    @FirstBastion,

The first Canadian I ever met was a Catholic priest, Fr. Pineau, of French descent from Prince Edward Island, who taught English in high school. In his youth he sailed to China during the inter-war years, joining a group of missionaries from France, Germany, Hungary, Spain and the US. They saw themselves not just as men of faith but also as Westerners who sought to bridge the vast gulf between civilizations. When WWII wound down and the civil war ended with the Communists victorious, Fr. Pineau and company left China and settled in SE Asia. There they continued their ministry among the Chinese diaspora, laboring tirelessly as priests and educators. Fr. Pineau stayed in his second adopted country and served his vocation until the end of his days. He was laid to rest on the peaceful grounds of a seminary overlooking the city from a hill.

He was a priest and a teacher. But first and foremost he was a decent man who lived during the tumultuous decades of the last century. It's from men such as Fr. Pineau that I first learned what multi-culturalism means.

    Have a peaceful New Year.

    Cheers!

That's great!  I bought the character.  Thanks.

You guys crack me up lol. Well, IIRC the OP lives in Canada, and that sensitive word pretty much means ethnicity. We usually would avoid using that sensitive word though.

Ethnicity means something complettely different from race.  Look up the word ethnicity in Wikipedia or a dictionary - it specificically says the concept of ethnicity is "separate from the related concept of race."

Something that has helped me is to search by connections- for example Daz has several Black characters (Monique, Darius, Jinx, etc) and most of the characters based on them are too. So if you search for Monique, Darius, etc you will find even more Black characters. Then if you check out threads like "Black is beautiful' you will find a lot of characters there too and most people are friendly and either have already mentioned what character they used or will tell you if asked. Another way is to find PAs that are making more racially diverse characters (Mousso, redzstudio, SdebStore/Samsil, Rarestone/Ravenstone,etc) because they may have more of the character types you are looking for. That's usually how I 'search' the Daz store, that and just coming to the forums- so many helpful and kind people here trying to help people find what they are looking for :)

Those are very good ideas.  Thank you.  By the way - I was the one who started the very first thread on DAZ3D called BLACK IS BEAUTIFUL - years ago, now.

I wonder what (credible) data or source your statement is based on?

A quick search of reputable sources produced 1) official UN data from 2006 (https://unstats.un.org/unsd/demographic/sconcerns/popchar/popchar2.htm) and 2) a recent OECD report explaining concepts and approach to measuring diversity internationally, but unfortunately without the actual data (https://www.oecd.org/officialdocuments/publicdisplaydocumentpdf/?cote=SDD/DOC(2018)9&docLanguage=En) 3) Then there's always Wikipedia which needs to be taken with a punch of salt as it isn't an official scientific source (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_countries_ranked_by_ethnic_and_cultural_diversity_level)

I love different races of people.  I love the diversity.  I think a lot of people are proud of their race.  Even more than race - I love the cultural heritage of different peoples. And I like SUBCULTURES of people whether it has to do with their race or their culture. I like including a varitey of racially different characters in my art.  All races of people are beautiful.  I live in Toronto Canada - a city where half the population was born in other countries.  It's not normal for me to produce art where all the characters are one race. It doesn't look like my real world. I really appreciate the content artists who are selling characters with different complexions and hair attributes - some of them with very beautiful skin shaders - and some of them for races where there is only 1 or 2 characters available.  I especially appreciate the artists who are producing mixed-race characters. I watch the TV news - I'm aware that "race" is being politicised by all kinds of different people for all kinds of different reasons, and it's a trigger for some people, and it's a complicated subject to deal with.  But my intentions are positive and loving and inclusive.

Take it easy. Back on topic, I agree that Nida should be closest to what you are looking for. I would say Jinx come close too. For non DO Oda May comes to my mind, but she might be a little too mature. (EDIT: Oda May is DO, sorry did not remember correctly)

I also love the different types of humans.

The main problem with the concept of different "races" might come from the fact, that there was a 1000 years long period in my country's history - which lasted for about 12 years... not my country, but that period.. - in which my parent's generation was taught a rather negative concept of races and their "racial traits" which they later made sure to not get accepted by me. Seeing other people still using the more outdated concept variations that are still close to what they were taught then is for that reason a bit weird for me, but not the least unexpected, when done by people who didn't share the same cultural heritage.

No intention to offend anyone from Canada. Sorry if anyone is offended. And I truly believe Canadians respect different ethnicities and cultures. I just wanted to say the choice of wording might rub some people in the wrong way... hope that what I am writing now doesn't. Thanks

Yep, you got that right, rubbed me wrong.  Racism in Canada - Wikipedia

To the topic at hand. for gen 8 females you can use Skin Builder 3 for Genesis 3 Female(s) | Daz 3D

    For gen 3 females Skin Builder 3 for Genesis 3 Female(s) | Daz 3D

then use Genesis 8 UV Swap: Male and Female Base | Daz 3D to map your female gen 8 to male skin you created.

Genesis 3 UV Swap: Male and Female Base | Daz 3D for gen 3.

I'll just add this here. Of the cities listed in the precentage comparison across the entire world, three in the top 15,  Toronto Vancouver and Montreal are all Canadian cities.

Or global data from a more credible source than Ashleigh whatnot's blog: https://data.oecd.org/migration/foreign-born-population.htm#indicator-chart
