Hope you get yours in one piece too, Wendy! I had to re-attach one of the hands on mine, but thankfully you can't tell. I just think it was really awesome of DAZ to send these out, it's so cool to have Victoria 6 as an actual, real-world figurine.

Now, if only they could make her an action figure! ;)

Damn, I bet you need an address embedded in your account, I only input my details upon ordering and never save them...

I wish I was included in the offer :).

I received one today as well. Thank you Daz.

However it does bring up a question on the printing. Will the 3D printed figures be offered in different coating options? Because Victoria coating is too much shiny for my tastes. It makes the figure look plastic-y since its the entire figure at that gloss level as opposed to say just the suit.

Thanks so much DAZ peoples! It was very generous and thoughtful of you. Mine too was broken at the hand but no big deal because it can be mended. She is beautiful!

LOL! I'm in Canada too and I've checked the mail 3 times today. %-P Though I'm guessing it will probably be another 4 or 5 days. Boo! But I'm soooo excited!

Woohoo! Knock at the door, I was sound asleep!

Jumped from my bed to see what was the matter, and what to my wondering eyes should appear but
that good looking Postal Service guy with a square box and a wink.

Thank you, DAZ. It's very exciting to feel a part of new venture.

I live on the U.S. West Coast, and mine was waiting for me today when I got home from work. Thank you very much, DAZ! Now I gotta go shopping for a display case to keep it in.

Wow, thanks Daz I got one too. I had suggested this idea earlier and I guess someone listened. Pro 3D printing is out of most consumers reach this makes this service great. Now you can set up a character and pose them and Daz will print it out for you. I can see this being a great way to give 3D gifts to my friends and family not just pictures anymore. Great Idea.

Ditto, but a little superglue fixed her up just fine! I'm also very, very happy with the gift. :)

    In Wisconsin, btw...

Someone should warn Daz that bubble wrap is not a good way to protect these fragile statues. They need to be packaged in cut egg crate foam otherwise they will always arrive broken.

Haven't received mine yet. I live in the UK, so I expect the delivery time to be a while longer, what with customs and all. I just hope Vicky survives the journey! It's great to see a photo though. Looks like I need to tidy up my desk so she has somewhere to stand. It's long overdue, with papers and bits of random tech all over it. It's a wonder I can ever get any work done with these office toys.

Congratulations to my fellow gift recipients. It's a lovely way to start the new year, and a big hearty thanks go to Daz for this lovely surprise.

    I got mine today.

The right hand was snapped off at the wrist.

I play BattleTech though so I'm accustomed to pieces falling off. A quick superglue application, wait a few seconds for it to bond, and I was able to put her up on display.

    She looks nice.

Thank you very much for the cool thing. I will look forward to giving her more companions to stand with in the future.

AKA, please make custom printing available soon. I have some characters I would LOVE to show off. ;)

Mine arrived in one piece, but I have to admit I'm surprised at how light-weight it is -- very fragile. I was also expecting it to be heavier. These are meant to be looked at, not handled.

Good question. My suggestion is: everyone lucky who receives the figurine, tell us more about the conditions (the country, how frequently you place an order...) - maybe we can decipher how you qualified. Also of note, did you get a notification you will get something? If so, was that through mail or through DAZ popup windows in the shop?

Slightly out of question: don't you think Minotaur 6 and Reptilian 6 would look fabulous as figurines???

For all we know they picked names out of a hat. There are recipients from Australia to the US to the jolly old UK. Though I will mention that the original message about the 'free gift' (didn't specify what it was at the time) stated it was because we were considered 'valued' customers. I know that I, have spent thousands of pounds at the store (pounds sterling, so that's a lot of dollars) over the years.

Whatever the reason it's a wonderful gesture. Sometimes it's best not to question why.

Australia, 4-20 orders per month, probably $6K in orders in the last year - might be more; I spent $9K total across all stores and Daz gets the lion's share (Don't tell my husband!) I got a popup when logging in, saying I would be sent a lucky gift if I made sure my mailing address was up to date, by a certain date.

(Thank you, Daz! Can't wait for it to get here!)

I got the same message as HeraldOfFire via a popup at the Daz store. They asked me to update my address so they could send me a free gift for being a "valued customer" and such.

I have bought a few things of late...and I've been told I have a British knack for understatement...;)

I live in Minnesota, USA. Got it on the 2nd of February.

I do consider it rather fragile, and the bubble wrap may not be sufficient packaging. But I am very happy with it. :)
