Josh Crockett makes a lot of great creatures, and the War Goblin is another nice addition. He doesn't seem to make male and female versions of his characters though. It's usually either/or as far as I've seen. Another missing feature of his characters is textures for anatomical elements. They can only be cartoon naked I guess.

Too bad it's 8,1 only, so it's a no buy for me. But I just have not enough money to rebuy all the expression packs in 8.1 versions and I'm too lazy to fiddle around to make the G8 versions working with G8.1

Not sure how accurate this is, but the promo pages say it is compatible with Genesis 8 Male also.

I've no idea how I missed the 8.1 in the name/description. Glad I saw this thread and had not purchased him. Too bad, as he looks great, but 8.1 is not for me.

that is my biggest gripe also. it's not like it's a child figure. I had to make my own with the hobgoblin. It came out ok, but lacked the quality of the rest of the figure. Looks like I'll be passing on this one for now.

For me, I like my male adult figures intact. I don't like the Barbie look, and monsters are more realistic  when they are complete. Fortunately rawart makes his monsters more or less intact.

Are you using Daz 4.12? The new PBR shader requires 4.15

Oops - I'm glad it was that simple.  Nope, I heard bad things about 4.15 so hadn't upgraded.  Thanks for that!  It's frustrating seeing them in the textures but not having them work.

I would keep copies of both versions of Daz on your computer if you have the space. 4.15 can eat up a lot of extra RAM. I installed mine to different drives, and that keeps them separate. I also keep the installers just in case.

I don't like the new PBR shader because 4.15 uses so much extra memory. I use the base figure in 4.12 though. 

Edit: Actually, sometimes it's a hassle to use the new figure. Clothes don't fit the way they should right away. You have to take a bunch of extra steps. If you don't plan on using the face rig, there's no point.

I cant use 4.15 well. It is too much of a memory soak.

I'm still using 4.10 because of the iRay requirements for GTX cards and have no intention of upgrading. No dForce hair, pretty new smiles, and PB&J skin can convince me otherwise. We can't all keep up with technology's demands.

(I'm sure someone knows of what this refers)

*though they stopped mentioning a half human group from the setting which would have possibly given them dangly bits, but that was ages ago when there was loads of currently "non canon" stuff. Though then again, if they have no dangly bits, why do they bother wearing loincloths? I have spoken too much about dangly bits now.

I use 4.15, but don't use 8.1 when I can avoid it because the powerpose templates are still broken, and it needs workarounds to do some basic 8 stuff.

Also, the new UV layout is a bit pointless, and vellus hair is only needed in extreme closeups, so there isn't really much point over the normal base other than for women with dangly bits.

But if they fixed all the powerpose/missing morph problems, then it would be more tempting.

i don;t use nudes so danglies and stuff do not matter to me. They get covered with cloth. I suppose though, you could get a nice male crotch bulge with dforce pants if you had them attached.
