This is a Dungeon Souls environment with Modular Meshes and Beautiful Props.

Thanks to the modularity of the architecture assets, you can create a vast variety of dungeons with modular walls, floors, arch props, and much more. This project offers modular pieces that you can create yourself, as well as the whole scene. All props/assets can be moved or removed from the scene as desired so you can have the scene you want. All models are world-scale for genesis models. Optimized props/assets are CPU-GPU friendly. The scene consists of a plentitude of realistic props, 6 camera settings for each scene that are ready to render, and 3 render settings that include the default render setting, denoiser on, and fog matte on. All of the textures and UV maps are optimized for Iray.

Dungeon Modular is ready for you!!!

I was impressed by the quality on display, but ultimately I passed on it.

There are no intersections, so it's "modular" only to the extent that you can make a straight corridor slightly longer. And it's not a "dungeon" in either sense of the word; it is neither a confined space where prisoners are kept,  nor is it an underground labyrinth heroes must explore, because again: it has no intersections.

If I can't recreate Wizardry with it, then I don't consider it "modular".

It needs more modules, because, yeah, corridor.

More modularity and it'd be a buy, but as is, not for me.

Actually,  The reason I say modular not only corridor parts, I guess included other props/ asset. This project, apart from modularity, actually offers realistic texture and model quality. Like Deamon Souls, God of War series games.

I don't think anyone is saying there's anything wrong with this product, just that a corridor is not a dungeon.  A rectangular and a rounded room with some more massive support columns would combine well and complete the set.

"Modular" specifically means a set is comprised of "modules", which a user arranges on a grid in order to create the floorplan they want.

All this product does is allow them to create a very long line.

The included assets and renders are fine, but I can't use this to make a custom layout for a dungeon. Therefore, it's not modular.

I put this on my wishlist, I think I could use this later! Would love to see some additions to this module system. And maybe a texture pack? Like a marble archway would be cool!

While I agree with everyone else, it does look amazing and useful! maybe it should have been named Dungeon Corridor - realistic instead

May or may not be a dungeon, it is definitely modular, and it looks fantastic. Onto the wishlist while I try to work out my budget.

  • Are the doors rigged? It doesn't say so in the product description, so I assume not. The candles and floor are very nice, the broken barrels not so much. They are far too low poly to look realistic. Nothing breaks that way in the real world. I'll pass for now, but might pick up when on 70% off.

You could totally make a dungeon out of what's here! You have your long corridor setup, widen it a little bit, and duplicate a gate in-between every pillar about six feet away from the wall. Then just add a new plane or cube to match the width from the wall to the gate and add the texture from the wall and build the individual cells that way. I think this set looks awesome!

I do have a question, is there a preloaded full scene included, or just the parts?

    Not rigged. Other door morph.

snap in place or do you need to nudge to get lined up correctly?

I think the OP mainly meant "dungeon" in the sense of an RPG dungeon, where adventurers hunt for treasure.

But without any corners or intersections, that's going to be one boring dungeon.

And sure, you can manually edit any environment however you want.

But that doesn't make it modular, which is how this set is being advertised.

People have to complain about everything. This is the first new item I've added to my wishlist in a while. High-quality texturing is really important to making products useful, and this appears to have it. I'll agree that a large room would be a nice addition, but it still looks like a good product.
