I though Jessica Chastain at first (red hair), but then again, she doesn't remind me of anyone in particular. Like Rogerbee said, a V4 with a nice texture ;)

As for Fugitive, I don't know as well. Perhaps she's just a generic tough lady.

Nah, I can't place Fugitive either.

Are you working on anyone new?

    CHEERS!

Mmm, don't know, I'm not familiar with her character. Perhaps she's from a season I've not seen yet.

There was a discussion (I can't find it now) about how Genesis1's fewer polygons make emulating specific people a bit difficult. Is Genesis2's greater poly density making it any easier? Anybody given this a shot yet?

I realize it's early since G2 just came out yesterday, but I'm currently on the "no" side of the buy/don't-buy fence and I'm looking for things that'd make it worth my while.

Genesis 1 has more polygons than V4 when at usual subdivision levels. It's only low poly at base resolution. And you can add any level of detailing you like with normal maps (which both Poser and DS support nowadays).

Personally I think all the proclaimed advantages of Genesis 2 are pretty bogus, and all the Genesis 1 'issues' stated have solutions without any new figure (like just making actual proper custom morphs in clothes for the main male and female shapes, not just relying on autofit, and providing alternate UVs for upperbody clothing for use on bug breasted female shapes to deal with texture stretching issues). I rather think the whole reason for the Genesis 2 product is simply to increase revenue by getting everyone (they think) to feel they have to buy loads of stuff essentially starting from scratch again (body morph set, head morph set, muscle morph set, creature morph set, all the basic clothing types etc etc), not for any actual reason of real progress, and they ended up scraping the bottom of the barrel trying to invent supposed benefits. On going from V2 to V3 to S3 to V4 to Genesis, and M2 to M3 to D3 to Genesis, I could immediately see the real leaps forward in development and performance at each stage, and the benefits were very, very obvious to me. But I've looked at Genesis 2 and the claimed benefits over Genesis 1, and I just don't see it. All I see, with separate Genesis 2 Male and Female figures, is a return to few male-type clothes being produced for and gaping holes in the wardrobe of the future Genesis 2 Male figure, as with M2/M3/D3/M4, and even fewer non-sexy, non-girly, non-fairy unisex type clothes for Genesis 2 Female.

Base resolution is all that matters for morph details.

interesting how V4 (70000 polys) character morphs work fine on Genesis 1 (19000 polys base, 76000 with 1 level of subd) after conversion with GenX.

It is also possible to morph the subdivided mesh. And for really fine detail it doesn.t matter how many morphs there are or aren't to a normal map.

Judging by the name of the character, the first promo image would say this is Charlize Theron.

    http://www.contentparadise.com/productDetails.aspx?id=23588

    As in this image

    http://www.fanpop.com/clubs/charlize-theron/images/1693459/title/aeon-flux-wallpaper

The blurb says 'Aeon, a digital actress inspired by a real person.' Also that this is a second attempt at this character, the previous one being Candice.

If you're looking for his Tony Stark take a look at Jepe's Xenon -- not a particularly good match, but I haven't seen better.

There's a nice look-a-like at Renderotica, a very NSFW site.

Check out Jepe's store. Jonah bears a strong resemblance to Thor, Wade/Zenon to Tony Stark.
