Lunch today is wonton soup, here, and maybe a slice of cheese. I have lots of soup, if I had a transporter I'd send you a can!

Mental health day off.. nobody is in the office so I bailed out because I can afford to lose 2 days this week. Slept until 11AM, I must have needed it!! :gulp:

Cold outside with a chance of SNOW! :ahhh: Think I'm gonna hole up all day and render and compose? :cheese:

I wonder, if I remove some parts of a music track I'm working on, am I decomposing?? :P

Loving Comic Life 3.. easier to use and now has a built in script editor! :cheese:

Morning. Cool and still a little after dawn under the arch of a brilliant blue sky. No smoke in the air where we are, only the scent of roses and the kinda peaceful calls of breakfasting birds cutting through the growl,of early freeway traffic :)

Idiot mouth breathers behind the wheel who are too bleedin' lazy to flick that lever on the steering column to let you know which way they are going.

Made it all the way home without dealing with one vehicular C-F**k (a record) until I got across the street from my house where this brain dead idiot came around the corner then slowed down at the intersection (no stop sign) making me wait as didn't know if they were going straight or turning. They then decided to turn without letting me know they were doing so. My feet and back were hurting (especially after walking up a steep hill) but while sitting in their nice warm little cocoon, seeing me laden down with two sacks of groceries, they had no consideration to let me know what the frag they were doing.

As they turned (still without signaling) I shouted at them, "hey, I'm not telepathic you know!" Probably went over their little pea brained heads.

Probably were on their stinking I-Phone.

sometimes the bus driver is on his phone, while driving

Report him! He's putting lives in danger!

Is it illegal over there, as it is here? Using mobile phones when driving: the law
It’s illegal to ride a motorcycle or drive using hand-held phones or similar devices.

In the UK you can get an automatic fixed penalty notice if you’re caught using a hand-held phone while driving or riding. You’ll get 3 penalty points on your licence and a fine of £100.

Your case could also go to court and you could be disqualified from driving or riding and get a maximum fine of £1,000. Drivers of buses or goods vehicles could get a maximum fine of £2,500.

It is against the rules for a bus driver to use a phone on a bus here even if it is parked.

I don't know about New York (where Misty lives) but it is in Massachusetts, even for driving your own car...no handheld devices, and absolutely no texting. And we've had a few cases of public transportation accidents due to the driver being on the phone. One was a bus that almost went over a bridge...it was caught by a chain link fence and was dangling with at least one wheel in the air. The other was a subway train accident. There were injuries in that one, I can't remember if there were any deaths but I don't think so. That guy went to jail. Those were both in Boston. There may have been others, I've lost track. (no pun intended)

That's not what I've heard. Your eight year old cousin is not old enough to have heard about that, though.

Actually, I forgot...it's against the rules for public transportation drivers to even have a phone on their person now, because of these incidents, perhaps it's law, I'm not sure on that.

...is it the radiotelephone to dispatch or his/her own smartphone? If it's the latter it should be reported. We had a couple operators get sacked when caught using their personal phones while driving, one was even reading a Kindle.

We can complain for free in this thread?

I felt ill last night as I was going to bed, really intense hot/cold flashes, and had to stay up late so I could eat more. Then I discovered the water heater wasn't working. Now my video card is (mostly) dead with all kinds of artifacts. The backup I was holding on to is also dead! My brother had a really old PCI-X card in his old machine, so at least I'm not totally hosed, but today sucks. :(

Oh, I did make my first submission to be a daz pa last night, wish me luck?
