Ooh, good to know- thanks! How does that work, if your membership isn't due to expire for months? Do they tack it on the end of it or is there overlap?
They tack it on to the end automatically. I'm good until March 2017 now.
I had to put two PA sale items in my cart to get it down to $28. Thanks, barbult. I didn't get any notice about a sale on PC membership.
I didn't see any official DAZ sale notice, either. I saw a thread over in the PC Members forum. It could be an unintended stacking, so I bought immediately, before it disappeared.
Thanks for the tip on PC membership barbult! I'm good till Mar 2017 now too
Um, I added only one thing, the PixieS poses and the membership was $25.20
That was a minute ago.
Thanks Barbult, we owe ya!
Going to get some sleep, chat later. Happy shopping!

Wow, almost everything went into my cart- it's Australia day! (I did my student teaching in Sydney, Australia. Love the Aussies, very kind and humorous people.)
Here's some of the featured stores goodies:
DM's Queen Chamber Poses are lounging and standing poses, but here's the thing- some are holding staffs, so if you want some good hand gripping something poses, these are showing 58% before your discounts. (PC member) They go with this set DM's Queen Chamber (on sale too. I have it but haven't rendered it yet.) There is a bundle with both, but it also has other items, so see if the two separately or the bundle would work best for you.
DM's Memorial Poses and Swords has poses for both Genesis 2 and Victoria 4, and poses for the Big Cat. The poses have the sword already parented to the hand, so you can use the poses, or do your own from there without having to get those fingers locked around the sword. It, too, starts at 58% off if you are PC member.
DM's Aithukaya is GORGEOUS, I've already showcased it. There is a small pond/lake as you rotate the scene, simply by moving the camera you can really change up your view.
So basically, if you are a PC member, swoop in to that store as many are 58% off to start with. I've used the Blox N Poses several times recently, and have used all the pose sets.

Fairy Nook remembered you Poser users, including Poser lights and materials! What I noticed is the vegetation looked good in the upclose shots, and the ground floor was also quite decent. This set reminds me of something that could double as a child's playset, a toy. You also get three different DAZ Studio light presets, so quite a bit to doodle with!
Deviney's Store is awesome. I have all but 3 (but that was a bundle, a Carrara product, and the second blood one.) I love his water brushes, SereneNight has used tons of his brushes in her renders. A Must Have!
Portals of Power somehow got past me- this has an awesome portals- and special effects for each one. Take a minute and look at the thumbnails! (And yes, also has Poser Materials.)
Aztec Portal
Celtic Portal
Egyptian Portal
Greek Portal
And how about 40 backgrounds, and you Poser users get wonderful lightsets! (Works in DS, but not all features of the lights.) Take a look at Chaotic Realms!
In the Featured Artist Catalog today is Alessandro_AM
Alessandro is the creator of the incredible Look At My Hair player:
I highly highly HIGHLY recommend his LAMH. I waited way too long to use this and purchase some of his products that use it. I was kicking myself once I finally started playing. I use the FREE version as I'm not really interested in creating my own hair/fur presets - I'm happy to purchase his products or use the free sets from his site.
His Real Fur for DAZ Big Cat 2 is an absolute MUST HAVE if you ever want to render a big cat.
And then he did White Tiger for DAZ Big Cat 2 which let's face it, is absolutely essential cos we ALL want white tigers in our art. Along with the Black Panthers, a white tiger is a staple for fantasy art. :) (Also a wolf which he has said he is working on)
For those of you who were like me, and wouldn't use his Real Fur sets because you were worried they are too resource intensive or memory hog-gy, don't be. I don't have a very spectacular rig at all (ASUS laptop, 8gb ram, Nvidia 610m 2gb card) and I found they rendered brilliantly. My system doesn't get bogged down at all, and I always use the Uberenvironment light in my art, and have found that the fur does NOT take a long time to render at all! In fact, often character's hair will render longer than the furs. I can't rave about his LAMH and fur products enough - as a proud aussie, I was ecstatic to see he had just released a Koala. Unfortunately he didn't include a preset for the dreaded drop bear koala species, but I'm sure that add-on is coming soon :D :D

If you are buying into the Australia theme today, you might be interested in the Kangaroos that are on sale in the Allessandro_AM store. They are 40% off plus your Rev Up discounts.
Excellent ideas! Forgot about the Roos, they make perfect sense. jakiblue I am so jealous that you live in Australia- absolutely stunning countryside and culture. And the Australian accent is beautiful.
FYI, I figured out why my membership was different. The day before, the Rev Ups were not included, and then they were (and still are.) So the 4 Rev up folks were getting 64% again. Ping, pong.
I do want to mention this set again- the Apocalyptic Plant Outdoors Set 1 was the first one I tried with Iray, and remains one of my favorites. It has muted light, aka, no harsh shadows, and great for those cloudy days, pre-dawn, dusk type renders. Take a peek at it and even if you aren't doing Iray now, it's worth picking up. (On sale.) Read the description so you'll understand what you're getting. He explains things really well.
EDIT: Doing a render for you now. 80% in only 20 minutes.
This is Sasha (V7) again, with Sela Hair (Genesis 3) and using the Apocalyptic Plant Outdoors Set 1
I made NO changes to the out of the box settings for the lights. I chose the "Sunny" render option.I let it go for 40 minutes so you could get an idea (in case it goes offsale, time is of the essence.)
EDIT: Second render: I tested increasing the Environment Intensity, and 1.30 will give you a lighter scene, and works well with an ISO of 110. With Sasha being darker skin, increase your Burn Highlights to .30 (In Tone Mapping.) Any of these settings can be further increased, but this was a darker character so for your lighter ones, I think starting there would be prudent. Note it did wash out the clouds in the sky, but if you aren't rendering the background, that won't matter.
I couldn't resist and bought Gurumarra, the Australian Aboriginal by Alessandro_AM. I think this is another good addition to the diversity of Genesis 2 Males. I haven't tried them together, but it would likely go well with Ryze.
Here's my first render of it in 3DL. The figure's clothing, hair, body paint, and spear are out of the box. The pose is too except I had to change the legs to match up with the terrain. The set comes with a number of hairs, props, body paint textures, body shape modifications, and poses. The loincloth, hair, and beard have a number of adjustment morphs.
The terrain is Easy Environments Eternal Sands with some grass added from Grassy Grounds Megapack.
Although I'm still very much a novice, I also tried an iRay render which is attached as a second render. I applied the iRay optimized Genesis 2 male mat to the figure and the iRay uber base shader to the terrain, loincloth and spear. Someone with more experience could probably do better justice to the image.
All in all it's was a great buy with my full throttle discount.
Those look good Rich! Iray can be complicated, and I've found tweaking the Burn Highlights and Crush Blacks helpful. Not sure how that would work on your really dark skinned individual though, as it would darken them so much while helping with the sand. Anyone with Iray experience have any tips on how to light a scene like this with such light sand and dark character? (I think you did an admirable render, mine would probably be washed out sand with zero details.) I'd personally like some tips, I'm a newbie too.
The aborigine looked good, I purchased him but haven't rendered yet. I might try him under the same Apocalyptic lights so we can see how that does. I really like the scruffs of grass you added- quite clever. Thanks for showcasing, keep it up!
PS For those subscribed to the thread, I added a second render to Sasha, a couple posts up. Changed the ISO and Environment Intensity, compare the two renders.
For new users of Iray, remember to rotate the dome to 180 (Use Dome Orientation Y) to get your lights shining from the front. The other two renders show you the default, with the sun setting in the back. Here's the 180 using Kimmy (Teen Josie 7) and Cyra Hair (for Genesis 2, goes onto Gen 3 flawlessly.) When you rotate the dome, you rotate the light- but also the background. Compare it to the other one.
Beautiful renders, congratulations!
Here's FW Alfred (Michael 6) wearing Alternate Identity (Genesis 2 Male) with Real Short Hair. (Genesis 2 Male) I love the textures of the Alternate Identity.
When the set loads, it seems to load cameras only. Is there a way to see the dome phsyically? It renders in the scene, unless I switch to a different background in environement, but I just don't see a physical dome to rotate. I'm sure I'm doing something wrong...

Very helpful - short and with pictures
Thanks! I shall check that out.
"Beautiful renders, congratulations!"
- Thanks Alensandro, easy with your product.
"This is my first human character so I'm quite curious to see how it will be accepted and used. "
- You mentioned this on your thread in Daz PA Commercial Products. With quality like this, hope you make more!
Novica - that Apocalyptic Plant HDRI is looking really good (I've heard good things about it elsewhere) - must add it to my wishlist.
By the way Totte (not a regular here but the RRRR founder of course) has just become a vendor in the store here (he already has his own store) - he's going by a pseudonym:
http://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/63983/modular-bailey-bridge-construction-kit-commercial
The bridge looks really good. It's great to get props that support other props and uniforms. When we have military uniforms, we need the props to go with them.
Are you having any trouble with the control to open in new tab (blank)? Some of the images that used to open in a new tab are now opening in this same tab. I'm using Firefox.
I'm on Chrome, but I'll go test it in Firefox and post back (in this post) in a few minutes. Be right back. Okay, I'm in Firefox. What exactly are you doing?
All I am doing is clicking on the image to open it larger. All those images I posted of the 200 Plus Morphs are not opening in a new tab anymore for me. They used to. RGcincy's Aboriginal images aren't opening in a new tab anymore either. They used to. Some other images still do open in a new tab. I even edited my post and verified that the images were linked correctly. I don't know what is going on. I suspect it is another forum software bug, but I don't know.
Okay, gotcha. The word "control" confused me, I interpreted that as using CTRL to do something with the tab. (I don't use Firefox so wasn't sure if it was that browser's option for something.) You are correct- they aren't opening in a new window in Firefox. Testing Chrome now.
The aborigine one doesn't in Chrome, but my Alfred one still does. Your faces don't open in a new tab in Chrome. Strange! (Let's hope the images don't disappear if they mess with it!)
Thanks for confirming it's not just me.
I'm on Chrome and find the same thing - it's hit or miss recently as to whether an image opens in a new window or not. One time it will and the next it won't. Wish they could get it to work consistently.
Barbult, I just checked and all your images are opening in a new window as they should. What bugs me is half the time the images open white and I have to hit the refresh button to actually see the image. That's hit or miss too.
