC forums.

I have logged out and then logged back in but I am still being listed as a regular member and not as part of the PC+ Club.

Really Looking forward to being a part of it! :-)

    Hey Kinnie,

As far as I know it takes a little while for the site to catch up, so sit tight and it should show up soon.

If you have still have trouble say tomorrow, just drop me a PM and I'll fire an email into the team.

Welcome to the PC, too ;)

Did you submit a suppot ticket? You are listed as a regular member and not a PC member which is why you can access it.

I get PC prices but can't access the forum. It's exactly the same thing as last time and back then support only suggested ineffectual remedies like switching browsers etc.

I'm not support, but what Frank is referring to is your User Profile, which shows you as in the 'Member Group: Members', as opposed to (just as an example) my profile which has 'Member Group: Platinum Club Members'. That's what needs to be fixed, and it's not a browser-based issue, or anything.

Filing a ticket pointing out that your 'Current Status' in your PC+ account info page is 'Active' (please, please double-check that, just to be sure), and your 'Expiration Date' is whatever future date it is set to, and that your forum account has not been updated to place you in the Member Group of Platinum Club Members.

I'm fairly confident that they won't tell you to 'try with a different browser' when you point out that your account is specifically not in the right group.

Now, they MAY tell you to log out and log back in again from the forum (or log in with a browser that wasn't already logged in) when they change your member group, because it may be stored in a cookie in your browser currently, and that needs to get cleared.

I just realized the PC Club forum link has vanished from my options of forums to choose from.

Oh well, never went there much anywhere, never any interesting conversations there and didn't care for it, so no big loss.

It does feel like a sign though; I've been thinking it's way past time to cancel my membership anyway.

I just reactivated my PC+ subscription, how long does it take for the forum to update my account?

EDIT: I'm fixed now :) I can see the member's area
