I am curious about the skins. Will there be any skin textures included or is there a specific skin to use to get the more flat and tony look?

Included 9 male(s) differents full textures :) (no genital)

Nine full male textures? Yikes, that's practically a product by itself!

Getting more eager every post. ;-)\

"Full male textures: no genital"... yikes! great product, but I would hate to think to deeply about that definition of "full male"

    Hello,
When you made charactes in the best store of the web aka DAZ3D, u must also follow some rules. One of that is no gens for toons ;) and I'm totally agree in that! :)

Nice render. I love the expression. So no making heaver built arms then legs, or the opposite.

Actually there is you can add different morphs,I only have M6 and the various morph packs but not characters, soooo yes you can change the arms or the legs or both if you want Here is a render of the Base Animate man in the red shorts, and then animate man with a bunch of other morphs added in the grey shorts.Hope that helps.

Just for the record, I would also buy the Genesis version in a heartbeat, and I also can't wait for the female version.

Three quick tests, a retro spaceman, a 60s-style Superboy (gotta cut back on the reflective surfaces), and three retro space cadets.
    Loving this set.

I would buy a Genesis Version too immediatly. Hey Westerdan ... awesome renders!!!

The Poses and Expresions are also exellent. I've used a little bit of Hiro 5 and Hiro 4 on the Boy Shape (BTW: 100% Hiro 4 looks strange on that shape) and the Kung Fu Clothes for Lee 6

Nifty character, thanks for sharing. I'm eager to see what his female counterpart will look like.

How soon can you start teasing us with the animated female?
Really, really looking forward to this set.
Any plans to do more animated male hairstyles? I'd like a flat top and a few more short styles like you've already given us, if you're taking requests. ;)

I believe he meant "yes" to the female being on the list, but by the "at the second place" he was responding to my second question about male hair props.

The female is probably first on the list... if they know what's good for them. ;-)

    Aw, nuts. :(
I don't think you realize how important the animated female is, but you guys must know what you're doing.
Thanks for the clarification, however sad.
In the meantime, please work two or three times faster than you normally do. ;-)

Where in smart content are the textures? Or do I have to use the regular content area to find them?

When I said "please work two or three times faster than you normally do", that was just a general guideline. Feel free to work five or six times faster if you want. ;-)
While we wait, another female stand-in test.

Ehhh... They're very different styles. Keiko is like you'd find in Japanese animation. This product is more Western and amazingly close to what was in the 'Evil Genius' game.

They're both in the stylised category, sure, but are radically different in use.

I like the idea of a contest, altough I think, it's always difficult to make the 1st prize as a hobbyist when some professional artists send in their contributions (see DS-Creative ;) ). Personally I would like to participate, if any contributor will get a little prize just to honor the work. Of course, there can be some winners of bigger prizes, but if anyone get a small prize, no one is really unsatisfied.
