    ...as to the bank "surprise".

I had that same reaction and almost called to block my card when I received five overdraft email notices after I deposited my first paycheque a couple months ago. However, when I saw there was still positive balance I realised there was something else up so I called the bank's main CS line.

Turned out it was due to a policy I was never informed bout that as my cheque was deposited on a Saturday it was put on collection hold until the next full "business day" and I only had a 100$ cap on what I could use until then. I exceeded that with my first payment to my ISP that that to get back on line that afternoon after which I did a bit of shopping. 5 transactions that weekend turned into 5 overdraft charges (not jus tone) totalling over 180$ Finally after explaining I was given no information of this policy to both the bank's main office and the local branch (and hitting them upside the head with a bit of ol' fashioned logic) , I was able to get those charges dropped and credited back to my account. Wasn't fun though.

I watch Netflix instead of tv. Oops forgot to put the netflix disc in the mailbox. I meant to but forgot. Maybe there is a mailbox nearby the mall.

    mailbox?

is that anything like a phone booth?
..there are more post boxes in my neighbourhood than telephone boxes.

    Well, today blew to start..

Got up this morning to log on to the banks Website and check to make sure all my Paypal items had cleared. Looked at my balance..

    $490 OVERDRAWN! :ahhh: :ahhh: :ahhh:

Waiting for 9AM top ask where this random $560 check had come from, thinking my account has been hacked, chain-eating Tums and sweating bullets.. at 8:45AM my cell phone goes off..

It's the bank. They accidentally debited someone ELSE'S check on my account, not the correct one. Looks like the account #s were very similar and someone had a brain-fart.. they called to apologize and tell me a fix is in the works, no fees to be charged, etc. :blank:

    35 minutes of pants-wetting terror. I don't recommend it.

Only other complaint is that Ron's Brushes won't install via DIM because the bloody thing is looking for CS5. :blank: Will manually install later.

My stomach is killing me and I want a lot of beer. Have to wait until aftr work! *cry* * *cry* *cry*

Wow, that sucks! They should give you a little extra in your account for the stress they caused.

Crap like that makes me VERY angry! :vampire: That's why I'm so happy with Prosperity, they told me up-front that a late Friday deposit wouldn't be available until Monday.. then let me keep back 1/3 of the check in cash! Love this bank, first bank where I feel like a customer and not like a number,

...yeah, the smaller independent banks still take the time to care about their customers.

Once I get a steady income again, it's off to a credit union for me where I am a shareholder, not some billionaire investor on Wall Street.

I use Bb&t. Never try to rob your own bank as they will only give you the money that is on your account.

Overcast and gloomy and cold today - 35F right now, rain tomorrow and Thursday. Beats snow I guess. :long:

Grind coffee, make coffee, drink coffee, repeat! :cheese: Cheese nibbling in progress as well. Maybe I'll have my cream of mushed room soup for lunch!

And yes, it appears the DAZ Store is full of bull today.. like that's any different, I guess. :blank:
