I wasn't able to watch the whole webinar while it was live, but just the first 50 minutes of it had a ton of useful information I hadn't known about. How to make Filament work, tricks for improving viewport speed in Iray preview, tips for moving through a scene faster, tips for positioning objects faster...

Definitely worth the watch and I'll probably be reviewing that section again later when I have access to the program to follow along. I definitely want to watch the rest of the replay to see what else was mentioned.

Yes, I hope it’s a FREE regular feature for all. I wasn’t expecting much but found it helpful and discovered several little tips and tricks I was not aware of. I just wish there was an actual MANUAL. Whenever I see some new tips in the forum, I copy/paste it in a Notes section on my iPad/phone. During a YouTube video, I have to take my phone camera and quickly take a photo of the computer screen. On the Mac it’s easy to take a screenshot but I haven’t figured out a quick way on the PC though. I guess I could watch simultaneously on my iPad and take quick screenshots there (too small to watch full video) but I really wish there was an actual MANUAL with all the ADVANCED and HIDDEN features of DS! (As well as Jay’s videos.)

There should be a PrtScr (Print Screen) button - on laptops it's often on a standard key and requires a function button to be pressed. Addinf the Alt key limits it to the active window

On top of that. A good tool to "power up" screenshots on PC is this one: https://getgreenshot.org/

100% free and gives you a lot more options and control of shortcuts, additional features like just capturing a selection and a very small and fast editor. Incredible useful for making tutorials / manuals.

Wish there was some summary of the tricks showed in the show.

That would be *really * useful!

I enjoyed the tutorial and learned new tricks.

Thank you, and looking forward to the follow up tutorial by Jay Verluis with more on poses and clothing/dForce.

I've now managed to watch the whole session (and some parts multiple times).
It really is excellent. So many little hints. For me the tips on Filament draw options, Scene Navigation and (especially) Puppeteer were incredibly useful.

Thank you!  The best thing that Daz has done this year.
If you want people to use your product, you have to show them how they can use your product (and then they'll buy more of your product!).  Simple.

    Encore! Encore!

+1   (Jay has a lot of EXCELLENT YT tutes...)  I find his "style" as very agreeable - quick to share his knowledge in a most down-to-earth manner.  Daz would do well to outsource a good portion of their technical support using video to him....   - Ray

Just finsihed the webinar, I loved it! Please Daz can we get more like this? Jay was such a great presenter, and I learned a boat load of things I never knew.

I saw much of Jay's webinar live and I'm going to go through the rest in the recording...  Fantastic.  I've been using DAZ Studio for nine years and I learned so many things I didn't know.  Thank you!

I wouldn't mind getting a Daz event tutorial from Esha. She plans ahead and does an amazing job. Every minute of tutorial time with Esha is worth 10 with someone else.

Awesome tutorial.  The funny part is, When I did the 10 dollar survery. one of the things I asked for was more indepth tutorials. Looks like I got my wish. Jay is awesome. Been watching him for years. I hope Jay and many other can do these in depth tutorials. So many products that are so confusing to use that I have bought. And still can't figure out. They all need video tutes!  Thank you Jay and Daz!

Would it be possible at some point for others in the community to present similar tutorial livestreams and be mentioned by DAZ as Jay's was? I'd consider doing something like that if I had the chance and there are plenty of other veteran users here who could share useful information and tips. Jay is great, but it might be a way to provide tutorials a bit more often if he's busy.

Thought I'd post the results of my efforts, following on from Jay's webinar

I hope they get him to do more of them.
