Ok, I am tired of having to scroll to the top.

I find this annoying, and there's another odditiy. On my computer, when I go to the next page I get a row of boxes with the spinning update arrows on them. At first I thought the page wasn't loading, then I found as soon as I scroll, even a tiny amount, they update. If I don't scroll the page they just sit there with the spinning arrows. Maybe it's something to do with my setup, I'm using Chrome on Windows 10 Pro.

I don't think it has to do with your setup.

Mine is doing the same. Also Chrome.

    For me this is browser-specific.

    • If I use Safari on my iPad (iOS 15) then I get "infiniscroll", i,e. the store isn't paged at all, I can just keep scrolling and new items just keep appearing.
    • If I use Edge on Windows, the store is paged, and I have to scroll manually to the top when I select a new page.

It makes no difference whether I'm signed in or not, so I don't think this is A/B testing (where only some users get a new feature initially).

Check the Items per Page setting, to the right above the list of products.

Thanks, that was it. It's persisted so I expect I changed it at some point on the iPad.

I wonder if "All" might be a better default, or if the option is really needed now, but as I wok in software, I am sure there will be considerations I'm not aware of, which is why they didn't do that.

It's an established fact that poor web design will chase people away from your site every time. Daz needs to fix the site. And PLEASE bring back the search box so I don't have to scroll thru hundreds of PA's to find the products of ONE. A big fat "F" to whomever came up with that stupid decision.

    Thank you very much.

I get the spinning arrows too ... Edge (Chrome based) on Win 10. Let's face it, DAZ doesn't have anyone who knows much about web sites. The Store "improvements" have been a mess and the forum is a disaster zone ... Bad Gateway (502 and 504) errors, offline for days at a time, slow responses, duplicate posts, etc. The question is: how bad do they allow it to get before they either outsource the site design or maybe just sell the business?

It does seem to have got away from them - and not just the web site. I saw a comment about DAZ 5 being potentially years away. All the improvements we've been hoping for, all those threads of wish-lists for DAZ 5 - well, don't hold your breath.

And now I see product pages which look totally strange, black, bulky new layout, I have to scroll in every direction if I want to find the information about the product, while the old layout was showing me all nice and compact what I needed to know. I get the impression that DAZ is actively making buying here as unpleasant as possible.
    Well, mission accomplished.

As I recall it was the default at first, to howls of anguish (in part because it's then hard, or impossible, to use in-page search to find an item if/when store search returns too many items)

My Mac has no home key.

If you have a function (fn) key, it's fn-left arrow. (Fn-right arrow is end, fn-up arrow is page up, fn-down arrow is page down.)

...agreed.  If a "brick and mortar" store were in this sort of disarray, people would avoid going there and shop somehwere else.

Thanks, @murgatroyd314; no function key either. But it's OK.

I'm almost there. I haven't bought anything in days and am losing interest. If this was Daz' intention, they've succeeded.

I know it is easy to moan and some of us do a lot of that here on the forum but I guess we are all looking and hoping for the best possible product offering and service.  This is only a hobby for me but I spend hours of most days immersed in that hobby. Some of those hours are often spent trawling through the various offers in the store on which to spend my limited hobby budget. Recently, that trawling has become a tedious chore and I am no longer interested in figuring out the tricks and workarounds to filter and find the products that I might want to buy. I can understand DAZ wanting to improve the store experience but I can't understand why they do nothing when they have obviously made it significantly worse.
