Aww come on now every good Irishman knows that Fairies, Elves and the wee Leprechauns are everywhere
And real people
A quick warning, right now I'm getting products that I purchased not showing up as owned when I'm on their page, nor in the cart, either. Might want to pay extra attention.
Seems OK to me - try logging out and back in, it may currently be in a betwixt and between state.
It's just fixed itself it seems, before, logging in and out didn't make any difference. You're right, everything's kind of in-between probably with the store changes going on. Thanks for checking!
The other day I mentioned how confusing it was to call a product a bundle when in fact it was just one product. Today the confusion continues with a bundle that is a collection of multiple products, not being called a bundle: https://www.daz3d.com/military-props
Why can't already owning parts of a bundle not be taken into account with pricing? Since the bundle price was too high for me I already bought Michael 8.1 standalone. Now I would like to finally get the bundle but I'm not willing the pay the full (aka requested) price already owning the single most expensive item from the bundle. We had a complete your bundles sale once. Why is it so hard to enable this in general?
ok, so the other one was a collection bundle and Daz saw the redundancy and kept this one to just collection and now the complaint is it doesn't say bundle? Daz has sold bundles within bundles before; collection seems appropriate to me as a synonym for bundle.
It's not a question of synonyms. That's what they are called if they have other, separately purchasable items in them. Bundles. That's the official name used throughout the site. In the navigation, for example:
It used to be consistent until only a few days ago.
This isn't the first time the issue has come up - there was at least one other, a PA character-plus set as I recall - that was valled a bundle without having separate products.
Today's item does have separate items in it, though, but is not called a bundle like these used to be called. Ah well, I'm just pointing it out. I can certainly live with it. :D
There is a nice flash sale on: 80% off 3 DO items.
Only problem: only a very small part of items in the given link are presently discounted. https://www.daz3d.com/wonderful-flash-item-deals-1
Either the list or the discounts should be fixed.
Just came back to my PC and noticed the e-mail announcing this Flash Sale. I'm confused too ... do the discounts below each item apply or can we select any three and get 80% off? Seems to me that most items listed are showing 30%, not 80%.
The discounts apply in the cart, not on the product page.
For people living outside the "DAZ Time Zone" - aka everybody not living in the Americas - there's a further problem: putting up these flash sales in the middle of the night (or, so further east one goes, even at later times)
But hey, there's other shops who do it differently...![devil devil](https://www.daz3d.com/forums/plugins/ckeditor/js/ckeditor/plugins/smiley/images/devil_smile.png)
I save even more by sleeping through the flash sales LOL but yeah...
I hadn't realised this was also being discussed here. Although I have no doubt it's not intentional, it feels actively hostile!
I started another thread that lists the sales last week based on data kindly provided by you. Thanks for your help :)
And if you see any I missed, please do jump in and correct me.
This is the "There's always another sale" thread, and with sales that start at 4 am, that's pretty much a perfect slogan. Tonight there was another sale starting at 4 am with tons of items I would have picked up had the sale been at a more rational time. What I don't get is that even in the US this is at night. At like... 10pm on the Eastern Coast, if I'm correct?
You are correct. Just about useful I suppose if you are in NY and you go shopping in bed.
But there have been sales starting earlier. Yesterday, the whole US was offered as many Daz Original items as they wanted from a selection of over 6,000 at 80% off and they could use Daz+ vouchers too. Some were 87% off. One responent to my thread was apparently able to pick up $135 or stuff for $10. In the UK that ran from 11 pm - 3 am, so I guess that would be midnight to 4 am in most of the EU. Useless.
I don't mind missing half of all Flash sales because that feels fair. I do mind missing almost all of them.
Would probably be best if flash sale discussion was in that other thread as it makes it easier to keep the info together - and more easily found.
Thanks Cris. Good idea.

Some Interactive License prices still are 50% off instead of $10 on this bundle for example:
https://www.daz3d.com/enchanting-ornaments-bundle
And this one:
https://www.daz3d.com/millawa-8-cryomancer-bundle
I don't know how many other vendors products are affected. But all licenses should be $10 as per statement until the end of January .. so ?
Both go to $10 once in my cart.

These are supposed to be 60% off for Daz+ members. And if you put them in the cart, indeed they become 60% off. Why show the wrong price in the shop, though? I don't think it's all that common for people to shop by putting every single item they want in the cart to see how much they cost. They just look at the price tag, and move on if it's not good enough. Or are my shopping habits too crazy for believing that the price I see in the shop is the real one?
Neither the Scrooge Bundle (https://www.daz3d.com/the-scrooge-81-bundle ) nor any ot the items in it are included in the storewide sale although they're not marked as 'new' anymore.
There are quite of few sales that require you to have certain products in your cart at the same time to get hte discount but it usually warns you of that on the sales page
I understand those. But this one is not one of those sales. There is no requirement here. It's 60% even if that's the only item in the cart. But that's not what is shown in the store, for some reason. If someone goes to their wishlist page and looks at their items, they might skip this sale because everything is shown as only 50% off.
Well, there is the requirement that you be a DAZ+ member to get the 60% off instead of 50% off
Maybe i'm missing something but when I see the sale such as today I can't help but be a bit confused by the sale strategy.
Buy 3 new releases and get a free starter pack (sounds good on paper) I can't help but feel it's missing the point of an incentive sale, with the buy 3 items there is only 6 options so that already narrows it down but those are aimed at gen 8 (.1) but then the free starter pack is gen 1-3 only.
As a someone who uses gen 8 stuff how is that offer meant to tempt me into buying any of the new items? (Like wise the opposite would apply, if I used gen 3 why would I buy gen 8.1 stuff for the free gen 3 pack?)
