    aah yeah I see what you mean after reading one oh I can relate and tell some horror stories from when I went to art school got pretty violent against me with all the intense hatred and yeah physical violence towards me over my artwork, interests and even my existance and told I should end it all which gone through been unsuccessful at  that's always been my life though even when I was a kid

    With a clothes converter and some fiddling, the V4 Dryad outfit even fits G8 Anakku ... sort of.

    If there isn't one already, I'd love to see an art thread dedicated to using V4 and Previous Characters/Clothes/Scenes brought up to G8/G8.1... I'll go look to see if it has been done already....

    This is an interesting thread for sure, for science purposes of course ;-)

    Thanks to previous posters for sharing their examples and/or impressions, I discovered some really nice outfits thanks to this thread (also picked some of them up in the mean time). Anyway, I really wanted to share but most of the stuff I knew about was already mentioned.

    But today I discovered something in my content library, somewhat by accident: the chainmail bikini set!  Each to their own but I think it's a very interesting outfit.

    The materials are dated, they don't work well with Iray or Filament but only 3Delight. Another possible issue is that this isn't a set; you need to buy the pieces individually:

    And they even made variants and extra's for the outfit such as the chainmail jewelry set, the tube top (which I used in my render) and the gloves. When I picked it up I had somewhat mixed feelings about this not being a complete set to purchase, but ever since I got more interested in 3D modelling myself (using Hexagon at that time) I quickly realized that the author had to put in quite a bit of work into this!

    I'd also like to mention another variant from the same author: the chainmail top and chainmail skirt, I think those two also make a pretty cool skimpy outfit. But once again: not really useful for Iray and such, but I suppose you could always try to change the material and apply some texturing yourself.

    Hope this was usefull for some of you!

    Man this thread went crazy; I want to check out all the costumes people are posting. IMHO fantasy costumes should have some fantasy elements. When I was a young man I was totally into Edgar Rice Burroughs and his planetary romance stories and a LOT of the art I do pokes at that genre. I'm also an old Dungeons and Dragons gamer geek and IMHO magic armor is magic, it doesn't have to be realistic. I'm kind of tired of fantasy worlds that are based on Pre-Industrial Europe. Lets see more FANTASY and more cultural diversity.

    Looking through my library, I think I may have a skimpwear outfit for every genre. So, yeah...not casting stones at anyone's fantasy skimpwear purchases. My, I kind of am starting to feel responsible for all those skimpy high heeled armor outfits, etc. that PAs regularly sell.  Sooorrry.
