Nah, maggie's got a different facial structure ;) I once spent a few weeks recreating Maggie.

She's not Kelly Hu either... At first i thought she's the Shado actress from Arrow.

    Yep, could be!

    CHEERS!

I am getting a Cameron Diaz vibe from this one:

The textures are for an older person, but I bet you throw in a younger texture and she will be a young, bubbly Cameron Diaz.

yes i thought Cameron Diaz as well, but based on the quote in the first promo image "That's how you get ants!" i think it is supposed to be Jessica Walter, who voices Malory on Archer!

You are correct, I will change the name.

    Ah. MRL Aella ...

Did a search on actresses with shaved heads ...

Charlize Theron with her hair shaved for Mad Max 4?

(And she's not just plain V4, whoever said that above - the head INJ includes a custom morph plus a bunch of Morphs++ morphs set.)

You know, I can't help wondering if Mihrelle reads this thread and chuckles mightily at our guesses/debates/arguments.

I hardly think, considering that Aella has been out for quite a while and that Mad Max 4 isn't out till next year, that one could have anything to do with the other.

Just because some of their characters do look like famous actresses, we shouldn't then take it as read that they all do.

Only my Summer Glau and Lena Heady morphs (well, and, I suppose, a dire Daniel Craig) were meant to be actual people, the rest of my character morphs were just ones I dialed and liked the look of.

    CHEERS!

I'm sure that MRL Aella looks like an actress, (Not very famous i think) but im sure i have seen her face in a horror or teenagers movie, maybe a cheerleader. Its really frustranting cause looks so familiar to me, but i cant remember!!

    MRL Aella... Oh boy.

She reminds of Eliza Taylor (no, not Elizabeth Taylor!) - recently in a CW series "The 100"

    http://forums.auscelebs.net/acnet-images/26094/eliza-taylor-cotter-362321.jpg

also about Theresa Palmer (Warm Bodies): http://www.wallpaperswala.com/wp-content/gallery/teresa-palmer/celebrity-teresa-palmer-nice-look.jpg

and slightly of Katherine Winnick (The Vikings): http://vikingi-online.ru/uploads/images/2013/253/spnx56.jpg

But neither is a dead ringer.

Well, I contacted Shifting Images about his Domina character just to confirm if he did, in fact, base the morph on Lena Heady.

And he denied it. He said he based the features of his morph on the pic I provided (that Shifting Images sent me through E-mail). Unfortunately, he could not give me a name as he did not know it. The features appealed to him and created a character out of her.

So, there you go. Domina is based on some unknown model. ;)

Funny, she looks nothing like Domina! (Or Domina looks nothing like her)

I had a little time for myself and decided to dig out my old Liv Tyler project. I don't remember what morphs I used, as it's all spawned right now and dialed to the extreme. And the texture does half the trick ;) Just in the light of previous discussion on "let's make a Liv" ;)

    S'what I thought. Vindication! :D

Could see a vague resemblance in the line of the jaw, but nothing otherwise specific. Always good to know from the artist what their intent was, though.

And, Ariah81, that's great work for Liv.

Please, please, please tell me this works...

    http://www.facegen.com
    http://www.relativitybook.com/CoolStuff/facebank.html

According to those references, it has an in-built way to export to Daz Studio and Genesis 1, specifically. Those likenesses are impressive.

Facegen has a demo which you can test out (puts a logo on the forehead). Seems to work *okay* - not great but a little better than Faceshop. I believe FaceBank has a demo/free version as well but the one I tried didn't appear to work.

What prevented it from functioning? The faces it showed looked great and I'd love to get ahold of the Juliet Landau and Drusilla ones, but the cost of the full product makes me sad!

There is one for Genesis on the above link I gave. No others I'm aware of.

Don't think she's based on any celebrity I know of. What makes you think she had been one?

  • edited December 1969

Most of j.kings models are based on celebrities and I saw the celebrity a long time ago, cannot remember the name. :(

I think this entire thread is proof that, until a modeller gives a definitive statement, you can ask ten Daz Studio users who their creation resembles and you'll get about thirty different answers - all of us convinced we hold the correct interpretation. :)

And considering that we have people-on-the-street who can do a decent go in the celebrity look-a-like field... ;)

That aside, are there any athletes in the celebrity collection? I wouldn't mind adding a few football and soccer figures to my list of downloaded people (for M4 or V4, but I suppose other models could do)...

Looks like Vanessa Williams to me. Especially with the hair he chose to show her with.

Might have to check this out too if I want an accurate Christopher Reeve. That's some good stuff on that facebank website

I'm struggling with this one... http://www.runtimedna.com/VIOLA.html Maybe it's a combo of a couple of celebs or a TV actress that I'm not familiar with.

Reminds me a bit of Uma Thurman except with a nosejob.
