hi PerttiA i uninstalled the auto muscle enhancer for g8 male thats what i meant
Ok, so the problem with bending the arm still exists.
I showed in my previous post a screenshot that would give the answer to your problem.
1. Load the Genesis 8 Basic Male into an empty scene
2. Bend his arm
3. Select the whole/base figure
4. Go to "Parameters Tab"
5. Check "Show Hidden Properties"
6. Click on "Currently Used"
7. Take a screenshot of the dials and their values that are listed (just like the one I have on my previous post)
ok i think i got this right this time ... is this what you mean ?
Yes, but the resolution is so bad it is hard to see the dial names, and I can see there is still some that cannot be seen. Scroll down the list to show the ones not visible now.
Comparing the values to my screenshot, I think the problem is that somehow the upper limits for xFLXAltShldrUp2L and xFLXShldrUp2L have been increased by around 10. I can't check the default limits at the moment as I'm still at work.
Move those two dials to a smaller number (less than 25) to see if the situation improves.
When did you first notice the issue with the bending? Can you recall which sets - characters or morph sets - you had installed just before it started to happen?
Ok, the dials I mentioned were ok, the max limit is supposed to be 35.
Something to try.
1. Load the "Genesis 8 Male Dev Load" into an empty scene. (Found in Content Library\DAZ Studio Formats\[Name of your library]\People\Genesis 8 Male\Developer Kit\ )
2. Check if bending the arm has the problem, if it does move to the line 3
3. Edit->Figure->Rigging->Adjust Rigging to Shape (select accept/ok in the dialoque that opens)
4. Check again if bending the arm still has the problem
also maybe you can help me with something else too the rendering is really fast is there anyway i can stop the fireflies they really improved the rendering tremendously it’s awesome i love it
If it's only a few, small areas, then inbcreasing the Convergence Thrshold may help (assuming it's noise). Another option is to use the Spot Render Tool, setting it to use a new window in Tool Settings, to rerender just the problem areas; save those as tiff or PNG and you can just drop them on top of the noisy render in your image editor.
...I've been following this thread and wondering about the settings in one of your earlier screen shots (#3 on page 1) where front/back was +38.38 but bend appeared to be +90000 and twist was set to -95000. Those last two values would exceed the normal parameter limits of 90.00 bend and -95.00 twist so not sure how they show up as that unless "Use Limits" in the parameter settings somehow was unchecked or overridden..
Ran a quick test first loading G8M and then applying a different body shape saved it (do not have the Muscle Enhancer), deleted it and form the viewport then loaded just the base G8M . Using the shoulder bone as the base for posing (usng the normal parameter limits) at Front-Back: 38.38, Bend: 90.00, and Twist: -95.00 to duplicate the pose in your third sample on page 1 and there was no distortion. I also checked the Shaping tab and Hidden Parameters and there no leftover morphs or JCMs from the previous shape I applied.
hi nevermind i figured it out it was a muscle thing i installed called swole 8 hercules ,,, and now i know how to use it .. ty sooo much everyone for all your help ... that was soo frustrating
I thought that had been fixed - if you haven't already done so, please redownload from your account and reinstall. If the issue remains, please open a support ticket to report it to Daz.
it is richard i fixed it i found out what was causing it .. ty very much for your help
The character is fixed or it is still broken and the fix was to uninstall? If it's still broken when installed then that really needs to be addressed, and while I'm sure Daz has reports of the issue already a reminder might not be amiss. If a redownload and reinstall has given you a working copy of the character that doesn't break basic posing then that is good, ans a true fix of the issue.
i want to ty sooo much for all the help you gave me to get this fixed you people are wonderful and i’ll never forget it ty sooo much you and richard and that other one petio ithink it was ty soooo much

What are your render settings? How much of the image area is affected by the fireflies?
the chest , face and the legs
not mucch just a little is there anyway i can fix that

hi rich where is the convergence threshold thanks very much
It's in Render Settings' Editor tab, in the pregressive Rendering group - Rendering Converged Ratio is it's actual name.
