    Yeah.
    I like the Mega bundle, but I cannot justify supporting a practice where you buy multiple Add-On texture packs that are in the SAME bundle in order to trigger an overall discount. It's bundled or it's not.

    Either discount the bundle and take the duplicated items out, or provide some actual value (other Add-Ons) that we can purchase... and not $50 in undiscounted Add-Ons either.

    It's a bad precedent. I can't support it now if I want the practice to end now.

    I can only imagine how many more times we'll see this practice in the future if many of us buy in.

    If I'm generous, I'll call it a mistake this time.
    I do not want to see it again as a customer.

    Sounds like a bad deal to me. And I´m one who owns all but 2 Generation 7 and all but 1 Generation 8 Pro Bundles.

    I'm in the same boat, as not only is that bundle the only thing in the Add-Ons section that I don't completely own, I do already own two of the three components of the Combat Bundle, so even if I bought that I'd still end up having bought two duplicate products.  FWIW, though, if you have the same orange bar offer that I received, if you buy the three cheapest add-ons again (at $4.75, $4.45 and $4.45, you still end up saving an additional 6 dollars on the total package if you buy those with the mega-bundle.  WTH?  DAZ really makes no freaking sense at all.   

    Oh, thank heavens.  I thought it was just me.  There are some things I like in this bundle, much as there were some in the other bundle released this week/end.  Yet this one suffers from the same issue: those of us who've been supporting DAZ for years get screwed.  Pro Bundles used to be almost reflexive buys for me...lately, these new bundles aren't entirely "new," anyone who's ever bought anything at DAZ EVER winds up getting LESS of a deal than a newbie purchaser would (and given that we pay subscription fees, that really DOES suck), and coupons/deals/banners don't seem to function correctly.

    I should not have to open a ticket in order to get a deal that's as decent as someone who's never tossed money at DAZ.  I'm feeling more and more burned these days. 

    Yeah, I suspect that a lot of us are getting hit like this these days, as most of the recent promotions seem to have been pulled out of someone's rectum rather than actually thought out.  As it is, since the introduction of G8.1, I've gotted used to 2/3rds of the promotions coming up with either zero products available or displaying only things like Poser light sets and unimesh fits for V4...   Toss in the fact that customer service is nowhere near as customer friendly as it used to be and it's no wonder why, slowly but surely, my spending has been gravitating more and more over to Renderosity and even CGBytes.

    It is definitly not a mistake. We have had this in some of the last bundles as well. For me, this deal was really fine. Today, DAZ discounts helped me to save a full 100% </sarcasm>

    I’m beginning to wonder if they have moved most staff to other divisions because the sales are so badly thought out, there are errors every single day, and tech support doesn’t respond at all. The newest DS 4.15 is unusable for me with a 1080ti, crashes every time I try to view in iRay. I really think I’m going to stick to 4.14 and stop buying anything G8.1. But I already purchased several G8.1 items that I can no longer use. Getting really fed up with Daz.

    I was going from texture shaded to iRay. I’m now using DS 4.14 beta and it’s more stable except when rendering Dforce hair. Then it crashes. What kind of graphics card is needed these days? I thought a 1080ti was supposed to be decent for consumer software...

    Well I'm going to agree that producing a program that can run on most computers would be better for business than one which is becoming better suited for only running on super high end computers which, esp. in today's market, few can truly afford IF they can find one.

    Hoping D/S 5 fits does that ... plus handling the 8.1 figures better, plus ... maybe all those 8.1 characters shouldn't be loading out of the closet at such high resolutions states. First thing we have to do is turn them all down, makes more sense to load them as usual and leave it to the customer to dial up the resolution if/when they want to push the limits of their render engines and VRAM.

    With the rather surprizingly, um, "unusual" types of sales being presented, rather toning down expectations for any form of a decent PC sale to follow.

    On the plus side, have saved enough money to go shopping and buy some real clothes for the real closet :-)

    Edit to add: I just came across this and it could be the answer for many esp. where commerce is concerned. The product has a free trial period however I think it's safest just to say Google it: Iray Server and DAZ Studio - an Overview by The WP Guru  YouTube video :-)

    Today page is obviously incorrect. I already own a couple of the "debut new items". And nothing is related to "dirty dishes" as is claimed the front page..

    There is a weird behavior for the PC+ $6off$18 coupon.

    I add to my cart some PA items. Price is $19.88, adds the coupon and price drops to $13.88. Perfect.

    Now I add a clearance item at $1.99 and price is $18.16...

    WTF?

    99%  6off18 wouldn't change the price of the clearance item but it would be split to that item too. Usually, that's a 1-2$ loss, not 4$.

    This was fixed for awhile; BUT clicking on the banner ad is once again going to an old sale

    The PC coupons do not normally work on these $1.99 sales.

    Yup, the Noska promotion has disappeared. Hoping someone can look into this. I'm still on the fence about getting the mega bundle, so I'd like to have the full page to ponder my options.
